"So, how have you been?"
Shiro turned his eyes back at her. He didn't expect her to ask that. Technically, she was supposed to be mad at him till now. Not that he blames her for doing so.
"I guess, good enough," he chose to be honest with his response. "I have been trying to regain myself, which I lost, for some reason."
"So, was that why you left?" She spoke up, staring at the crowd in front of them, quite blankly. Her entire focus was on his words, even though she didn't look at him directly.
"Yeah…" he responded in a low voice. "Senior Arne, you see, I really meant when I made the promise with you. But it's just…"
"Just what? I mean, not that I would snap at you if you decided something for yourself," Airi leaned back a little, swinging her legs slowly, with the pace of the drums playing somewhere far. "I don't possess that right, Mogami-sama. So, you could always choose to turn me down. Or say that you were leaving like, 2 days later."
