PROLOGUE-2

"Are you okay? Do you want me to buy you? I mean clothes?" I saw his slight smile making me closed my eyes in regret. Why do I always fail on what I say when it comes to him ?!

"Still like that? Hm, I'm fine don't mind, I have mine at the office." I nod and look at him for the last time. I'm about to talk again but a student calls him.

"Sir Covell!!" A teenage girl came over having a big smile on her lips. "Ahh, here our- are you okay?!" She shockingly said, reviewing Gab.

"Do I permitted you to formally talk to me? And also your language, we have an etiquette inside and outside my class right?" I bit my lip to stop myself to smile. He looks so passionate about what he's doing. I hope me too.

"Ahh, hehe, sorry, Sir, also for the late submission, here's our paper." She handed it to Gabriel before leaving, having an embarrassed faced. I stifle my laugh when he irritably looks away.

"What? Do you need something to me?" I chuckle before tapping his shoulders. My smile suddenly fades as soon I overlap him. I sighed walking in the corridor. I knocked first at the door before entering.

"Owww, I.. HA HA HA! Come have a seat." I smirk at him before sitting on the sofa. "You slipped in my mind. Anyway here." My brows rose opening the brown envelope he gave me.

"How are you? You look more gorgeous, Cy." I wince at him after calling me on my second name.

"I'm fine Tito, Audric still taking care of me," I said with a small smile. I reviewed the paper inside the envelope. He gave me a coffee putting it on the coffee table in front.

"What is this?" I asked moving the pages one by one. it looks like a defense paper! I can even recognize these papers came from by just glancing at the signature. Freak.

"A request. I guess, Maam?" I seriously look at Gabriel who just entered the room. My looks went down on his shirt.

"He said he brought an extra shirt, but he didn't change first. Trying to make me guilty?" I whispered to my self looking again at the papers details just to avert my gaze on him. He doesn't even get a smell of coffee, his masculine perfume always that... strong.

"Ahh, something... nothing, just spilled coffee." He answered Tito and sat down in front of me. They even talked as I read what was written in the papers.

"So, what's the sense of having another building?" I asked not even glancing at him. The university is bigger than it was, yet he still requesting another building? Is it okay if he will pay for it, but of course he won't.

"Didn't read it all, Maam?" My brows met harshly putting down the papers making a noise. I gave him a glare crossing my legs and my arm. "Joke. Yes, As I said in the form, students ask me if we can request to have another building for secondary and college so that we'll not have a pm class. Hassle not only for us, teachers but also for the students." He informative said but it didn't change my mind a bit.

"Well, you're the one who set the university open for the public. What do you expect? To loose the students?" He added like we were that close. I wonder, Is that how he usually rude? I even think of it twice. He's not unless he's mad or annoyed with the person. I hate him too, we're just the same.

"And? Are you done?" I sarcastically said mocking him. He licked his lips poking his tongue on his cheek inside like his temper is getting empty because of me. He leans at the sofa before nodding. "Who are you to ask for a new building brazenly?" I rolled my eyes on his grimace.

"Josseph Gabriel Covell, Maam." I scoffed, wow, he's talking to me like that? To me?! Really?! He's like my crush who dumped me. Or should I say the one who ghosted me? Ghost from the past is suiting him better.

"Oww, should I kick your role out in this university? Huh?" He arched his brow, a goofy smirk plastered on his lips making me more irritated!

"HA HA HA! Chill my sweetest niece," I mocked him harshly leans my back at the sofa. "He's the guidance counselor, and also the best English lit lecturer. He's our ace actually." Tito, proudly said, tapping Gabriel's shoulder, making me roll my eyes.

"I don't care. Pay for what you're asking. I'm not your guardian to support you." I sarcastically added. "I thought he's now the owner of this school." I murmured. I dont like him. The WHOLE him.

"Come on Louize." My face got bare when he called me by my first name. Were not even that close for him to be formal.

"If you're not approving on this because of me, don't. Just do it for the kids." I seated properly still waiting for him to convince me to build a new hall. "Seems like we didnt coordinated." I scoffed sarcastically.

"You're unbelievable." I stupefying said at him. Yes, we have been together. He was my fiancé. I was so in love with him to the point I forgot myself. I was so focused on him back then but end up hurting myself too. We were together for years, But I gave him a reason to pursue his dreams than to stay with me. That was his plan in the first place,

Leaving me.
