Chapter 39

Hunania

The Misdkoza brothers arrived at the entrance of the gate but they could not magically enter inside, there was some form of protection on the inside that prevented any of them to get inside with the use of magic. Which was very strange as they had expected Derrick father to be a normal human with no magic.

"My Name is Derrick Misati, I need to see my father" Derrick said at the guards at the gate who were different from the ones he had seen the last time.

"Sorry boy we have not been informed of you" the guards said asking them to leave.

"What do you mean..where are the old guards? Please sir let me in or I will have my father fire you as soon as he is back" Derrick said angrily at them.

"I didn't know you were from a rich family Derrick" Meshack said looking at how luxurious that place looked.

"I don't like talking about it, my father is hardly present for me always busy with his bussineses and campaigns" Derrick said not so happy about it. A car was coming towards the direction and he hoped that it was his father. The car stopped at the gate waiting for it to be opened, all the car windows were lowered.

Derrick could see the man seated in the next side, it was his father who turned his attention to him after he called to him.

"Finally you are here, your gatekeepers have kept me and my friends out long enough" Derrick said to his father who kept on looking at him before he ordered the gatemen to allow them in, they a got in the car as the distance to the house was a long distance, but Derrick kept looking at his father and could feel something was off about him. He did not apologize for his busy work that kept him away from him and he didn't even scold the gatemen for stopping him from entering.

They all walked in the house and Derrick started questioning his father as they walked in.

"So now you will act like you no longer care about me. I always knew you were faking it dad, every time you said you loved me and you were really sorry for not giving me time as you were supposed" Derrick went on nagging but his father kept his silence.

"Why are you behaving weird dad, is this really you?" Derrick asked now looking at him suspiciously signaling the boys to sorround him.

"That's not your father boy. I am really sorry your father passed away" Queen Hysponia said to him coming from the other direction. The Misdkoza brothers froze for a moment before running to hug there mother with joy.

"I don't understand" Derrick said as he watched the man he thought to be his father transformed to Gregory Nodicus. They had taken over the president office by the image of the man who had won, the former governor Dual who was Derrick's father.They hadn't really had a great relationship since his mother passed. His father never either paid much attention to his son and was busy at work leaving him at the hands of servants.

"Mom....is this really real?" Hunkins asked not believing his eyes.

"Yes, where is Lorna?" She asked now very emotional after seeing her sons.

"We left her behind she had to look to some matters" Meshack answered to her.

Their father James walked In with Billy Nodicus and the boys were very much excited to see their father and uncle again. Derrick was shuttered after hearing of everything that had happened to his father and he had never felt that much angry.

Later that evening they had a meal after they had been updated on everything.

"We really need your help here sons we are receiving attacks from Mr Caleb to the people at Hunania, he is trying to bring us down but now that you are back you can help defeat some of this attacks he is sending" the Queen said to her sons after telling them all about the weird happenings that has been happening to the people at Hunania.

The boys clearly understood their mission and purpose, they were to protect both the human world and magic world and they were all ready for it. They could not stay longer there and they left sooner but still with an obligation to come when duty called.

Derrick was filled with pain of being hurt by the Dirak family he was more than ready to do what it took for justice.

Ashly walked in their cottage as soon as she arrived. Everything looked odd for her and the house seemed like it had not been with people for days. There was dust in most of the things in the house.

"Granny...Sabina" she called for sometime before her great grandmother arrived.

She had alot to tell her grandmother and alot she wanted to to ask her but from how sad her grandmother looked she instead focused her concern to her.

"What is wrong granny" Ashly asked her great grandmother who looked at her and tears were now flowing from her eyes as she tightly hugged her.

"I missed you...I thought I had lost both of you" she said still hugging her as she cried.

"I am here granny I can never leave you" Ashly said to her.

"I thought I had failed your mother Ashly....you have to help me find your sister" she said looking at her in the eyes with so much dissapointment in herself.

"What happened to her granny...did it not work?" Ashly asked now worried. she had never seen her grandmother worry as much as she was worried now.

"It worked but you know your sister she can never let things be...i think she went after the Dirak's....I have not seen her for a long time now and her magic is undetected" she said now heading to have a seat down.

"So it's true she is not the heir to the ancestral witches, passed from mother?" Ashly asked now connecting that what had happened at the witch place at Queendom was true. She was the one who had inherited the ancestral witches power from her mother.

Elizabeth looked at her, wiping her tears and moved closer to where she was.

"I am sorry I kept this a secret from you...it was to protect you and to keep them away from taking over everything..but I knew you would learn of it soon with the coming of the true heroes and Lorna. "

"It still doesn't make sense..grandma"

"Let us find Sabina first and I shall explain everything to you" Elizabeth said to her giving her her word that she will definitely explain to her everything.

Ashly did not know where really she would begin her search for her sister, even though they had not maintened a good relationship between them they still had a connection. They tried all methods of connecting Ashly to Sabina and even sent messages through spells to her but there was no reply from Sabina.

Back at the palace King Gerald had made sure all the arrangements for the Queen death ceremony was done properly and well. All kingdomians were to attend with no excuses of missing whatsoever.

Georgina had hardly stepped out of her room ever since her arrival with her mother on her hands dead. She was traumatized and no one could have access to her, she had not eaten for days and went on mourning with so much bitterness and pain In her heart, especially now that she knew who it was that had killed her mother.

She thought of a million ways of destroying her even if it will mean her end. It had been declared a mourning week for that one week, before her send of that was to happen on the last day of that week which had come.

Everyone in Kingdom made there way to the royal death grounds where every queen of Queendom were laid rest. Mr Caleb had tried to stop the king from laying his wife to rest there as she was not of the royal blood and had not been born of Hummingheart but the king would here nothing of the sort. He wanted his wife to be given respect like all other Queen's of Queendom.

"The announcement has to be made during the ceremony" Mr Caleb said to the heroes and the King after they had finished planning on the Queen's death ceremony.

"Father, Japheth may not yet be ready for this especially now that he is mourning" The King said.

"Then get him ready..you ought to see far like me Gerald we are having gaps in our kingdom this is weakness..."

"You are right" the king said after a deep thought. "I will send word to the Hirat's regarding our proposal"

"Good. Melaik it's now your turn to woe over Lorna now that she is back....from where was it?"

"She hasn't said much concerning her whereabouts all this time...she says she needed a break and knows nothing that had happened all this time, but everything is under control" Melaik answered with confidence.
