Alpha Blaze's son

Tiana's point of view:

Unlike what happened five years ago, Aeron refuses to leave my side when it was dark.

"What's happening?" I asked him while waiting for an honest answer, but he didn't seem to have any clue about what was happening.

"It's a long story… Still, I don't know how they made it that specific night. How could he know about today's ceremony?"

His questions got me lost more than before, so I found myself wondering again.

"Who are you talking about? And what stories do you know about while I don't?"

"Not now Tiana!" He shouted at me while grabbing my hand. I followed where he was dragging me to end up in the path leading towards my room.

"Where are we going?" I asked him, but he wasn't answering on the way we met my father. I grabbed my hand from Aeron's grab, then I threw myself over my father.

"What's wrong?" I asked my father since Aarons wasn't answering my questions.

"Werewolves attack…" He said simply before his eyes went searching for Aeron. "Take her to her room, then follow me."

" Can someone talk to me like an adult? What's wrong between you and the werewolves? Why is this all happening a second time? I demand to know!"

"You will, and I will be the one telling you everything by myself! You have my world, princess. But let me take you to your safe room now!" Promised Aeron while father didn't seem to appreciate Aeron's promise.

I nodded as I believed Aeron's word, still; I wasn't sure about the reason why my father doesn't seem to like what's happening. I mean, what happened that day is weird enough. To happen again makes it weirder.

As it's known, werewolves live under packs and gather friendships only with nearby packs. Such an attack would require more than just one pack, and packs won't gather together unless it is something important.

When we reached to my room, Aeron helped me in, then decided to leave. Still, before he went out, I took my chance to ask him for another time.

"Aeron!" I called after him, and he simply answered me with "Yes!"

"Please! I want to know what's wrong. You don't know how it feels to always have no clue or idea about things around you. I'm really sick of it! Besides, you gave me your word."

He took his time fighting his demons about either to tell me or not before he finally decided to speak.

"Five years ago, Alpha Blaze and his son were invited to France by the alpha of the southern France pack along with other eight alphas, since they were holding something like alphas' meeting there."

I nodded to show him that I'm focusing along with the story he's telling.

"As you know about the issue we were having with that exact pack, they were responsible for planting and producing Vervain while sharing it around the world. Well, there was that time where we've had enough trying to come up with peaceful solutions, but it always ended up always the same way - no results at all. So, your father – the King himself, decided to take care of the whole situation by his way."

"What do you mean by 'his way'?" I cut him off, not wanting to have any sort of bad thoughts about my own lovely father.

"The same way he had acted up with his brother, by bringing death to all those who crossed his path." I didn't like the way he was talking about my father. Still, it was the truth.

"What had he done?" I asked while wanting a proper answer.

"He recruited an entire newborn vampire army, and they killed the entire pack, along with the guests. Females, children, eldest, they were all killed by the army created by your father. "

My entire world started spinning around my head. Newborn vampires are mostly like timing bombs that are ready to explode at any time. They can't control their feelings either their hunger, which made them some sort of highly strong killing machine.

"And…?"

"And what princess?" He asked right away after my question, which had me to explain the reasons behind my question.

"If he killed them all, then the story is over. Yet, there's still something left to say."

"Very clever from you, you see – there's a reason why I do like you." He answered with a playful, cute wink.

'Wait … What?' I shouted inside of my head. Did he just confess about liking me?

I shook my head, throwing away all those thoughts and ideas that were running inside of my head. Then I decided to focus on the most important thing for now, which is the story of my dad being a murderer.

"Cut with the nonsense. I need to know what happened after that day, and what this all has to do with attacks on us?"

"Everyone was killed. Still, there was someone who survived that day - Alpha Blaze's only son."

"And he's after revenge," I concluded after Aeron.

"That would make the story a bit boring." He explains with a testing smile on his face, while he half laid on the wall while crossing his arms.

"And what's not boring?"

"The young alpha took over all the packs in only three months, which is sort of impressive. He gathers them all together, then launches his first attack. All the ten packs are now one huge pack that's after you and your father."

I was running out of words that I could not think or speak until Aeron's voice drove me back to reality.

"I'm leaving now. Stay safe!" This was all he said before he vanished while closing the door on me inside.

I lay on my bed while thinking about what Aeron told me. The whole thing kept playing over and over inside of my head. What was annoying me the hell was the wolf I've seen five years ago? Was he the son of the so-called alpha Blaze?

Guess that I have to find out by myself. I pushed myself toward the door to find out that it wasn't just closed; it was locked.

I ran my both hands through my hair while thinking about a solution, a smile crept toward my face when I noticed the obvious solution – the window.

I open the window then I jumped while intending to search for all the answerers I'm needing by myself since I already believe that no one but me would satisfy my curiosity.
