Things are never going to go the way that you expect... not even in plague nor in death. But then again, did you really expect much to ever happen? Well...

Set in medieval times and in times of outbreak, Deus lives a depressing, yet hopeful life. Romance. Friendship. Unfortunately, things turn sour and things change for the worse... or perhaps for the better...?

Follow a strange boy's trials and tribulations, triumphs and memories as his thoughts take him through dark, unexpecting, and even strange places.

I'll be honest, I had to read this novel multiple times to really get the gist of everything. I'll start off by saying that the writing there was very good, there's emotion, imagery and the scenes as well as interactions between characters are shown nicely. No info dumps whatsoever, thus making the reading experience engaging. Now, while I do understand that the author stated that this is a slow burn novel, I was quite lost as the first few chapters. There were things going on, they were being told to me, but I'm still trying to figure what does Deus really want in the end, because his goals seem extremely vague for me at the moment. The remaining chapters up until the recent chapter felt much more clear in terms of direction. Also, why are there two tags to this story? modern and medieval? Also, why are there two tags to this story? modern and medieval? because I barely see any detail containing any one of the tags, and more information would be nice. Also, I haven't really seen the sci fi aspects stand out. In short, the writing itself is good, but I believe the world building and story direction can be better.

FIrst of all, I love your book cover, especially when you mentioned that you made it! Second, your introductory for the book is superb! Although I am not a fan of informal writing (or dialogues), it was enough to captivate and engage me in the story~ Will definitely read this through~ Kudos for the author!!! [img=recommend]

Writing is excellent, background and update stability--it's all pretty good. Dialogue is top tier, the narration is great, OP knows what he's doing. OP is good at building things up, world tensity, chemistry. Cool stuff.

Hello, readers! This is the author, Bummer, speaking. This review is to bump up a little bit of stats (yes I am very selfish. Hate me for it), but it's also to inform some expectations for the novel. First off, the novel is expected to be big. Acts won't be long, but won't be short (About <20 chapters or more... I'm not quite sure yet.) The novel is also expected to be updated frequently so I don't just leave you guys hanging on one chapter! There will be moments where I'll take breaks but that's normal! The synopsis is intentionally vague and more talkative of the future, so if you were confused... I hope this clears it up... Sort of. My ambition for this story is high and I hope you guys enjoy it just as much as I enjoy creating it. Thanks for viewing this novel, stay tuned for more chapters, and stay safe.
