Chapter 33: Information

Mo woke up with a hangover which wasn’t a pleasant way to start the day, but what was a girl to do? She had an early morning flight and had gladly sacrificed sleep to spend the night with her friends. They had a great time at the karaoke bar until finally calling it a night. Eli ended up puking out on the street before they got into Jennie’s car.

Jennie had acted the part of an overworked parent and dragged them to their dorms. She woke Mo after two hours of sleep, gave her water and painkillers for the hungover, and drove Mo to the airport.

“Thanks for everything, Jen,” Mo said. “I hope you weren’t too annoyed with us last night.”

“It was fascinating in a way, like watching National Geographic.”

Mo laughed despite her aching head and put on her sunglasses, to avoid the glare of the fluorescent lights. “Happy holidays, Jennie. I’ll see you next semester.”
