I don't know what sense of time fate had, but it was definitely getting on my nerves. As this wasn't the first time it was happening, I highly doubted this to be a coincidence.

'Are my shields open?' I quizzed myself with a frown, finding them to not have been opened or barged into at all. 'Then how is this possible? Tell me this is some weird dream.'

Alas, it wasn't. He was walking right towards me as we approached the dining hall from the kitchen. As I hadn't seen him in the morning, I didn't see how dashing he suddenly appeared to me.

He was in a long black coat in the exact shade of his aura. His white shirt and shiny hair seemed to stand out as he slid his hand through his dishevelled hair to push it back. His devilish face stood out more than usual, possibly because of the little light that came from the thundering skies. It was only when I got any closer that I noticed the water droplets glistening on his hair.
