Spy?

Now I'm jealous to a tiny cat.

"I can take care of her." I said without even thinking.

"What? Really??" The kid seems excited making me smile naturally. "She have a very nice breed. She'll glow if someone will take care of her full time."

"I look after her. Can I have her?" Again I asked her then she nod at me wearing a big smile. She really look excited and happy on what I offered.

"Of course, ate." My smiled almost fade when she call me 'Ate'. I loved hearing that word from kids, especially the one's who had no one but the orphanage. "Wait, let's wrap her up in the hanky, so she won't move too much, you might got scar form her nails." She covered the cat on her handkerchief before handling it to me.

"Thank you." I said to her before standing up. I carefully holds the kitten so she won't attack me. She's crying but the kid tell me that it's fine and normal. I said my Good bye to her before putting the cat in an empty tissue box I had in my car. I was about to get in when she calls me.

"Uhm, how should I call you?" I caught off guard. I was froze on where am I. And then I cleared my throat glancing at her, now can't look straight to the kid..

"Cy. Just call me Cy." It was my second name and a nickname. A sighed escape from my lips before I hop inside my car. She waved at me when I beep at her as good bye. I went first to the vet so the kitty will be treated first.

"Yeah, can I pick her up tomorrow morning? Is that fine?" I poke lightly the nose of the pet before smiling.

"That can do. Its fine." The vet said before handing me a clipboard that I need to sign and fill up. After doing those I told the doctor that I'll be back tomorrow in the morning.

"Should I gave her a name?" I scoffed shooking my head. Just when did I end up having a cat? I chuckles before entering the elevator. I put down my bag at the sofa finding some extra pillow and blanket at the cabinet inside mom's room.

"She's growing so fast, Mom." I said holding her hand. I rest my head on the pillow looking at her. "And I was not there in all her achievements." I bit my lip my tears started pooling in my eyes. "I miss her." I slept for hours waking up early in the morning because of the nurse who checks my Mom. I decided to eat at the convenience store near the hospital so that's what I did. After eating I went straight at the bay walk so I can watch the sunrise.

"I wish I was you." I said in the absence looking at the sun. "You can isolate every time you need to, and just came back shining brightly." I sighed sipping on my coffee, resting my chin against my knee. When I decided to go home I went first to the vet so I can take home Aila. I named her that because of her eyes.

"Just feed her with this. Mixed it in her milk instead." I nod at the doctor giving some advices and things. The vet said that the cat had a very nice breed which is ragdoll, that amaze me, it was rare to find a stray cat having that breed here in PH. I also bought some stuff for the kitten so she won't sleep at my bed. I might compress her, I was a messy sleeper. That was Audric said.

"Hello, I'm your mom." I chuckles holding Aila using the both of my hands. She's so small like a toy, cutie. I take a picture of her playing a fur ball and posted it on my ig story with a caption "Advice to be a good fur parent?" Rayze was the first one who replied. She gave me a lot of advice such as don't leave her alone, give her a lot of time so she won't wreck things and others like those. My other mutuals also replied like Gabriel.

I rolled my eyes sending an emojie rolling it's eyes. He just send a laugh message but I left it in seen mark. I mean what I supposed to reply on "HAHAHAHHAHA'? 'HAHAHA' too?

I have much time to waste so I cleaned first my room setting up where I can place Aila's bed. I decided to put it at the corner near the sliding door of the balcony attaching a lamp on its top so she wont feel alone when I turn off my lights. I put her beside me caressing her small body. She's playing with my hand attacking it using her small teeth. I giggles giving her a head kiss. I look at my hand noticing something.

"Shit. Where is it?" I got panicked when I didn't find the ring my Mom gave me years before he got unconscious. The room I organized and clean a while ago scattered again. I am bothered as hell! It took me time looking all around just to find the damn ring!

"When did I lost it? Am I wearing it before? While I'm cleaning??" I held my head in frustration, massaging my brows. Fuck. That was the only recent gift my mom left me. Stupid, Louize. I had the urge to break down and just fell asleep after. I woke up late midnight. My eyes hurt after crying and doze to sleep. I ate a simple salad before laying at my bed again, looking at my hand.

Aila rest on my belly that's why I change my position and caressed her. I doze off sleep again maybe because of tiredness. I just went out early in the morning and just request at the maid to look after Aila, so they can feed her when I'm out. I wear a caramel longs sleeve dress tucked in my pants partner with my usual white shoes.

"Hi!" I glance at my block mate, Aaron, Rayze friend. I gave him a nod and small smile. He keeps on catching up on my pace so I slowed down a bit. "Have you eaten breakfast yet?" My brows furrow a little before nodding. I didn't actually have breakfast.

My body, soul and mind hate being under that roof for too long.

"I'm going to Bloemen. Want to join?" I look at him brows furrows. Bloemen is one of our cafeteria, it's far from our building but it was the only cafe that not crowded. "You don't want? Doesn't like it there? Okeh." He dramatically held his chest like he was in pain. I chuckles shooking my head. I just didn't know what's up with him and invited me to join him to eat breakfast. It was still early before our class so I went with him

"Is this your treat or kkb?" I asked looking at the menu so I can order.

"Sure. I mean it's up to your trip?" He canningly smiled at me making me shook my head. I said that it was fine and I can pay for my food but he insists so I just let him. He put a bottled water before seating in front me.

"You doesn't have any friends inside the campus, right?" I look up on him chewing my food. "You're alone all the time. I mean you're joining Rayze 'occasionally'."

"I just don't need some. I have my self." I sneer before finishing my food. The food on my plate was running low so I quickly finished it and, were getting late at the class. We'll probably going to use stairs at this hour.

"Can I apply? Should I ready my papers?" I choked on what he said! He handed me the water so I drink it. What the hell is wrong with this guy? I'm in my second year now, and we've known each other from those past years but he never approached me, now he's asking me to be my friend? How... nice.

"No." I simply answered taking a deep breath. "You can't. Having a meal with me is a big danger for you." I rolled my eyes wiping my mouth.

"Ahh, Zaludes." I was shock to hear it on someone inside the campus! I look at him with wide eyes, he just looking down and tried to eat what was on his plate. "Sorry."

"When did you find it out?" My heart was beating so fast like it was going to get out of my rib cage. Oh my god. I hope he didn't tell anyone about my identity. They might look at me like a trash! I'm not my damn father!

"It just happened that were in the same party last year. Do not worry. Your dad can't hurt me. You and I are just the same." He look at my eyes with pain in his. My eyebrows met and I tried to wonder when it was and who he was. Maybe he's a son of my dad's business partner or something. After class I tried hard not to run into him but he just keep on showing out of nowhere!

"Stop avoiding me anymore. I'm not a spy. I told you, were in the same shoes."
