Adrians POV

I walk out seeing her sitting on a bench fanning her face lightly.

"Marinette!," I called and walked up to her "you okay?"

"Uhm yeah," she mumbled as I sat beside her.

We stayed quiet as we saw the sunset, I don't know if it was comfortable silence or difficult silence for her.

"Adrian-"

"Marinette-" we both turn to the two people calling out our names.

There stood Kagami and Anthony looking at us confused.

"What is she doing here?," Kagami mumbled.

Marinette stood up proudly "I'm here because MY friends invited me out to have fun," she emphasized on 'my' and walks away before pulling Anthony with her.

"Did you see how she spoke to me?," Kagami frowned at me.

"She's not wrong Kagami why ask a question that you know the answer to," I grumbled before walking away from her.

"Adrian I thought we were going to fence today?," Kagami stopped me.

"I texted you canceling our plans," I mumbled.

"And why would you do that?"

"Because I need time for myself, I don't have to be with you everyday of my life, I miss my friends," I stop in my tracks and turn confused "how did you even know I was here in the first place?"

"Well duh you have your location on."

"Kagami don't do that," I sighed and rubbed my head "m-maybe you should head home."

"Well why can't I stay?," she complained.

"Because this isn't my house, I can't invite someone without telling them ahead so just go," I groaned.

"This isn't fair," Kagami mumbled.

"No what isn't fair is that you went after Marinette once again, that you complain that my friends don't like you after you prove them every single time they are right about you, that you stalk my every move like you don't trust me, you come to places where I am, unannounced, that you give me no space to breathe," I walk over to her and grab her wrist before throwing her farther away from me.

"You are suffocating me-," I groaned.

"Adrian calm down!," I look up to see Marinette glaring at me.

"Marinette don't butt in-," Kagami started.

"In case you forgot but last time Adrian blew up he was Akumatized and could've gotten himself and everyone hurt, so no you be quiet and leave because your gonna make everything become a living hell for everyone," Marinette rolled her eyes.

"Woah when did our little Mari become so tough?," Plagg laughed.

She starts to walk down as Anthony is behind her.

"You guys ruined the mood for me once again," Marinette sighed, and walked to her moped, Anthony walks up to me before patting my shoulder.

"Relax," he whispered.

"Marin-," I tried to apologize.

"Just get her under control Adrian, I'm tired of having my name in your arguments with your girlfriend," she mumbled and drove away.

"If your thinking of breaking up with me you know you can't," Kagami mumbled as she sat on my couch after we left the gathering together.

"I know," I whispered to myself.

"And if you ever do Marinette already has someone as we both saw today."

"Stop talking about her Kagami," I groaned.

Kagami sat beside me and tried to grab my hand but I pulled it away softly.

"Why are you acting like this hm?," I tried to hold back my tears.

"I've been a good boyfriend to you, I did whatever you wanted and I act like the perfect person you think of me as, but your always making me feel worthless," I sighed.

"Adrian-"

"What's wrong huh?"

"It's Marinette-"

"Can you just stop with her?!," I stood up and walked away from her.

"Just listen!-"

"How can I when it's the same crap from you?," I rubbed my head annoyed.

"She's in love with you Adrian!," Kagami yelled.

"Not this again! She isn't okay! We are just very good friends, how many more times do I have to tell you?," I paced around my room.

"Just be honest with yourself and admit that she's in love with you Adrian! Think about it! She's always-," I grab her hands as she starts to cry.

"Adrian, please I'm scared she's gonna take me away from you," Kagami broke down as she looked up at me with tears in her eyes.

"She won't," I sighed.

"She always trying to be around you, I'm just scared."

"Don't be."

I fell for the same trick she pulled.

The same crap like before.

I fell for her crocodile tears again.

I always do.

I mean I love her, shouldn't I want to stay with her.

Marinette's POV

"Well wasn't that just crazy?," Anthony laughed as he recalled what happen with Adrian and Kagami.

"You were totally cool showing both of them their place," he laughed loudly as we parked beside the bakery.

I walk into my room and change into some pjs.

"We could've handled that better right Mari?," Tikki got out of my purse and laid down on my bed.

"I know, I just couldn't handle her speaking of me bad after I did everything she asked me to do," I sighed as I sat down on my chair before grabbing my journal and started to sketch.

"You have to understand her to you know," she looked at me sadly "I mean you were in love with her boyfriend, I know you didn't try anything to be with him, but still, I guess she felt scared."

I nod and look down at my paper seeing a nice black dress I designed.

"Maybe you should start working more on your designs and take a break from taekwondo and Martial arts," Tikki sighed as she flew beside me and snuggled into my neck "you really have a talent."

"I started Martial Arts I have to finish and succeed," I laughed lightly as she started to tickle me "everyone is counting on me back in Shanghai."

"I understand," Tikki smiled.

I felt my head start to get clouded and I grab my head phones before telling Tikki I was going upstairs to get some fresh air.

I put on 'I hear a symphony by- Cody Fry' I let the air push my hair behind my face as I open the the small frame of wood to get to the balcony. I walk to the rail and lean over it taking in the smell and pulling back as I was met with Chat green eyes looking at me.

"Chat," I gasped as he sat on his stick only a foot away from me before doing a back flip landing behind me.

"You look a bit stressed Princess," he laughed.

"What are you doing here?," I asked as I stepped back confused.

