Contract, Searching, and Berserk.

(Eleonora POV)

'Right after I had my meeting with Oemitsu, and Ludmila, Leitmeritz was invanded from the south. I was expecting an invasion from the north since we refused Oemitsu's ultimatum. But it never came. Apparently he is tied down in the west, with the strongest knight of Brune, Roland. My fight with Ludmila lasted for 5 days, and after those 5 days, with Tigre's help, we were able to defeat that dwarf.

Everytime I think about that, it gives me a headache. Right after I dealt with her, I returned to Brune with Tigre to finally defeat Thenardier, however, I was unable to since Elizavetta Fomina invaded Sasha's lands, claiming that Sasha's troops worked together with the pirates. She is lucky that Sasha is bedridden, if she wasn't, she wouldn't dare to invade her lands.

Oemitsu's attacks from 2 years ago injured Sasha too much, she still hasn't healed completely. Her body was always fragile. The doctors said that it was a miracle that she survived in the first place. But at least Oemitsu also suffered from that war. He lost his left eye. I swear. I will defeat Oemitsu in battle to restore Sasha's honor!'

Now, I was currently facing the Princess of the Thunder Elizavetta. Lim took control of my army while I am dealing with her. It takes a war maiden to deal with another war maiden. 'Something is not right. She is way stronger than she usually is.' I clenched the hilt of my sword.

"What happened to all that talk about defeating me?" She mocked.

"Don't boast before you have won!" I replied.

Right after saying that, I concentrated all my power into my Dragonic Tool, Arifar. "Tear asunder the air! Ley Admos!"

However, Elizavetta was also doing the same as me, and she concentrated her lightning power in her Dragonic Tool. "Fierce claws wrecking Heaven, and Earth! Gron Lazriga!"

After she used her Draconic Art, a lightning claw clashed with my ball of air, creating a huge explosion. For some reason, we had about the same strength.

"It looks like we are ev-." At this moment, Elizavetta looked at her feet, and saw that she was pushed back, unlike me.

"It isn't a draw. I have the advantage." I told her.

"I was pushed back? I guess that settles it." She said.

"Not while you still live." I was ready to dash at her but someone interrupted our fight.

"I can't have you bully Liza, can I?" Another voice said this at my side.

I turned to my left, and saw that it was Oemitsu.

"You? What are you doing here?

I thought you were fighting in the west with Roland." I inquired.

"Roland is dead, so I left my entire army in the hands of someone I trust to come here. As we speak, the west of Brune is falling into my hands." He said.

"I don't need your help in getting her head, Oemitsu." Elizavetta told him.

"Fufufufu. Is that so? What a shame, but I didn't came here to help you, I came here to end this war, and to take a vacation." He turned to her. "Is you territory, Lebus, open for tourists?"

"You can come anytime. You will be treated as a guest of honor." she said.

'I cannot let this two form an alliance. If they do, Sasha will be surrounded from both sides!' I bit my lips before I told them. "I can't allow such thing to happen! Forming an alliance with a King of another country is the same thing as betraying our King, Elizavetta!"

"No one talked about an alliance. I am just guiding the King on a trip." She innocently said.

"Don't you have more important things to worry about, Elen?" Oemitsu asked me.

"I didn't give you permission to call me elen." I told him.

"Elen, Muozinel is marching into Brune. With Duke Thernadier and Duke Ganelon fighting between each other, the only force that can stand up to them in the south is Tigre. Him and his 2,000 soldiers are fighting more than 40,000 soldiers. You want both our heads feel free to keep fighting. But let's just say that by some miracle you manage to kill me, which is impossible, and Liza in the next 3 days, then you would have to march your army all the way to the south of Brune." He explained.

'If I leave now, Sasha will die...

I have to choose between Tigre, or Sasha.' I gritted my teeth.

"I want you both to seal a contract. It is a non-agression pact between both of you, for at least 6 months." He said.

"Under one condition. She has to apologise to Sasha." I pointed at Elizavtta.

I saw a surprised expression on Oemitsu's face.

"You didn't include me on that? After all, I was the one who hurt her the most." He said.

"I will make you apologise with your head on the ground when I defeat you in battle." I squinted.

