With time his loyalty will be tested and things became more difficult when he began to discover some truth about himself. He may have started his life as soldier but things will change when royal blood was identified in him. It was at this point that the guardian himself also needed someone else to keep him safe.

A Love Between Claws and Blood

Immediately the king was sure some amount of time had passed he headed straight for Lord Barak's court with a lot on his mind. He didn't want to believe his friend would be planning to betray him.

The private guards on see in the king wanted to announce his presence but he gestured to them to keep quiet as he wanted to surprise his friend. Although they have been very good friends, the king is hardly ever seen visiting him or any of his other officials in their quarters.

"Inform Lord Barak Quietly of my presence" King Atkinson ordered the guards as one of them quicky rushed into the court to inform Lord Barak about the presence of the king.

Immediately Lord Barak rushed outside with a look of surprise on his face. It was obvious he wasn't expecting the king especially some minutes after the Queen had also visited.

"My king, the king of king, I salute you."

Lord Barak greeted the king while bowing deeply.