"I was just patrolling, saw you and decided to have a chat with my Princess, I mean we didn't get to talk a lot last time," Chat laughed lightly.

"Sorry," I sighed.

"Don't worry, so what's got you all worked up?," he asked as he sat down on one of my chair, I sat beside him and rubbed my eyes tiredly.

"Can we talk about it another time I'm pretty sl-sleepy," I started to yawn loudly.

"I barley see you though," he pouted.

"Not my fault," I joked.

"It issss you rarely come out to your balcony when I'm on patrol."

"That's not my problem is it?"

"Your so mean to me Princess," Chat stood up and sat at the foot of the chair I was in.

"So now can you tell me what's on your mind?"

Ever since I came back I avoided the balcony as much as I can because I know Chat would be out there. It's just he can be a bit prying and apparently he knows everything about me, meaning he can see me through my wall I've built. I just didn't want him to feel sorry for me like he did before, but I needed someone to talk to.

"Just my old friends girlfriend bringing me into their relationship troubles," I sighed.

"Oh."

"His girlfriend is always down on my throat when we meet one another, and he-he doesn't do anything at points except try to calm her down," I give Chat a look and scoff "like that helps, his friends have been a second choice since she came," I grumbled.

"It just angers me sometimes."

"Have you tried to talk to him about how uncomfortable you feel?," Chat asked.

"I don't even want to look at his face."

Adrians POV

"I don't even want to look at his face," Marinette mumbled.

I felt my heart break at her confession knowing she was talking about me.

"It just hurts knowing that he won't listen and- and," Marinette stood up all of sudden and started walking to the door that led her to her room "I don't want to talk about it anymore Kitty, I just want to handle this my way, I can't deal with drama when I have my next comp in 3 weeks."

"Why has she always tried to hide her feelings from me, when I finally feel like I'm getting to know her better it's like there's an entire other side of her," I whispered to myself.

"She's like the moon," Plagg said.

"Plagg no."

Marinette went inside her room before I started to run to mine, I jump through my open window and turn on my lights.

"Told you she didn't like you anymore," Plagg mumbled as I de-transformed.

"Shut it," I grumbled before rubbing my head and quickly walk to my weight room.

"Let's not do this again, your dad finally left today and you have all these 2 weeks to yourself and your gonna waste them in your room with bruised up knuckles," Plagg groaned in annoyance as he followed me.

"You know you can be a better Kwami if you just tried to cheer me up instead of putting me down," I mumbled as I wrapped my hands with tape.

"Adrian I can't be like that with you because you need to see how your in the wrong in this situation," he said.

"So Kagami isn't in the wrong?," I complained.

"Of course she is, but when it come to you being fake with your friends that's all on you buddy," Plagg patted my back.

"What are you talking about?"

"You know what Marinette said was true right? You have been putting your friends second to Kagami since you started dating her-," I cut him off.

"No I haven't-."

"Oh yes you have and you need to see that, everytime they invited you some where you said you were busy with Kagami-"

"Even if I have been putting them second Kagami is my girlfriend and the times I took her to hang with my friends no one talked to her," I mumbled.

"Oh my god! Everyone was being nice to her! Sure she acted chill with everyone the first few times but soon she started complaining how no one had manners or didn't 'hold themselves upright', what I'm trying to say Adrian is that she tried to change everyone to be perfect," Plagg yelled a loudly.

"No one had gone through that except you because, no offense, your father always expecting more from you. Just imagine all your friends getting told that they were missing this or that for them to be called 'perfect'. That hurts for them Adrian," he pinched my ear.

"I don't believe you," I pushed him away from me.

"Stop letting this girl control Adrian! Isn't that why you wanted me? To be who you truly are?"

"I am being me Plagg stop acting like you know me when you just eat cheese all day complaining about everything," I mumbled.

"Wow," He mumbled before going on the couch ignoring me.

"I won't help you when you get hurt, I won't help anymore, but when you see how I was saying the truth don't tell me why I didn't tell you."

"Whatever you don't even know what 9 plus 10 is," I whispered.

"It's 21!," he yelled before I walked into the other room before I started punching my bag.

I don't know why Plagg was all up in my business, he was never like this, he always stayed out of it. All of sudden he's seeing problems now? I think he's just been annoyed that Kagami has been taking up all my time and he can't handle that.

I get a notification from my social media to see that Marinette posted a picture with Anthony as they sat in her room holding a thumbs up and the caption saying they were practicing for the next comp.

Are they dating or what? I mean why would he be in her house? In her room at this hour? Why am I getting angry at the fact that she is dating someone? Why did he show up all of sudden when I was getting closer to Marinette?

All of sudden my punching bag falls to the ground after all the punches and kicks, I groan in annoyance as I look at my bloody knuckles and unwrap the tape quickly before running into the restroom and running my hands under cold water. I hiss in pain and dry my hands softly before I walk back into my room as I see that Plagg left out the first aid kit on the couch as he was already asleep on my bed, I laugh under my breath.

Maybe I should consider what Plagg is saying.

After fixing up my injuries I slide into bed and pat Plaggs head.

"God I feel like I'm unloved mother that no one listens to," Plagg complained.

"Plagg," I laughed lightly.

"Let's never fight again I hate being mad at you," he hugs me and I push him off.

"The breath Plagg the breath," I complained.

"I am really unloved," he pouted.
