Chapter 46: Claimed

They arrived quickly at Camp Half-Blood, literally left at the border of the magic barrier that surrounds the entirety of the camp. They had little time to process things when suddenly a half-goat half-man appeared from behind a tree, and together with him a centaur right behind him, the goat man, or should I say goat boy because he looked to be younger than Luke, looked at the centaur and said: "Chiron, are they...?" The centaur only nodded and said: "I invite you all to please, come inside, we welcome you young Demigods to this camp, a safe place for you all."

Pruno wanted to leave, he knew that someday Enychta would bring him here, but growing up listening to Eny say how bad the Gods were and how manipulative and how they liked to pull their children into their petty fights... And now, they are going to live in the Gods playground, where their children are trained to later be used to go on quests and maybe die a horrible death! He didn't like it very much, but the thought of Enychta's painful voice as he ordered them to go and stay there was enough for him to shut up and not voice his worries if Eny said he would come back in two months then he trusts him, Eny never lied to him... Why would he lie to him? Should he punish the bad wolf if he lies to him?

Thinking about it, maybe he should lock Eny away so he can't run from him, maybe he should even lock Luke too before he realizes his real personality, so he can have them all for himself for the rest of his life. This sounds like a very tempting idea that he should truly follow...

Luke had a deep frown on his face, his mind let coming back to Eny and his painful expression and it hurts him because if he was in pain and pushed them away, it meant he didn't trust them enough to help him with his pain. After all those years, he didn't trust him? After all those fights, where he fought beside Enychta with his Celestial Bronze sword with blood dripping down his body, cutting monsters down, running around monsters, and using his speed to win, doing so much for him only to not be trusted fully!? It hurts. It hurts to think about that, so he will just forget about it, for the time being... He wants answers from Eny, and he will get answers from him when he is back, and he will make sure he can't leave again!

Thalia, however, grew a little uncomfortable and scared. The last look Eny gave her was a hard, aggressive look, his red eyes staring deeply into her soul... It reminded her of the look she received from her mother when she fought against her to know where her brother was, only to find that he had died, she left home after that day to never come back. Yet, the last look she received from her still haunts her mind every single day of her life as it seems, not only could she recognize the look of rage and fear in Enychta's eyes, but she could also see his pain, and if he was in lain and pushing everyone away... It meant they couldn't help him with whatever was causing him pain.

Annabeth, on the other side of the spectrum, was still a little skittish. She had known Eny for 28 days, and he always kept a hard face around her which reminded her of her father's wife, the way she looked at her whenever something supernatural happened. The fear, the anger, the disgust... All was there, and yet he acted so sweetly to everyone else, as of it was only her and her alone that he hated. Thalia explained to her that it had happened to her as well, that Eny doesn't easily trust people and keeps an eye on them until he is sure they won't hurt anyone he loves, he did it to Luke, to her, and was now doing it to Annabeth as well. She had never seen Enychta that aggressive like he would tear their throats out if they stayed there, with him, and that thought scared her a lot! Eny always acts like a beast whenever someone he likes is near him, rubbing his head on them, sniffing, and even playing with them.

But the way he snarled at them, made her heart go cold and she didn't know why, it just made her whole body freeze in fear.

They followed the centaur that was named Chiron, they knew about him from the Greek mythology books that Eny had, they had read the Illiad, the Odyssey, the Oresteia, and the Iphigenia too! Anyway, they were being shown around the place, it seems like four new additions were enough to catch the attention of the residents of the camp! Some of the children that lived there were static to see the new additions, and some of the young adults were too, they all looked at the new additions with curiosity and awe too. Well, it wasn't for nothing! The trio Luke, Pruno, and Thalia were so beautiful that they could be easily compared to children of Aphrodite, and some of the campers, mostly the children of Aphrodite, thought that they WERE children of Aphrodite.

However, when Chiron gathered the campers to give the welcome to the new members of the camp, everyone was stunned.

"Today we welcome four new Demigods to Camp Half-Blood!" As everyone cheered and clicked cups, Dionysus groaned when suddenly he frowned and look at the four kids. Floating above their heads were the symbols of their parents!

Above Thalia, thunder appeared.

Above Luke, a caduceus.

Above Annabeth, a grey owl.

And above Pruno, a fruit.

The quartet was claimed by their Godly parent in front of the whole camp, but the one that caught the most attention was Thalia's claim... A daughter of Zeus! A daughter of the big three, that itself was shocking beyond belief, but now some people pitied her because Hera would surely make her life a living hell.
