2 - Part B:

After school

Observatory deck...

So yeah! The first one I decided to "investigate" is Eri since where in the same club. Not to mention, she seems to be more approachable than the other girls. Well Ace is also approachable, but I decided to investigate her on another day. So basically, I made a schedule whom to investigate every after school and lunch break.

Now time to do some investigating.

We are doing our usual club activities which is tending the gardens and Wren talking to a flower. For some reason, she doesn't feel embarrassed doing it on front of me anymore. More like she doesn't care at all except when I start taking pictures of her doing it. Anyway, since I'm "investigating", I'm sticking to Eri like glue while observing her. Eri doesn't seem to mind me sticking to her at all and takes advantage of it by ordering me around. It's kinda weird that she doesn't ask me any questions.

"Linel, can you please carry this fertilizer for me?"

I carry a casing of liquid fertilizers that is stock up inside the shack where we keep all the equipments and etc. I think this casing of liquid fertilizers is about 20 kilos. After that, I placed it on top of the hover wagon that is right outside the entrance of this shack.

After I was done carrying the casing of liquid fertilizer...

"Linel, can you please carry this tool box for me?"

I found Eri's request kinda strange since we're a gardening club and all so I decided to ask about it.

"Tool box? What do you need that for?"

Suddenly, Eri takes out her fancy giant scissors from who knows where and shows it to me while smiling.

Clank* Clank*

"It's confidential."

Scary!

I don't think anyone will be able to bully her.

Since I'm too scared to know on what the hell she's going to do with that scissors and decided to do what she asked for.

I enter the shack and approach the red metallic tool box that is on a shelf and bring it over to the hover wagon. By the way, this tool box seems to be about 10 kilos.

That's one heavy tool box.

Next...

"Linel, please carry these beakers for me?

Can't she do it herself?

If I said that out loud, she might threaten me with her giant scissors again so I didn't say anything and bring the beakers that are in a shelf and bring it over to the hover wagon.

"Linel, can you bring these gnome statues for me?"

Where not done yet?

Then again, I didn't say anything and do what I was asked for.

I carry the seven gnome statues that are located at the far end of the shack and bring them over at the entrance one by one. These gnome statues are so damn heavy that I didn't bother estimating their weight.

After I brought the gnome statues at the entrance, Eri calls for two more hover wagon.

After few seconds, the two hover wagons runs over and stops beside the other hover wagon.

After the two hover wagon arrived, I load the gnome statues up.

After I loaded the gnome statues...

" I thank you for your kindness for helping me. Now, will you excuse me? I have a lot of things to do. And also you may call it a day if you feel like going home. Farewell!"

Eri thanked me and walks away along with the hover wagons that are following her like an obedient dog.

Finally it's over... But I'm not done with the investigation yet so I decided secretly follow her.

I feel like a detective right now who's in the middle of a stake out.

I followed Eri towards one of the bushes that looks like it's made out of purple tinted glass in the middle of the garden with full of colorful tinted glass like plants. As I recall, these plants came from the planet Glassheim. This section of the garden looks exactly like a fantasy like crystal world in an rpg.

As she stopped on front of the bush, unload the tool box and places it on top of the rainbow grass that recently changed it's color from light purple to light pink.

After that, she opens the tool box and brings out a chisel and a small hammer that those artist use to make sculptures.

She approaches the bush and places the tip of the chisel which is on her left hand on one of the leaves and starts hammering the handle gently.

Pok* Pok*

Crystallized fragments slowly falls on the rainbow grass like artificial snow during Christmas season in Libra space city.

So that's how you trim those things!

I was wondering for a while about that matter.

Now, I know the answer.

After few minutes, she stops trimming the bush and puts away the chisel and hammer back inside the toolbox.

After that, she took one of the beakers that are on the hover wagon and stares at the crystallize fragments that are scattered around the bush.

The crystallize fragments are twinkling like stars in outer space which is making my eyes hurt a bit from staring at them.

Suddenly, the crystallized fragments levitates in midair and enters the beaker.

I'm pretty much sure that's brainwave manipulation and not Louise.

After all the crystallized fragments were cleaned up, she puts the beaker back on the hover wagon, takes out her handkerchief from her right pocket and wipes the sweat on her forehead.

After that, she puts the handkerchief back in her pocket and proceeds to the next bush and do the same thing she did earlier.

I wonder why she needs to collect the crystallized fragments instead of calling a cleanbot or a maidbot over to clean it for her.

I'll probably find out the answer later on.

After she was done with that task, she walks out of the crystal garden and for her next destination which is the garden full of insect eating flowers called "Raflesha."

Last time I was here, those Rafleshas launched their tentacle like vines and tickled me nonstop. I had to blow away their vines with a gust of wind using atomic synthesis in order for me to break free. At least they didn't try to eat me. By the way, the Rafleshas are as big as trees which make them kinda scary.

I hope they don't suddenly launch their vines at me, so my cover won't be blown.

Eri stops on front of the Raflesha fearlessly. Judging by her distance from the Raflesha, the tentacle like vines could reach her but for some reason it's not attacking her.

I wonder why.

(Note: The Raflesha are petrified because of the gnome statues.)

By the way, I'm currently at a distance far away from Eri and the Rafleshas. If you're wondering how I was able to observe her, I'm using my cell phone camera as a telescope.

Anyway, Eri took one of the beakers with crystallized fragments inside and takes out a liquid fertilizer which bottle looks kinda like eye drops and pours the all the content inside the beaker.

After that, she fills the beaker up with water using atomic synthesis.

After she fills the beaker up with water half way, she creates a mini whirlpool inside the beaker to stir the contents.

She probably did that by creating a spiral current using brainwaves.

After she was done stirring, she approaches the Raflesha and pours the some of the content of the beaker on the ground where its roots are buried.

After that, she proceeds to the next Raflesha, and I followed her.

While I was following her while pointing my cell phone at her...

"Hey weirdo! What do you think you're doing?"

I bump into Wren.

Great!

Wren is looking at me with her grumpy expression while carrying a fancy looking water can.

Now time to make some stuff up.

I quickly exit the camera app and turn on the wifi function.

"I'm looking for wifi signals."

Wren who doesn't seem to believe me, grabs my cell phone and checks it out.

She starts fidgeting with my cell phone.

I can't tell what application she oppened since I'm right on front of her.

After few minutes of checking, she shoves my cell phone back at me and makes a demand.

"If you don't have anything better, to do, give me a hand weirdo!"

I was pretty sure that she would say get out but I was wrong.

She suddenly shoves the fancy looking water can at me and drags me away.

I wasn't done investigating Eri but I'm pretty much convinced that she's not a victim of bullying. If someone even tries to bully her, they will feel the wrath of her giant scissors.

Inside the principal's office, former general Gunn is watching Linel doing his "investigation" through the eyes of Louise that is being shown on the holoscreen. Beside former general Gunn is a muscular tall man with brown hair and facial hair wearing a black bandana, an eye patch and a military camouflage suit.

This man is currently smoking a cigarette while watching the live footage with former general Gunn. This man is "The Boss" who is the second year espionage teacher.

"What do you think of my grandson's investigation skills?"

Former general Gunn asked.

The Boss takes out the cigarette in his mouth and answers him in a low volume.

"You're asking the wrong person."

"How about his espionage skills?"

"He knows how to hide from his target, that's for sure."

"Which means?"

"He has potential."

"I see... Interesting..."

Former general Gunn picks up a white tea cup filled with green tea and takes a sip.
