    Every day is a new fight. Struggle is all we really know anymore. The world was leading up to an inevitable global war with clashing ideals and ideologies. So instead of fighting it, the U.S. government made a virus to attack its enemies with. It would turn everyone above the age of 21 into mindless man eating savages. It would do this by attacking certain chemicals in the brain that haven’t developed in most young people yet. Thus eliminating the country from contention. The U.S. would win when this virus, until it was betrayed by the leading scientist and got released across the globe instead. 
Join James, Penelope, Mavis, and Marcus as they try to lead their groups to survival after in this apocalyptic world they live in.

the end of it all

"The name is James, I lead a group of survivors in the River Hills Mall. It's quite honestly kind of a struggle keeping the group together, and fed, aaand happy as well. We're all slowly kind of going crazy in this post-apocalyptic world we find ourselves in. But we're still alive, and I plan on keeping us that way. We haven't lost someone in over a month now. That's um that's pretty good in my opinion." Says James sarcastically. 


Penelope walks in. "Are you still trying to record your daily life? I wish you'd stop wasting electricity charging the battery of that camera." Said Penelope. 


"Well I don't think it's going to waste at all. Someone has to document the hell we live in right now, and someone's got to document the valiant hero who lead people out of the hell and back into civilization." Said James humorously. 


"Oh and you think that's you hotshot? Please, we can barely keep this ragtag bunch organized and fed." Laughed Penelope. James switches the camera off. 


"Well now I have to learn how to edit things out, can't let the world see my co-leader doubting my skills in leadership." Said James. 


"Anyways, we're getting pretty low on food, and it's your turn to lead a scavenging party out. I was looking on the map, and there's a small Hyvee near the river that might still have plenty of canned goods in it. If there's enough of a haul, you could even take the truck and bring back around a weeks' worth. It's only about 3 miles out, so it should be a pretty easy haul. Also if you could, there's a gas station at Hyvee as well if you could get some more for us." Explained Penelope. 


"Hmm, who should I take this time? I'd like to get more people involved than usual." Said James. 


"I know Spike has been pretty eager to go. Sierra is pretty fast and smart, so she'd be a good option. Then I'd say lee, so you have at least one person who knows the basics of it pretty well." Explained Penelope. 


"Alright I'll go round them up then. Thanks for letting me know by the way, I've been kind of itching to out again." Said James. 


"It'll always be my job to." Said Penelope.


A few minute later, James is in front of Lee, Sierra, and Spike. "Alright guys, our target is a Hyvee near the river. We're taking the truck because we're expecting a good load of canned goods. So be prepared for a good chunk of heavy lifting." Explained James. 


"Are we going to fight any savages?" Asked Spike. 


"I'm hoping we don't, it's never easy fighting those things off. They're usually pretty strong Spike." Said Lee. 


"Pssht, they won't be a problem for me. A few good knocks to the head will surely take them down." Said Spike. 


"Spike just remember not to fight them alone. If you can call for help then do it. They're still just as strong as they were when they were alive. We've lost a few people that let pride get in the way. Michael thought he could take three of them himself and ended up dying before he could take down even one of them." Explained James.
