With barely a redness remaining to acknowledge the laceration that cut through Noe's arm, Noe's Ephrene energy tumbles out of him like never before. Perplexed, Daniel's eyes drift onto Noe in wonder, stunned curiosity, and worry.

Initially, Daniel thought of Noe's energy as powerful but, now, seeing Noe's rapid healing capabilities and the degree to which Noe was connected to the roots of his powers in the cafeteria, Daniel may as well be staring at the Prince that the prophecy foretold five millennia ago.

The stable rise and fall of Noe's chest calms Daniel down.

Gently shaking his head, a smile plays across Daniel's face and he turns around to leave. Noe will be fine without him.

A weak hand wraps around the tips of Daniel's fingers. Noe wants Daniel to stay.

Daniel winces from the pain of the hand's heat.

Sliding out from Noe's grasp, Daniel brings a stool beside Noe's bed across the small cubicle.
