To dinner

The King arises before us with a smile on his face.

“What an exhilarating match; the victor's reward for this match will be back in his room. But, to the one who lost, since mercy was shown, he is free to go. I will leave you to the nurse for aid.” He announces happily.

He sits, and we leave as we came in, but I stopped at the top of the stairs. I'm stopped because before me was the angle.

“What are you doing here? Can anyone even see you?” I ask franticly

She smiles up at me.

“I just stopped by to tell you I told you so and to see this Elaina girl you keep telling me about.” She tells me with a little bit of mischievousness.

She then turns and vanishes into the crowd. As I watch her walk away, I shake a bit and notice I'm losing a lot of blood. This is strange, considering I should be healing by now. I stumble my way past the garden reaching eventually making my way to the nurse. As she's looking me over, I ask.
