CHAPTER XVII:THE ARCADE QUEEN

Shiloh's POV,

Everyone seems like they are standing at the edge of an iceberg because of how competitive these twins in every game here in the arcade.

They already look intimidating!!

Even Hiro acts like a child most of the time. If you don't know him and see him being serious like this. It'll make you think that he is a scary person.

"When will they stop playing..?" I heard someone whisper.

I can feel how much the twins created an overwhelming tension to the people in here. As if their presence dominates the whole place. As much as they want to have their turn to play, they can't tell them because they are threatened by the twins.

I understand about Eury but she's a nice person...

And in Hiro's case...?

If only they knew how a crackhead person he is...

"HA!! SEE THAT, EURY?!! I KILLED 150 ZOMBIES!!"Hiro proudly brags to his twin sister. Eury didn't respond because she is still busy shooting zombies on her screen.

We both look at her while playing seriously. Her stance, while she's shooting zombies, looks very professional as if she's a real thing.

"YOU-YOU'RE NOT STILL DONE?!!" Hiro can't believe that his sister is beating him already on the game.

We look at the number of kills and it shows that she already killed...

"478!!!" Hiro and I both said in shock.

Eury is sometimes scary...

The screen shows that she has finally completed the level. Now she can proceed to the final boss.

"YOU REACHED THE FINAL BOSS LEVEL?!!" Hiro exclaimed.

Eury didn't respond and focus again on the game.

The final boss reveals itself on the screen. It looks so overpowered. Compared to the zombies she has been killing the previous level, this zombie is 200 times bigger and more buffer than them. If this is real life I am sure Eury will be crushed to death in an instant.

No!!! I won't ever let that happeeeennnnn to myyyyy loveeee!!!

While I am miserably weeping because of what I just imagined about Eury. The machine abruptly plays the music indicating that Eury successfully killed the final boss and cleared the game.

"EHHH?!!!" Hiro is having a mental breakdown because he lost in a game to his sister.

Eury just gives him a victorious smirk while watching her twin brother suffers from his defeat.

They are twins but not exactly...

Eury then looks at me. "What do you want to play, Shiloh?" She asks me.

"Ah-hahaha nothing!! I already enjoyed watching you two..." I awkwardly say to her. But it's true that I already had enough fun just by watching her.

Her forehead creases as if she isn't going to buy what I just said to her. She then grabs my arm to go somewhere.

"OI!! WAIT FOR MEEE!!!" Hiro says while catching up with us.

She's holding my hand now. Her hand is so soft like cotton. Is this a touch of heaven? God, thank you for this blessing.

But it didn't take too long because the arcade is only a small place. We stopped in front of a claw machine.

She inserted a coin in there to start. "Pick whatever you want." She demanded me.

At first, I didn't get what she said, or more like it didn't instantly process in my mind.

"Eh??" I dumbfounded ask her again while pointing myself.

She just coldly looks at me then nods her head.

Why do I feel like I am getting scold by her but at the same time she's doing something sweet for me?

"SHILOH?!!BUT WHAT ABOUT ME SIS?!! WON'T YOU ASK ABOUT ME?!!" Hiro abruptly interrupts.

His twin sister only gave him a death glare that sends shivers down our spine.

Eury's glares are the scariest.

"Ah-hahaha I-I don't-" I am already stuttering then Eury cuts me off.

"I want to thank you for bringing me here...I enjoyed..." She hardly says to me then I can see her slightly blushing.

She's...She's giving me a reason again to hope!!!

"Ah-I want that one cute cat stuff toy!!" I pointed to the grumpy-looking cat stuff toy."It looks like you haha-oh.." I immediately stop when I realize that it's rude.

"Pfft." She unexpectedly laughs but I can only scarcely hear it. "Really?" then she smiles.

She's so cuteeeeeeee!!!

She returns focusing on the claw machine again. Her concentration on getting the stuffed toy from the very corner of the machine is admirable. I can only focus my eyes on her beautiful face.

Her forehead creased. You can also see the irritation on her face because the stuffed toy keeps on falling whenever she thought she finally gets it. She's biting her lower thin red lips because of frustration.

I haven't seen her get frustrated over something other than her twin brother. Although this side of her is also cute and I want to see more of it.

"Tss..." I can sense the hint of frustration already from her voice.

She continues inserting more coins to get the stuffed toy from the inside.

"Tss... This machine is a cheater!!!" She says as she hisses in annoyance.

She already spends all our tokens for a claw machine only.

"Yah! Hiro, go buy me more tokens." She says ordering her twin brother.

"Eh?! Don't tell me you will spend your whole money over a simple stuffed toy?! You said before to me that this claw machine is only a scam!! So why are you making an effort to get a prize from that!!" Hiro says in disbelief to his twin sister but his sister just ignores him.

She gives him a death glare. "Well, starting today I will end this machine's wickedness!! I will take out that stupid cat inside that prison!!" Eury surprisingly says. It's so not like her.

I didn't know that she will get so annoyed by a claw machine...

Hiro has no choice but to follow his twin sister. He came back with a bag of tokens. We just let her spends all the tokens on the claw machine even though we already know that this is hopeless.

But Eury is a strong-willed person. She still didn't give up till she can spend all her tokens. Slowly the people inside the arcade begin to watch and gather around her because of how determined she is to get the stuffed toy from the machine.

She inserts her 154th token in the machine then attempts again to get the stuffed toy. Everyone in here watches her carefully. The claw clutches the stuffed toy. This time it didn't fall. Finally, she successfully gets the stuffed toy!!

"YEHEYYY!!!!" Everyone and even strangers who just passing by here cheer for her in rejoice.

She looks very happy as she takes off the stuffed toy from the machine. She heartily holds it and looks at it very proud after the struggle that she has been through just to get it.

I only smile looking at her this happy.

She then looks at me while grinning."I FINALLY GOT IT!!" Then she waves the stuffed toy to show it to me.

"Yes, you did!!" Then I give her a thumbs up. She comes closer to me then gives the stuffed toy to me.

I look at her surprised and confused at the same time."I had a hard time getting that so don't you dare not accept it." She firmly tells me. Leaving me with no choice, I accept the stuffed toy given by her.

As much as I want to refuse it...

I am also very happy to receive it because it's from my crush!!

I want to shout it to the whole world

Everyone!! My crush gave me a gift that she worked very hard!!!!
