His thoughts were spinning. Kathryn had to have known this whole time about their father. She was eight when their dad left them. She had to have had memories or their mom could’ve said something when she was alive.
He needed to talk to someone. He left the bathroom, folder in hand and went back to Sue’s desk.
“Hey, Mel,” he said. “Is Aunt Marie in?”
“She is, but she’s busy. You can’t go in-”
“Great.” He headed for the door leading into Marie’s office and let himself in. “Thanks, Mel!”
