A Love Between Claws and Blood

Joan was already upset waiting. Since they arrived at the court of the palace they have been waiting for over thirty minutes for the Queen to come out. She knew very well she had been informed of their presence but was possibly testing their patience. She looked across to Rafinah who she had almost forgotten due to recent discoveries and development. She could tell Rafinah was very nervous. It wasn't obviously what they signed for while coming here. They were hoping to come quietly get her mother and possibly leave quietly. But now that plan had been scattered with their presence being needed in the palace. She could only hope that this family reunion will be good.
