"Getty had made the biggest mistake of her life by doing that, she would have chosen another punishment than this!
" I think she just wanted to make sure that we won't return to the hill," Jace said with his eyes on her.
"We would if we wanted to and I think theirs something she isn't telling us about there because I can't stop having this weird dream and the feeling my body was burning to a crisp each night!
" I think she's trying to protect us, Elia" Jace pointed out, of course, he knew something was off about those hills, he had seen the changes but still can't figure out what all these were.
"From what exactly, Jace? Bedelia snapped still not getting it, she needed an explanation.
" Let me see your birthmark. Jace gestured to her back, he knows what happens when she ends up this curious he wanted to help her uncover these but at the same time, he didn't want her to get hurt.
Bedelia sighed and turned her back to him and allowed him to lift off her shirt, its itches weren't that frequent but it didn't help her curious mind.
"It still hasn't changed back, Elia...what I don't understand is what this pentagon means?
"And why did it change in the first place? They both turn when they heard slugged open and revealed both Kira and Evan standing in the doorway.
Evan's face turned pale as he watched them both of them, he had to clench his fist to remain calm.
" Sorry, we didn't knock" Kira apologized turning over to Evan to see his murderous glare, he better control his anger she thought and made her way inside the room while sticking to her side on the room.
"I thought the door see meant to be knocked on...to announce people's presence! Bedelia snapped pulling her shirt down, she didn't lie when she said they'll rob them of their privacy.
"And how can we help you pervert? She turned to meet his murderous glare while keeping her distance.
" I came to clear the air, I'm not a pervert or spy like you thought" Evan managed to say and tried not to concentrate his attention on Jace, he didn't trust himself to be nice.
"You wish! And tell me what other reason you followed me?
" Like I've said to protect you! he said while trying to clear the picture of her shirt being raised in Jace's presence, it was nothing and he shouldn't make a big deal about it but he was already on it!
"Tell a better lie next time, Pervert! she stood and spared one last angry glance at Kira before walking out of the door followed by Jace.
But he stopped midway to lock gaze at Evan!
" Could you imagine? All these years, llireahaya made me think she was dead, I thought she was dead! Diana laughed sadly.
"Did you know the satisfaction I felt when I felt her energy... it's so pure and I could hear it calling to me" She shut her eyes and tried to feel the energy in the air but it was long gone, the energy she felt that night was long gone!
She pushed back her chair in anger and flipped the table in front of her with her power leaving Irene...her personal servant in fear. There was nothing he enjoyed more than this, instilling fear in them and watching them squirm in fear.
"I could swear, I felt it...her energy was so pure and inviting but the next minute it was gone!! she snapped in anger but looked over and found that they had turned everything around her to ashes.
This time, she walked to Irene where she stood obediently at her service. "It's too late for them to hide, Irene...I won't rest till I find her and I know the right people to meet"