"I am looking forward to it." He said, flaring his killing intent, which was really really thick for a 14 year old boy to have. Then he turned to Elizavetta. "So, Liza do you accept?"

"Very well." She said.

"An honest, and sincere apology!" I demanded.

"I get it, I get it."

(Koukai POV)

'I'm currently in the mountainous terrains of the south

of Brune. My objective is retrieving the Princess that "died" during the battle of Dinant Plains. The King allowed her to leave his lands to lead her first campaign, and in the end, she got defeated, and went missing. I still don't understand why my King allowed the Brune soldiers to go through his land to invade Zhcted. In the end, it was a massacre, and 25,000 soldiers were lost, and the princess disappeared in that battle.

It is crucial for my King to have the Princess. If he can get his hands on her, and find a way to prove that she is the daughter of the King, then he can install a puppet on the throne. This is a classified mission that only me, and 300 sisters of mine were allowed to participate in.' After walking for a bit more, I ciuld see it over the horizon. The 40,000 soldiers from Muozinel that were marching.

'It is quite a sight watching them all march. However, I can see it. They don't compare to the soldiers of my King. They are not as organised, and they spread out to loot everything they see, instead of keeping order first in the conquered cities, they loot, and then worry about such things. If they were on our army, they would have been beheaded by the King himself.' I disguted such action before I turned to my 300 sisters.

Seeing that all of them were on horseback. 'Normally, charging with 300 soldiers against an army of 40,000 is suicide. But the thing is, we are not normal soldiers. The problem is identifying that damn Princess. They have at least 3,000 captives/slaves and Princess Regin is in between them.

We had her before since she is Shiro-sama's slave. Everyone could hear her screams from the Shiro's room. While the King was having fun with Machi, she took her frustrations out on Regin. After some time she became completely domesticated, now the problem is finding her.' As I pondered, one of my sisters approached me.

"We have spotted 10 identical matches to our target."

"Can we narrow it down?" I asked.

"It will be difficult. We have searched most of the captives from afar, however, seeing it in detail will require us to get closer, and we might get spotted." She said.

"This is a mission entrusted to us by the King. In the middle of the night we will act. Infiltrate their ranks, and find that damn Princess." I told her.

"It shall be done."

(Oemitsu Pov)

I was currently riding with Liza, she is guiding me to her territory, Lebus. When I turned my head, I saw a small village that was located close to the Valta river. "I want to see something." I told her.

"What is so interesting about a village in the middle of nowhere? If we keep going we will reach Lebus in 4 hours." She said.

"Let your soldiers get some rest, after all, they have been fighting with Eleonora's army, and they still haven't gotten proper rest." I told her.

"Don't underestimate my soldiers. They can keep marching if I order them to do so." She said.

"Fufufufu. Is that so?" I asked. 'This reminds me of when I fought Elen in the war againts Zhcted. I defeated her army by simply marching. Armies in this world are normally composed of multiple noble's private armies, they usually choose a rendezvous point where they all group up, and a commander is chosen. In Zhcted's case, normally that is a Vanadis. I did something that broke them. I divided my army into 5. With each General leading each division, and these divisions would march through the land, attacking the armies before they can group up.

Just like Napoleon did to the Austrians. I defeated them by simply marching. Elen must have gotten quite frustrated.' I smirked.

"What is the Zhcted navy doing here? No, that is not right. Those are pirate ships." Liza said.

"So, they are here." I said.

"Reorganise our army! Get the cavalry ready, we are going to charge before they can reach the village!" She exclaimed.

Suddenly, her aid, Naum, approached us. "The troops are exhausted, please let them rest for a little."

"If I let them rest, then the pirates are going to loot the village!"

"Hold your horses! You see, these pirates raid anything within the coast, they have also been been raiding my settlements, and that is why I created certain countermeasures." The pirates landed on the ground with their warships supporting their transports, they are not normal pirates.

It is obvious that they are supported by someone with power, such discipline and organisation is something that pirates normally don't have. I could see that the transports landed on the beach.

"I need to stop them." She commented.

"Wait, they should be here any minute." I told her.

"If I wait, the entire village is going to be massacred!" As soon as she said that, 15 another ships appeared on the horizon.

