Awakening

The boy was startled from his dream and was sweaty all over in his bed. He was breathing heavily and loudly, as if he had just sprinted ten kilometers in a row. As he was sitting up, there was a knock on the door of his room and a voice that the boy was familiar with told the boy that his parents were waiting for him at breakfast.

He took a quick shower to get the gross smell of sweat off his body. While he was showering, he was also thinking about his dream. This dream was not unknown to him, because for the last ten years he had had it very often, it wasn't always the same, but he was always on the huge green meadow, without knowing why he always dreamed about it, at some point he didn't care about the dreams more.

When he had finished showering, he examined his muscled body, which was still rather thin in the mirror. He personally would describe himself as athletic.

After he was done with it, he went to get dressed. Due to the special occasion today, he put on an expensive designer suit that was perfectly fitted to his body.

He took one last look at himself in the mirror before going to breakfast and he thought he'd gotten really tall and handsome in the last few years. He was 184 centimeters tall at the moment, which was quite tall for his age. He had dark blue, almost black hair, which with his features and deep golden eyes make a perfect overall picture.

When he finally arrived at breakfast, his mother greeted him:

"Finally, see you Arthur, we've already started, because it took you so long."

Looking innocent, Arthur sat down with them at the breakfast table.

"Excited already?"

His father asked him, because today was the day when he will awaken his mana attributes. His father explained that every child gets their attributes awakened the day before their sixteenth birthday and since Arthur turns sixteen tomorrow the ceremony for him is today.

"But you don't have to be afraid, since your mana sensitivity is very high, we are sure that you will awaken one great attribute, maybe even several."

Because as his father explained it is possible to awaken different attributes. Attributes are made up of different elements, for example fire, water or air can be awakened, like a large part of the population, or a special kind of basic element, such as ice or the blue flame, which is much hotter than the normal Flame and is therefore also stronger. There is also the category nature and the category light, each with different subgroups, but that does not mean that these subgroups have to be weaker.

When one awakens one's attribute there is a possibility that one awakens more than one. There are super talented people with up to three attributes that are considered absolute treasures, as this is very rare. Awakening two elements is also rare, but seen more often and not that special either.

As already mentioned by Arthur's father, Arthur has a high mana sensitivity and was therefore able to start training his body and his mana core at an early age, because one can perceive mana even without having awakened his attribute, because this is everywhere in the environment to find. And with a higher mana sensitivity, you can absorb mana faster and better to improve your mana core.

The mana core has different levels, you start on the light green and go over green and dark green to light blue and from there to blue, then to dark blue. Then you reach the orange level, which is followed by the red and from there you come to the last and golden level.

If you have achieved this you have reached the maximum and are probably one of the strongest fighters.

Every time you improve your mana core, your strength improves to a completely different level, making you almost invincible to opponents of a lower level than yourself.
