~ 141: An Excuse - Part 4 ~

My head hurt from the mind collision that I never expected to happen. The surrounding space in my blank mind slowly around me started to change and show a very blurred image.

It was the same image I had seen earlier, but more clearly. It was as though I was viewing the past than the future as it seemed to be very clear like a well-known memory.

This time I wasn't looking at the person but I was the person himself. He held the same blood tainted sword and around him lay an overflowing stream of the same red liquid that dripped down from his longsword that he hid on his back.

He walked through the field of red rivers and dead bodies, whose heads and arms were severed. I gulped at the frightening sight and tried to make out whether it was due to a war or because of a massacre.

Lucius with his mask breathed out a small amount of fog due to the cold weather as his eyes gazed on the ground where the red rivers met the grey waters and turned them red.