"They are here. It took them long enough." I told her.

We could see 14 warships and a massive metal beast of a ship leading them all.

"That flag... it's the flag of your country. But how did you know they would raid here?" She inquired.

"Spies..." Naum said.

"Just how many spies do you have?"

"I have eyes, and ears everywhere."

'Kyoukai spent 3 years building a spy network in all of the countries. Some spies even have political influence. The only place that she had trouble in infiltrating is Muozinel. Asvarre, Sachstein, Brune and Zhcted every single one of these Kingdoms has spies within their ranks. Even the pirates have spies within them. I also know who is the one supporting them behind the scenes.'

"It isn't enough ships. There are 15 ships. It doesn't matter how big they are, they cannot win against 50 ships led by pirates. Pirates may be weak on land, however, they are unstoppable in the sea." Liza said

"Is that so?"

Soon enough, the pirates's warships sailed in the direction of my 15 warships. They charged head on with their rams in front, intenting to hit my ships. You could see the pirates getting ready to board the enemy ships. In this world, Naval warfare is fought using 2 simple tactics. First, get close with the enemy vessel, secure the two ships together using grappling hooks, then board and fight it out at close quarters. Or they would ram the enemy vessel to disable and sink it.

They had the tide with them, so the pirates had the advantage not only in terrain but also in the numbers. However, my ships did something unexpected. They turned sideways, unlike most ships my ships were covered in metal, and had spikes on top. They were inspired on the Korean turtle ships, the biggest one, the flagship, was the biggest of them all.

It was made entirely of steal. It has 100 meters of length, it is a complete beast.

"What is your navy doing? They are going to get rammed! They are going to be annihilated!" Liza exclaimed.

Small little holes could be seen on the ships.

*Boom*. *Boom*. *Boom*.

A sound that shook the ground, could be heard from miles away. The pirate ships were either burning or sinking before they could even come close my ships.

"What is going on?" Liza was stunned.

Right after the first barrage, the second barrage started.

*Boom*. *Boom*. *Boom*.

'Cannons. I implemented cannons on my ships.' I smiled.

Soon enough, the entire pirate navy was turning around completely routed. However, the tide was working against them. If they tried to turn backwards, the wind would push their ships back, slowing down their escape. The perfect weather conditions were now working against them.

"What am I watching?" She still haven't gotten out of her stun.

The biggest ship turned, and headed straight to give chase to the rest of the pirates. Three pirate ships turned, trying to destroy the flagship, however, the flagship simply barraged them again. 'That beauty has cannons on the front, back, and the sides. Making it impossible to sink her... at least using normal means.'

"What is that beast made of steel?" She asked.

"That is the Bismarck. The first ship of its class." I proudly stated.

"You are planning on building more? That thing alone is powerful enough to sink the navy of Zhcted!" She exclaimed.

"I plan to build at least 5 more in the following 5 years." I shrugged. 'That is a lie. Building one of those is expensive, especially creating the gunpowder to feed the cannons.' After that, my navy destroyed the transports that the pirates used to land, now they were in enemy territory without any way to retreat.

I turned to Liza. "Are you going to let those pirates do as they wish with the village? Now that they have seen that their escape route has been cut off, they will try to get revenge... probably by massacring the village."

"All of the troops are ready to charge." Naum said.

"Charge! Kill those bastards!" Right after her order, her cavalry charged into the pirates.

They smashed through them. The pirates are strong at sea, however, in land, they are pathetic. I could see that Liza's powers were increasing more, and more. With each hit, she is killing at least 10 soldiers with her whip. 'This isn't normal. As I expected that witch is on this lands. It looks like it will take more time to go back home than I expected. Shiro will be mad at me. Shiro was a little sad since she lost her pet, but I am sure that Kyoukai will get the job done. I shouldn't have let Regin go on her first campaign. I already knew the result. But it was necessary. Now the King isn't a threat anymore, and now I can rule Brune. The west of Brune has already fallen, now I just need Muozinel to conquer the south so that i can "liberate it", and take it for myself.' While I pondered, Liza was killing more, and more pirates. "Liza... soon enough you will be mine."
