"He is right, Airi. You look wonderful," Carter finally spoke up, with a dreamy look in his eyes, and a gentle smile on his face. "Mom, you did a really good job, making someone of an unruly storm like her look so decent."
"You just didn't, you…!" Airi ran towards Carter, to catch him and smack on his head. But since she was wearing a dress that really doesn't allow her to run as freely as she usually does, she easily lost her footing and tripped on her clothes.
But just the nick of the moment, a wide arm gripped her, preventing her from falling. She looked up immediately to see the person who saved her from falling, but what she didn't expect was the person to be Carter. How did he come so fast? Wasn't he just standing there in the corner, so far away?
She looked straight at him, and he was also staring at her, with eyes slightly nervous. "Are you fine? Watch your steps properly."
