Chapter 84: Time To Stand Alone

ALIAH

Starting into Seamus' eyes and seeing his resolve, she stiffened her spine. 'So are we ready to let them know about our plan?'

He nodded.

'I think you should take the lead on this. I don't have the strength or the will to take part in a prolonged argument today,' Aliah spoke quietly so only Seamus could hear.

The Wizard's gaze wavered at her words. 'I guess I can, although I am not sure what to say. I'll have to trust this new foresight I have, I guess. Well, here goes.' He stood and offered Aliah his arm so they could make a united front. Pleased by the gesture, not just because they would appear as a team, but also because she could barely stand by herself, Aliah took her position beside Seamus. Dominic stood behind her, and Emer fell in behind Seamus. Something about this group had Aliah feeling she could face anything.

As all eyes turned to them, Aliah swore she witnessed the very moment Seamus got his foresight. He stood taller and radiated confidence.
