Black Death | Act I: There is No End

There was nothing good about the city of London. Everyone knew that too.

The faces said it all. Their actions just supported that. Everyday, I would trout by the streets of London, always looking for something edible to bring to the family, when men would be fighting over even the smallest edible thing you could consume. If you didn't notice, food was as scarce as someone smiling.

Speaking of fights, with resources at critically low levels, you can expect that crime was at critically high levels. Fights, robberies, and murders were very common and for that fact alone scares everyone to death… literally.

… Maybe I should stop talking about death for now.

Soooo….. Girls, am I right? Sorry for that. I don't know how to speak properly most of the time. I don't think anyone does these days. Being a boy during these horrendous times is strange, huh? But furthermore, girls are strange. I've barely seen many and if I did, they were mostly at home or out displaying their beauty to all the men around. You would think that they would have something better to do other than expose themselves but nope. They don't. If some don't do that, they become extremely private and picky with their men. They are only a few exceptions though, but they're rare to find… Then call me Mr. Luck---

Oh wait. I'm still talking. Ummmm…

You heard nothing.

But like I said, true beauty is hard to find these days. Just like everything else...

The one thing that seems to be in excess were all the bodies that just seemed to be everywhere these days. Or should I say, years. The plague was taking London by storm. Everyone seemed to be dying, whether it be in the mind or in their skin. Personally, I'd think it would be both. I'm not sure, though. You can never really understand the plague until you're infected with it.

Others would disagree.

Of course they would.

They're the people above it all.

They have everything they want. They get everything they need. They're the people who are making things worse for us by not giving us what we need.

There is nothing noble about being rich.

And everyone made sure they knew about it.

They may have the money but we have the power.

They're just too idiotic to realize.

Hopefully they realize soon enough that no one is safe from the plague.

That the plague never hesitates.

That's why we call it the Black Death.
