Painful surprise

Not much exciting has happened since the boy was tested with the fire attribute. All had either only one element, which was also always one of the most common, or a par also had two abilities, but the stone had shone so weakly that it is more of a burden for those who have two abilities.

Arthur had to be patient a little longer, but he didn't care in the least. He sat comfortably on his wooden chair and waited another half hour until his name was finally called.

"Arthur Levish please come forward."

Arthur got up from his chair and strolled comfortably, without moving a face, forward onto the stage. He has never stood in front of such a crowd and although the crowd has already shrunk, there were still an extremely large number of people in attendance.

Arthur felt everyone's eyes on him, which still only made him a little nervous. He turned to the altar on which the still white stone lay and listened to the man as he explained to him that he simply has to let his mana circulate through the stone and that he should try not to think about anything else .

Arthur nodded to make it clear that he understood everything. He took his hands and carefully placed them on the stone. He closed his eyes and concentrated on the mana. The stone felt very cold to Arthur and he felt like his hands were freezing, but he didn't want to remove his hands from the stone.

He plunged into his thoughts and found himself in a dark world. Arthur looked around but couldn't see anything. There was nothing there, just darkness. He wondered why he couldn't see his elements, since in his mind you actually get the ability to see stars in the form of stars. Arthur tried harder to let his mana flow through the stone. He still felt nothing and his world remained dark and empty. That can't be, he thought to himself and shortly before Arthur was about to give up, he felt an extremely strong pain in his head. Arthur felt as if his head was being cut off by a thousand knives at once. The pain was unbearable, but he still held the stone and let his mana flow through it. And when Arthur almost passed out from pain, something suddenly exploded in his mind and his initially dark and black world suddenly shone in the most beautiful shades of blue. Arthur could see the most beautiful stars he had ever seen and he wondered what abilities the two shades of blue represented.

There were two different types of blue, once a light, almost white blue which looked breathtakingly beautiful to Arthur and then there was a dark blue with light purple features which was also of incomparable beauty for Arthur.

Arthur was so overwhelmed by his new impressions that he overlooked the small but very bright golden ball that was hidden between the shades of blue.

When Arthur opened his eyes again, he saw the whole room in light and dark blue shining and glittering, which gave him an incredible feeling. However, he also noticed something strange about his eyes, he could now see red lines in all variations over everything in the air, which ran in his direction, which surprised him and when Arthur wanted to look at the stone he felt such a great pain in his Eyes that he didn't have to pull himself together to scream in front of everyone.

He couldn't hold out the pain much longer and when he slowly noticed that his thoughts were disappearing and his body was getting heavier and heavier he could just see the woman in the red dress running up to him to keep Arthur from falling over. Just when his legs could no longer hold out and he fell over, he just felt like he was being caught by warm hands. And then Arthur initially lost consciousness from the severe pain.
