Chapter 2: Sorry

YuanLi Pov:

"Here's your bottle of water," BoXu handed me it.

"Thanks," I smiled.

"For someone who just started dances a year ago, you're doing very well, you have potential. Great to have you as a member," BoXu smiled as he sat down next to me, opened his bottle, and drank water from it.

"As long as you're passionate and work hard to improve. You would always get better, won't they?" I sipped my water. I looked around to see Keye and YuJun practicing together. "Bo Ge, tell me, am I that scary?"

"No, you're really easy-going and funny. You're not hard to get along with. What's with you asking this question though?"

"Keye said YuJun finds me scary."

"YuJun just isn't close with you quite yet, more time will make it better."

"Look at how happy those two are when they are together," I sighed while looking at the two.

"Don't be so pessimistic, they're just friends who have known each other for a very long time. Plus Keye's eyes have those stars when he looks at you."

"Doesn't seem like that."

I started to think about the first fight. I and Keye were fighting because Keye brought YuJun to the place where we shared, a place where you could view the whole sky and the city. I was going there for a smoke and I bumped into them sitting near the edge where I and Keye would sit when we spent our time here. "All you do is fucking lie to me! You said this was a place for the two of us. Now look, you just brought someone here."

"YuJun was a little down today so I brought him here to comfort him," Keye said, trying to grab my hand.

I threw my cigarette down on the ground and stomped on it. "You're just a liar, don't keep promises you can't make, Keye."

"Are you okay?" BoXu asked.

"I'm fine," I respond softly.

"Do you need to go somewhere, maybe change? Then head back to the cars, it's time for lunch anyway. I'll come with you if you want."

"Okay." I stood up and walked towards the door, opening it then leaving the two of them in the practice room alone.

During the meal, I ate quickly, then got onto my phone and wrote my thoughts within my notes. Maybe someday these notes would be useful to me when I write songs or compose something. "Do you want anything else to eat, YuanLi?" BoXu asked me.

"No, but thank you for asking."

"If you ever need some food, later on, I'll get delivery for you," BoXu smiled. BoXu is a really nice person, he's a well-rounded idol, and a nice company to have. He feels like a loving brother, I have known him longer than Keye. BoXu was completely different from Keye. One can never compare the two, both very different from one another. BoXu is the family warmth that I have needed since my trainee days.

After an hour later, everyone was full and I quickly ran back to the car and seated myself down, closing my eyes to take a nap. I woke up to myself laying my head on someone's shoulder. I look up to realize it was Keye, "Sorry for sleeping on your shoulder," I said before lifting my head.

"Nothing wrong with it," he smiled at me.

"We're finally here!" BoXu said as the car stopped. I opened the door and got out of the car. I ran towards the building and quickly opened the elevator to not get on the same lift as Keye. But guess what? I ended up in the same lift as him. When the elevator stopped at my floor, I got out, and Keye followed behind. I opened my dorm's door and went inside, quickly closing the door. Right as I entered, I heard a knock.

"Who is it?" I asked.

"It's me, Keye."

"What do you want?"

"Can we talk?"

"What do you want to talk about?"

"My mistakes."

I opened the door to let him in and he quickly seated himself down on my couch. "Say what you want to say."

"Yuan...I'm sorry, I won't ever lie to you again, I know that YuJun is sort of afraid of you, but I'll tell you every time I hang out with him. I'm sorry for lying."

"That's all?"

"I'm sorry Yuan…" he grabbed onto my hand.

"There better not be a next time Keye because I can't promise you that I will stay forever."

"Okay, Yuan," he smiled before hugging my waist. "Can I stay here for the night?"

"Okay, let go of me so I can change." After I changed in the bathroom, I quickly laid down on my bed and stared up into the ceiling.

"Our first music video tomorrow," he said before he changed his clothes.

"Yeah…I'm tired."

"Today was a quick day though."

"Yeah…" I said softly before I drifted off into slumber.

"YuanLi?" I heard Keye whisper, I turned my head to look at him.

"Yes?"

"I like you."

"That was sudden."

"Do you not feel the same? Or do you find me disgusting-"

"It isn't that and no I do not find you disgusting for liking me," I said as both of my hands grabbed onto his shoulders. "I never knew you felt the same as me."

"That means you also like me," he smiled before hugging me.

"Yes."

I woke up to see the sky had darkened. I got out of bed and walked out onto the balcony. Keye was smoking and looking out. He turned around to face me, "Do you want a cigarette?" he asked.

"Don't feel like smoking right now."

"Oh okay." He put away his pack of cigarettes in his pocket.

"Did you know that yesterday was our third fight in our relationship?" I asked out of a sudden.

"Yeah."

"You know the reason right? The source of all these fights?"

"Yeah, Yuan, it's mainly my fault, maybe I'm just too young to handle relationships well. You know you're the first person right?"

"Yeah, but can you not doubt that these problems are because of our age? It's a communication problem on both sides."

"Yeah yeah…" he said before he finishes smoking, putting the bud in the cigarette tray.

"You know I love you right," I said softly.

"You know I love you too," he said before hugging me. "Let's sleep now, we have a music video to shoot tomorrow, we don't know how many takes they are going to make us do."

I nodded my head and we returned to bed. He hugged my waist before he closed his eyes, I took a glance before I fell asleep.
