Disassemble

Millions of civilians around the world have been said to be in a vegetative state, with thousands among them already dead for an unknown reason.

They all had one thing in common, which is the fact that they were, of course, for some messed up reason, having a good time in a virtual world.

The new video game that every gamer had been craving for is a curse. Many individuals who couldn't get their hands on it were all thanking their stars, cause this could have been them... dead or in a coma.

The biggest mistake many loved ones did was to pull out the helmets from the heads of the victims, cus this will also kill them.

Imagine the look on Allyn's mom when she was told her son would not be waking soon, maybe never. Every member of the family was broken-hearted, and yes, that also includes Aurora.

Because she and Allyn don't get along, doesn't mean she wants him dead... guess she's not all that evil after all.

"My beautiful boy," says Hazel as she sits close to the unconscious Allyn with a helmet over his head.

Tears were actively dripping down with only amplifies ones she realizes how helpless she is.

"He'll be fine, I know that." Sawyer tried to remain strong... it was hard.

Aurora had nothing to say. She just felt lost and didn't know how to react.

Well, on the bright side, she won't have to see the annoying brother anymore, right?

"We should leave," says Sawyer.

"No, he could wake up at any time. I should stay behind." Hazel could not bring herself to walk away from her unconscious young child.

"If he wakes up, we will be informed immediately. Staying here won't be of any help,"

"How could you say that?!" she snaps, "Are you trying to say my son's life is not important?"

"He is my son too,"

"You can leave if you want to, I'll stay behind," Hazel sounds hostile, which is understandable.

*sigh* Sawyer has nothing to say to this...

"I'll stay behind," Aurora said. "You have work to do, don't worry about us. I'll make sure mom comes back home,"

"Thank you," Sawyer said and gave his daughter a warm embrace.

After so many unsuccessful attempts to break through the other walls of the human city while continuously receiving damage, the troublesome enemies left the land, leaving ruins behind. The moment their absence was detected, the city shield got extended to cover the outer walls of Foundation One.

Days passed as the city wall slowly got repaired. This wasn't a very hard job to do, thanks to the number of workers assigned to the project. The intelligent giant creatures must have been planning their attack for a long time. This is confirmed due to how the city wall got destroyed.

They must have targeted the weakest part of the wall, which made it easy on them. However, thanks to this experience, the human nation will not be taken by surprise again.

Allyn had spent most of his time adapting to his new world, which also involves getting more understanding concerning his surroundings and those outside the continent. Of course, all of this was made easy thanks to Mr. CrockFace's willingness to explain all of this to him.

It turns out human evolution is far more complicating in this world, such as the existence of Beast Men and BeastMen(2), Elves, Fairies, Goblins, Human-Giants, and many more...

Thankfully, with the help of his game system called Gamepedia, this was explained in more detail and Allyn finally got more information concerning what kind of existence he is... He is just a human, nothing special.

Beast Men are magical creatures who earn more complex intelligence that's not inferior to humans. However, their size got reduced noticeably, putting them at the same height. A splendid example of this is CrockFace himself.

Beastmen (2) is the combination of a human with an intelligent evolved Beast Man, which in turn, gave birth to a more human-like being with traces of beast features and capabilities. Elves are self-explanatory. Everyone who loves fantasies already knows what they look like. They are human-looking but with pointy ears. Though they are a few with different skin colors, I'll leave that to your imagination.

Goblins are a rare kind of evolved creature. There is nothing much to talk about them just yet... and please, don't ask me about fairies either, not yet.

Allyn still had a major quest he needed to handle. However, after upgrading his system map, it turns out these specimens are located outside the safety of the city.

"I will not to let you risk your life by venturing out of the city," says CrockFace.

"I said nothing about risking my life, but I need to earn a living," Allyn said.

"Fine, you want to earn a living? You can work for me. How about that?"

"Work for you? I do not know how to create mechanics as you do, so what's my use exactly?"

"Of course I'll train you,"

Allyn still wasn't buying this, not completely though...

"Mechanic are highly valuable and we earn more than you can imagine, plus, you don't need to spend any money to buy techs when you can create one yourself," CrockFace says and his words are very convincing.

"So, your gonna teach me all of this?" Allyn asked with a raised eyebrow. Since he chose to be a Mage, he didn't think he could also become a mechanic at the same time.

"Well, if you are interested,"

"You've got my interest,"

Congrats!!

You're now an apprentice as a Mechanical Forge Master a.k.a Mecha-ForgeMaster...

"Looks like I made the right choice," Allyn mumbles in satisfaction...

Unknown to Allyn, CrockFace has long since developed a liking for him and is trying to keep a potentially trusted mate close by, especially since he doesn't have many human friends, except for those who just want to rob him. So it's a good thing he finally found someone he could pass his specialty to, someone who isn't an AI robot... no offense.

Allyn spent most of his time underground in a quiet room. CrockFace left a lot of unused techs with him, so all he had to do is put every piece apart and then reassemble them once again.

Task completed successfully!

With every new task he completes, Allyn gained new knowledge along with blueprints that can be modified to his taste. Who knew being a technician could be this interesting?

Days became weeks and Allyn never steps outside of his comfort zone, as his knowledge kept increasing and overflowing with new ideas.

Locking himself in just happened to be his special ability, so this wasn't a problem for him…

He even took the time to give names to every AI robot that was living with him. This made it easier to identify one from the other.

Forge Mastery is a little complicating compare to just creating mechanics, so Allyn isn't very good at this, at least not completely.

Forge mastery sometimes involves the use of mana to make your creation a little more effective when utilized.

In a world where magic is a common way of life, which is the same world filled with dangerous existences. To adapt or having a better chance at surviving, especially for an adventurer such as Allyn, your weapons or instruments need to be extraordinary.

For the fusion of mana with an instrument, further instructions from Crockface are needed…

With abundant spare parts given to him by CrockFace, Allyn tried to create what he views as a better blade that, hopefully, would have a more satisfactory hit point.

Formulating a modified blueprint for his first actual creation wasn't a problem, since it's just a dagger.

In a few minutes, Allyn finished his first forge and names it 'Hunters Blade'...

HUNTER BLADE:

His creation is a disappointment, it's even lower than the basic sword handed to him. So with that realization, Allyn tosses it away.

"This is gonna take a while," he said.

It seems he needs to learn how to give his weapons a better way of inflicting damage on an opponent or he would just be wasting his time.

NOTE!

The effects of whatever you create depend on how it is created and your level of intelligence and level as a player.

"That makes sense now… I guess I have to go back to reassembling techs once again."

And with that, Allyn went back to his normal routine once again, disassembling and reassembling. He was given a special storeroom where he could neatly keep his resources for later use.

...Without realizing it, Allyn has adapted to his new life.
