Unbeknownst to humans, there are two worlds: The Real World, and the Underworld called the Purple Sea. Uriel, a self-proclaimed book addict was just reading by the fountain, unaware of how late it was. It was April 27. At exactly 11:27pm, a full moon occurred and the water at the fountain turned purple, a sign that the portal to the Purple Sea has been opened. It swallowed him down, way down into the Underworld. When he came back to the Real World, he was different. He had Aquakinesis, the power to manipulate water. But not only that, he also became King of the Purple Sea.

My Accidental Power

"My excitement is beyond explanation! I can finally see what you do for a living! I shall witness before my very eyes, how humans undertake assignments to fulfill missions! How many gemstones, and what type of gemstones does an average human earn per day?"


Princess Nicolette had just finished her bath. She came out of the bathroom wearing beige khaki shorts and plain white shirt, which surprised me because I was also wearing a plain white shirt and beige khaki pants, so I quickly changed my shirt into a black one. It wasn't because I didn't want to be perceived as someone who dressed in couple's outfit at work; it was because I didn't want our clothes to seem like they were job uniforms.


"Uhm…what? Gemstones? Is that the medium of exchange in the Underworld?" I studied myself in the mirror mounted above the bed's headboard, then stroked my black and wavy slicked back hair to make sure they were in place.
