Princess Joan for one is wanted dead or alive by every supernatural clan on earth (witches, werewolves, vampires and lastyl heretics) for fear of what she might become and for greed of power. 

 It is true that being an heretic comes with such great dark powers but it was also a myth that a pure heart will be able manifest with these powers and the world will still be safe. No one is willing to give her chance to prover herself worthy accept one man.... 



Lucas also an abomination but of a more rare type swore an oath to Princess Joan to keep her safe even at the cost of his life without having a full knowledge of what he was about to go into. 

With time his loyalty will be tested and things became more difficult when he began to discover some truth about himself. He may have started his life as soldier but things will change when royal blood was identified in him. It was at this point that the guardian himself also needed someone else to keep him safe. 



with the politics for the throne still a deciding factor in what fate holds for them, how the world will also accept two royal supernatural abominations is still yet to be seen.

A Love Between Claws and Blood

The king dismissed everyone while telling Lord Barak and Great grand commander Zacki was asked to wait behind so they discus some other matters. 


Lady Morgan was carried to the official residence of her husband same building as the king's palace. It was a tradition that the minister of war and strategy doesn't stay far from on the king as it is his duty to protect the king  in times of any security breach. 


Princess Joan and Lucas followed behind as they both needed to speak to her. 


Joan for one didn't want to miss the opportunity to speak to Lucas mother as it was the one way she could know more about him. She was impressed with the way Lucas stood up for his mother but she didn't like the fact she was left in the dark before it happened. So she took out with him as they walked to Lady Morgan's place for the house arrest


"I really admire what you did for your mother back  there" Joan stated as they walked with Lucas right behind her. 


"Thank you My princess", Lucas replied bowing slightly. He knew princess Joan saved his life by speaking up else he would have been hanging for trying to defy the king. 


"Next time something like this wants to happen make sure to give me an heads up so I really know how to compose my self. You made me confront my father indirectly back then at the king's court. It is something I have never done probably why my father listened to me" Joan warned him. 


"Thank you my princess it will never happen again" Lucas assured her. 


"It shouldn't happen again please" she instructed him. 


"I was completely furious with your father, how will he openly acknowledge that your mother is at fault and should be sent to jail. He didn't even say anything about the disappearance of your brother. What is his problem?" Princess Joan asked in anger. 


"Well I don't blame him, as the great grand commander his duty was first always to the king before his family. He was torn in between the two and decided to choose his duty rather than his wife. I should also inform you my father doesn't really care about us his adopted children. He feels we are a competition to his biological children" Lucas tried to explain to the princess. 


"I don't understand what you just said right now" Princess Joan objected with a frown on her face. 


"Biologically Lady Morgana have two male children with Great grand commander Zacki. she refuse giving birth to another saying she was born a soldier and not a birth giver. That's when she started adopting babies left on the borders. We were three in total that she adopted that's why I said I have two other  brothers because they are the only ones who treated me as a brother. Great grand commander Zacki and his other two biological sons have never liked us so they treat us with distain. That's why my mother  enrolled us in the military school right for when we were little. She didn't want us to be oppressed by anyone. "


"My other brothers join the military school ten years after us, and our father expects us to be on the same level? Not possible that's why he doesn't care about us. I will have to find Luca on my own' Lucas stated thinking of how he was going to that and still maintain the safety of Joan. 


"I know you are thinking about how you will do that, and keep me safe at the same time" Joan stated with a smile on her face reading his exact thought. 


"Don't worry we will think of way out together, for now we should speak to your mother first."
