Queendom
Queendom was very different from kingdom it did not have much civilisation, but the people here still believed in the old way of doing things, there were no buildings or cars or fancy mall and supermarkets. It was authentic in it's setting and was the true nature of Hummingheart unlike kingdom that had civilisation and modernisation. They actually did call the Queendomians the uncivilized for there ways were still the ways of their ancestors and did everything in the old way. Their were ruled by elders from the line of the elders that counsel the Queen.
This was after Caleb Dirak had ensured their death first before his other plans, the lineage of the elders killed under the hand of Caleb Dirak were now the ones incharge of all matters at Queendom and everyone honoured and respected them. They executed justice and did rituals and ceremonies in honour for the Queen. They all believed and waited for the return of the Queen even after Mr Caleb had declared that she had died.
They all got ready early that day for the long journey. They walked for a great distance before they finally came to some houses. Which was really good news that they could atleast get people to help them with even just water.
They luckily got help and one gentleman who lived within there offered to help them. He gave them a meal before they were now able to talk of where they needed help. Luckily for them the man worked in the palace and offered to help them after they had introduce themselves and although the man wasn't much learned he certainly knew they were important people one way or the other.
He led them to the palace but before there arrival rumours had already spread around Queendom on the presence of the Queen and the heroes and the most powerful witch in their land. They could see from their way of lives how they deeply honoured the Queen. They were the exact opposite of Kingdom. From there entrance to the gates of the palace people bowed and even when they entered inside a celebration was already set for them. The elders were already awaiting there arrival with much honour and respect to them. They were received well and alot of people were now coming towards the palace to see for themselves the heroes and the Queen. The elders requested kindly for them to allow them present a few entertainment for them as they all had really awaited their arrival.
The palace looked alot like the Kingdom palace it was made of the same style and bricks only that this was it's other half, it had different rooms and had portraits of their mother Margret whose real name was Queen Hysponia. There was the elders room that had the Queen seat and the four seats of the heroes. The garden at that palace was more beautiful than that in Kingdom they had really taken good care of the palace at Queendom.
"We are very delighted to have you here with us"Linab the lead elder said unto them.
"We hope you stay for a few days to bless us with your presence, we understand you have a mission and thus you can't stay longer with us but certainly you will come back"
"Thank you so much Linab for the kind gesture. We truly appreciate and certainly we will stay for a few days before we leave" Lorna said humbly at him. They loved that place it was the only place they had been welcomed with much love. People came everyday to see them with many gifts that they were not able to carry all when they left , they extended there stay there for three days that had celebrations and rituals everyday. The people of Queendom were given more hope now and they definately were set to be ready for whatever came in defence of their Queen and heroes.
" This is the room that has been kept secret from everyone, here you will be able to cross to Kingdom into the half of this room that is by their side, you can also come back to Queendom through here from the wall you will walk into from here" Linab directed them as they were now ready to leave the wall which was only passable to the queen ,the witch and her heroes not even the elders could cross through. It was in the centre of the palace from where they were divided.
"We look forward to their arrival as well" Linab said referring to the children she carried before Lorna crossed joining the rest on the other side.
"Wow if we knew of this place we would have never gone through that long sea journey" John said as they all chatterered on how great everything had been. The room they walked in was quite empty and had several drawings on the walls around it.
The door out was locked from the outside but they could open it from the inside, they opened the door and walked out locking it by the enchanted words they had been given by Linab to use to lock the door. This was to keep that place safe as Mr Caleb had never been able to unlock it.
"Are we ready for this?" Lorna asked them before they set the plan on how they were going to act moving forward.
"Yes, more than ready." Hunkins said looking at Ashly who smiled back at him.
"Can I see my father before we get started" Derrick requested, he had gone through alot those last few weeks and that was something they could not denie him.
"You all can come with me, I will tell them you are my friends" Derrick suggested.
"Would love to join you guys but I really need to check on my grandmother as soon as now?" Ashly said as she kissed Hunkins goodbye and everyone else before she dissapeared.
"We wont stay long I just need to see him one last time make things right between us and I want you guys to be there, " Derrick said.
"Well you guys go but I have to remain here, I guess I will join you next time" Lorna said to them ,she knew she could not leave to the human world yet. she had to get started and she hoped to find Mark back already, she had missed him dearly.
Her brothers agreed and they left to Hunania immediately from there by use of magic. Lorna went on to find her way to rooms she was familiar with as every place she walked to were rooms and places she had never been into. They were so dusty as if no one had ever attended to them. She discovered another garden on that same side that was well kept as if someone watched over it only that it never seemed like anyone could get that far to that place.
She walked through it picturing how beautiful it would be for her and Mark to make this there next favourite spot, where no one could see or bother them. Time was going real fast and she had to leave there. She was struck with hunger like never before. The only place she could picture after a long time away was Mark's room and she appeared there but there was no sign of Mark anywhere.
She then opened the door and walked out hoping to find anyone atleast to update her on everything. Melaik was coming from the opposite direction when he spotted her and was very shocked to see her but excited and happy at the same time.
"Lorna!!"he called to her in surprise. Lorna turned and was happy to finally see someone who would help her get some food.
"Can I get some food, I am so hungry " she said after greeting him.
"You want food?" Melaik said laughing he actually thought she was joking but she kept her serious look that was definitely showing she is serious.
"You are just in time for the evening meal, we can walk there if you don't mind"
"I would pop there like right now but a walk is not that bad. Is Mark around?"Lorna asked curiously.
"Don't you know he dissapeared with the blue storm? Ow am sorry I thought you knew but we are still hoping to find him. I actually thought you had gone to look for him. Where have you been all this time?" Melaik asked now concerned that Lorna was not even aware of Mark's dissapearance.
"Get me a meal and we can talk about that" she said absent minded thinking of how and why had Mark not returned yet when they had left at the same time from DragonDom.
The dining table was not complete it only had Manak and Mike who were also shocked by Lorna's return all of a sudden. She greeted them and sat down heading straight for the meals, they all looked at her in shock as to how much she ate that evening the food was usually for everyone at the house and was alot but Lorna ate it all and they could only look and wonder from where she had been that there was no food.
