With time his loyalty will be tested and things became more difficult when he began to discover some truth about himself. He may have started his life as soldier but things will change when royal blood was identified in him. It was at this point that the guardian himself also needed someone else to keep him safe.

A Love Between Claws and Blood

Immediately Princess Joan knew her father was around she decided to stand up against Lucas'advice. She desperately wanted an answer from him about the absence of her mother. And she thought what better time than when both her father and aunty were both in one place.

"Joan please I don't think Princess Freya wants you outside. She must have a strong reason for keeping you here" Lucas protested hoping she will listen to him.

"How long will I have to hide? I can't stay here for ever besides my continuous absence will make rumors stronger" Joan replied moving outside with Lucas walking behind her to see her father and Queen Veronica still exchanging words with King Atkinson.

Just as Freya was telling King Atkinson that Joan was still asleep and didn't want any disturbance that's when she showed up. Instantly she regretted not listening to Lucas because she just made her aunt look like a liar in front of the king.
