Chapter 95: The Enemy Speaks

ALIAH

As she tried to disconnect her vision from Emer's, the ground crumbled beneath Aliah's feet, and everything went dark. Aliah struggled to breathe. They were buried under a mound of dirt.

Panic rose in Aliah and she stifled a scream. Struggling to stay calm she closed her eyes and tried to control her rising panic. A little wriggle and her arm freed enough for her to push upwards, and the earth overhead give way a little. Her breathing became a little easier, but she would need fresh air soon or she would suffocate. Pressure built behind her eyes and her head throbbed, making it hard for her to think.

"Do not think you have won. The battle may be over, but I will win the war!"

'What's going on?' Seamus' voice came very close to her ear, and she realised she was lying on top of him in their dark prison.

"With your puny efforts you have merely destroyed the body of my servant, I am still very much alive."
