chapter 6! Arcadia

"Aria, can you tell me about this world?." Lin hu asked.

"What do you mean?" Aria was taken aback when she heard Lin Hu.

"When I awoke in this wilderness, it appears that I had no memory of my past, or about this world and all I knew was my name."

Lin hu lied as he explained after seeing Aria's surprised at his question.

"Even if I say the truth, there is no way anyone would believe that I transmigrated." Lin Hu thought.

"Oh, I see why you're asking such question" Aria realized.

Lin hu nodded

"We are in the Arcadia continent, and there are other continents out there; however, travelling to other continents requires crossing vast wilderness, which only a few people can do because travelling to other continents is dangerous because most invaders settled in the wilderness."

"where are we right now?" Lin hu asked

"We're in an Goblin-infested wilderness. There are only a few kilometers between here and the border of Estia, where I live."

"What is the origin of the invaders??" Lin hu asked

"No one know for sure, but this world used to be peaceful a thousand years ago, but that all changed when a dimension rift appeared out of nowhere, and the other race from the dimension rift invaded every continent."

"The invader used to have power that humans did not have, but the god pity us and give us power to fight back against the invasion, but even with the god's blessing, we couldn't defeat all of them because there were too many of them." Aria explained

"God's blessing?"Lin hu murmured

but Aria still heard Lin Hu

"God's blessing is what we call magic, such as the inventory you showed me, it must be your special magic because I've never seen anything like it."

"Does every person have different kind of magic?" Lin hu asked.

"Yes, everyone has their own unique magic, but we can also learn magic through magic books or inherent ability." Aria explained

"What about mine, if everyone has their own unique magic But, because my power isn't magical, it's more like a game system, and my inventory is only a component of it, would I get in trouble if someone finds out?" Lin Hu pondered

Aria continued eating her food without bothering Lin hu, seeing how seriously he was pondering.

After they've finished their meals.

"By the way, how did you end up being held captive by the goblins?"Lin hu asked

"I wasn't captured as a captive, but rather sold as a slave to the Goblin." Aria stated.

"Slave?"Lin hu puzzled.

"My father used to work as a noble's guard, but after my father was wrongly killed after accusing of spying for another noble, because of that, my mother and I were marked as a slaves." Aria said, she grinding her teeth as she explained

"Then, the Arcon family has someone with magic who can communicate with the goblins which the Arcon family sold me in order for them to gain wealth from the goblins."

"Do you see this collar around my neck? It's proof that I'm a slave, and no matter how hard anyone tries to take it off, it'll never come off because it's made of mana stone." Aria said as if she resigned to her fate.

"so what are you gonna do from now on?" Lin Hu asked.

"Either i go back to Arcon family to be their slave or die here in the wilderness since i dont have a strength to save my mother ." Aria expressed her frustration.

Then Aria suddenly thought if Lin hu can help her save her mother wouldn't it be better if Lin hu took her as a slave instead of the Arcon family which she hated to the bone

Given that he had saved her from the Goblins, he surely have a strength to confront the Arcon family.

"Please help me save my mother and i will be your slave." Aria kowtow as she beg Lin hu.

"What!!!" Lin hu said in disbelieve

"My magic is healing, and I will never be a burden to you." Aria said as she tried to convince Lin hu

"is it worth the risk? but having a healer by my side, is like having a second life."Lin hu pondered.

"Okay i will help you to save your mother."Lin Hu decided.

"thank you, master!" Aria said happily.

"now, lets take rest."

"Master wait, we still haven't done the master and slave ritual."Aria said.

"What is that?" Lin hu asked

"you have to drop your blood in my collar to establish the master and slave." Aria said.

Lin hu bit his thumb and placed it on Aria's collar. Lin hu then noticed a transparent crimson thread connecting him and Aria.

afterward, Lin hu and Aria went to sleep.

In the Arcon manors in the middle of the night

"I heard that someone exterminated the goblins."

"Is that correct?"

"Yes, father, an adventurer passed by the goblin village, but he did not see any goblins or other monsters there."

"Go and gather the soldiers, tomorrow we're going to goblin village to see if the treasures are still there."

"yes father"

"I wonder if Aria survived she was so beautiful that I regret not having had the opportunity to play with her  if it hadn't been for Father selling her to the goblins, I could be having fun with her right now."

Early in the morning.

Lin hu opened his eyes when he felt something pressing his arm, and when he looked to his side, he saw a beautiful woman clinging to him, and his arm was buried beneath a large two mountain.

*Puchiiii!!!*

Lin Hu's nose squirted blood because it was the first time he l had felt this kind of sensation. He never imagined he'd have the opportunity to l sleep beside a beautiful woman.

Back on Earth, he had a crush on a girl, but he was humiliated after confessing his feelings for her, but now things are different because he has strength.

Afterwards, Aria awoke, realising she had been clinging to Lin Hu while she was sleeping. Her face flushed, and she slowly moved herself to stand up, saying in a low voice.

"Good morning master"

"Did you sleep well? how is my arm is it comfortable?"

Aria face becomes even more reddish after hearing Lin Hu.

Lin hu teased Aria as he can feel something like emotion running through the crimson thread.

If it was the old Lin Hu, he would never tease anyone, let alone a woman, because he was a loser who let others bully him and when his parents died, he would always try to avoid people. but this after coming to this world he decided that he would change.
