Interuption | Act I: There is No End

....

.....

...

The floor...

The floor was cold.

I could no longer feel the heat of the sun and instead, I felt cold.

I did not understand why.

So I tried to.

My eyes...

My eyes. I finally opened them.

What my eyes could only see was the dark and moody color of black.

I could only see what it seemed to be darkness.

My hands...

As I got up, my hands had helped me lift myself off from the floor.

As I did, my hands felt something strange.

The floor felt strange.

It was bitter as stone but fluid like liquid.

I did not understand why.

So, I tried to.

As I stood from the queer ground, I could only see some what of an outline of structures.

Structures that resembled like houses, but were nothing like it.

Nothing like the dirty, broken, imbalanced homes that I knew.

For example...

The structures were floating.

I looked around, seeing all of this in it's weirdness. And then I prompted to look up.

There seemingly was another platform, much like the one I'm standng on, and then another above it, and another, and another....

It seemed endless.

For a second, I thought to myself, 'This can't be happening. My eyes are decieving me.'

But then, something hit me. No... literally.

"What's the point of decieving you when you're already living in a world of deception?"

The words surprised me. Franticly, I checked all around. The voice... I heard it. But it was nowhere to be seen. No entity to identify it with. If there was one around me, however... then it must be the darkness, inhibiting me from seeing anything.

"What the-? Who are you?" I desperately shouted.

The voice laughed. The voice is dark in terms of tone, with similar tones and voices speaking at the same time.

"Is it the same with you, people? Always desperately asking for a name? Identification? But for what reason? What is the sole purpose? For that, there is no use for you to know what I am, especially since I know what makes of you."

The questions... they felt familiar. As if, I was speaking them. In fact... I think I was.

"Are you me?" I shouted back to the void.

The voice wasn't audible for a while at upon hearing the question. Only after a moment of silence he replied:

"Do you ask that I am you? For the solution is that I am not. But I am rather something far greater than what you can comprehend. But do not worry...

You will... soon enough."

Suddenly, the world started to shift. The ground felt like it was moving. The structures seemed to build and dissolve altogether and light started to build at the center of it all.

Noise started to build up and in just a few seconds, it had reached to a point where I would almost have to plug my ears from it.

Destruction was happening all over, and reconstruction would follow.

It was madness.

The- The world was simply mad. So, I ran away like a madman. I rushed away from the light, as quickly as I could.

With all my might, I just booked it. Seemingly getting further and further away from the bright light.

Until I couldn't.

As the ground continued to shift, I was seemingly getting pulled by some unknown force.

And in that moment, I started to panic.

Things were getting real.

I tried to resist the force, but it was non-conditional. It's going to continue to pull me in no matter what.

The force managed to pull me in so hard, I just FLEW across the air, flipping like crazy.

In a split-second, I grabbed onto a piece of the floatng structures, holding on like if my life depended on it. Because at the time, it DID.

But soon enough, the building dissolved and so, I was let go.

As I continued to be sucked in, I looked at the light.

It was bright now. Bright as the sun. I could barely look at it for a second.

And there was nothing I could do but to close my eyes and expect the worst...
