Conviction

Dale couldn't stop from frowning before the giant angry girl before him. Her cute face now a sinister glare.

"Where's Kilo? And why do you have his armor!" She screamed using telepathy.

Her angry expression screamed 'I'll murder you if you say the wrong thing.' Dale swollowed nervously, then he removed his helmet. He felt the chilly air on his face. The sun was just about to set and the tempreture was dropping.

"I don't know…I summoned you by the authority…" Dale paused at how she grabbed the building. The area shook and Dale heard Stella tense up, then put her head by his hand, probibly gesturing that they should leave.

"Of God." Dale finished.

A hostile grin broke across her face.

"Which God? Harold? Nexus? Either way you made a fool of me. You pulled me out of a war and took Kilo from me..I'll never forgive you." She coldly crushed the edges of the building with no effort. The roof collapsed and Stella grabbed Dale by the shoulders. Then she started to fly.

"I'm sorry.." Dale said.

"Get out of my head!" Zilla yelled. She then began to make her way to the beach. Each step crushing the road and bumping into buildings too. She looked like a child raging in a tantrum.

"Well, I didn't expect her to react so violently..maybe she's right. I summoned you all without considering your feelings." Dale said.

Stella moved her head left and right, as if saying no.

"We'll talk about this later then.."

Dale gathered his party and went back to the hotel. The lights had gone out, but Jill was still there.

"I told you to run if there was trouble." Dale said as he flashed his phones light at Jill.

"I was afraid I'd get lost." She pouted.

"Well, I guess it turned out fine, but be more aware next time. I'll get you all phones so we can stay in touch." Dale said.

"Whats a phone?" Senko asked.

"Its a communication machine…anways. Were heading North since the powers out here. After that, I'll buy a house for us. I pray it doesn't get wrecked by a kaiju.." Dale sighed.

"What are you rich?" Stella stated.

Dale laughed.

"Sorta, for now." He replied.

"Alright then, let's go sugar daddy." Stella teased.

A few days passed. They managed to buy a large house in a city North of Arkenfel, called Mullberry. The area wasn't too populated. At least not compared to Arkenfel.

Stella watched the boiling ramen. The steam rising and warming her face up. Dale stood at the table studying the things he bought. Two two liter sodas, chips, beer, and some candy.

It was junk food, but this would do for now. At least until they've bought a working fridge.

"So? What happened to Zilla? She seemed to go rogue all of a sudden." Stella said.

Dale poured himself a drink. He took a sip, then cleared his throat.

"I don't know..she assumed I was some dude named Kilo..the moment I summoned her. I just went with it." Dale said.

Stella didn't say anything to that.

"She was our trump card. If we don't have her on our team, then.." Dale paused.

"Truth is. You have to realize you summoned people from other worlds. What's in it for them?" Stella questioned.

Dale didn't know the answer to that. He could pay them, but it wasn't guarenteed that he could. At least in the sense that they could take stuff home. If they ever even could go home. There was too many uncertainties.

"Me and Bobo longed to live on Earth again..we reincarnated in another world. So we will fight to save Earth. But what about the godly, Senko? What about the saccubus? And what about Zilla? Convincing her to fight will be hard." Stella said.

By now she was pouring the ramen into seperate bowls. Then she poured the broth equally into each one. Tossing eggs and pieces of beef on the side.

"I get that. I'll figure something out. I'll get to know them more. If possible." Dale said.

"Last matter. You said the alien ship only sends out one monster at a time. It would probibly be safe to assume Zilla hit them in their pride. Considering the fact they sent three." Stella said.

"Thats right. They sent three to the exact location of Zilla. At least we know they got a brain..and some kind of reaction. This might be the only time we comminicated with them." Dale said with a nervous grin.

"Sure, if by communicating, you mean fight." Stella said.

"Well..a lot is said in a fight..at least thats what they say." Dale took another sip.

"Who says?" Stella made a mischivious smile.

"I heard it from an anime…" Dale said, his forhead wad now sweaty.

Stella got closer.

"What anime?" She asked.

"Narut..now back off dude..it doesn't help that your a cute.." Dale paused.

"A cute what?….relax I was just messin with you." Stella said.

"Come eat everyone!" Dale called as to change the subject. And it worked.

Senko, Jill, and Bobo sat around the table. Jill's eyes were focused on the house. Studying the technology she'd missed and how it was integrated into the house.

Senko seemed to not care for the most part.

"What is this? You dare feed me worms? If I knew we were eating worms, I could've gone huntings. There are many birds flying around here." Senko said with a look of horrid disgust.

"They…" Dale was cut off.

"They aren't worms..it's called ramen. Its really great. Try it." Bobo said with a cute smile.

Senko sudied Bobo's smile, then she looked down at her plate. The noodles looked golden under the light.

"Its made of wheat flour..you'll be fine." Dale said with a forced smile.

"Wheat isn't some kind of worm, is it?"

"No. Its a plant." Dale said.

She picked up a fork and stabbed the bundle. Then she stuck it in her mouth. Her eyes lit up with life. She sucked up the strands of noodles and stabbed again agressively.

"This really is an interesting dish." Jill said.

"So how long did they have you locked up?" Dale asked.

"Locked up? I thought she was a summons.." Stella looked surprised.

"Nah, I was summoned and saved both Dale and Jill." Senko said with a mouthful of food.

"Right..I tried to get the governments cooperation." Dale went on to explain the whole ordeal. About the alien's conspiracy and the facility that housed paranormal creatures. Even about the fugly and the tree monster that escaped. Then about the first wish being money.

"So technically we can't trust anyone…but you do realize having money pop up in banks will bring suspicion?" Stella stated.

"Yeah..I'm counting on it. Hopefully getting through the men in the frontlines will get me in contact with non sellouts." Dale said.

"So you want to get arrested?" Stella's eyes were wide.

"Pretty much." Dale said.

"Don't cha worry. I'll bust you out. I'm the best marksman here. They don't stand a chance." Senko said.

"Thanks Senko…you're the best." Dale said. Poor Senko had no reason to be loyal. She had every right to hate him for summoning her. And yet, she supported him. Dale knew he had to pay them back somehow, but he would figure that out later.

"Alright. We'll try communicating with the aliens. Then, we'll attack them if they don't leave." Stella stated. She then drank the remainder of her broth.

"How do we attack?" Dale asked.

"Easy…the hard part is actually talking to them." Stella said.

"I said, how do we attack them? They deserve a good beating at this point. I'm done talking." Dale stood up and dropped his fork, leaving dropplets of broth on the table.

Stella grinned.

"We use Zilla to attack and we'll use a fire to signal them." Stella said calmly.

"Zilla?" Dale felt his heart drop.

That was a matter he didn't want to confront. She almost killed them on that rooftop. Trying to talk to her again could mean being squished like a bug.
