Chapter 7! Arcon Family

"Men!!Look through each and every tent. I want to hold those treasures!!"  After arriving at the goblin village's gate, Wilhelm Arcon issued a command to his soldier.

"Father, may I also join the soldiers in their search for the treasure?" Draco Arcon asked.

"No Draco, I want you to look for Aria because she might still be useful to us!"

"Yes, father." Draco said as he marched into the goblin village.

"what kind of place is Estia?" Lin hu asked as they walked towards Estia village.

"Estia village was once a simple village, but everything changed when the king made Wilhelm Arcon a baron of Estia. Everyone was happy at first because they knew Estia would be protected from the monsters by the empire because it was one of their domains. However, the Arcon family was greedy, and the village tax increased year after year." Aria explained.

"Hmmmm... Wouldn't fighting with the Arcon family be going against the king?"Lin hu asked as he stared at Aria.

"Yes, master" Aria acknowledged with a guilty expression.

"What! there's no way I'm going to go up against a king." Lin Hu stated

Lin hu was well aware that if he slaughtered the Arcon family, the king, who had appointed Wilhelm Arcon as a baron, would be enraged and would pursue him.

"Fuck! I need to come up with a plan to save Aria's mother without fighting with Arcon family." Lin hu thought.

"Can you tell me more about the Arcon family?"Lin hu said.

Lin hu bombarded Aria with questions as they walked toward Estia after learning more about the Arcon family. He was able to devised a plan for rescuing Aria's mother.

Afterwards, the two of them arrived in front of Estia's gate.

"Hey you! who are you!" a young guard said aggressively on the watch tower.

"It's me Rayner" Aria said

"It's you, Aria. How did you return? We discovered that you and your mother were marked as slaves by the Arcon family and you were sold to the goblins." Rayner said as he grind his teeth.

"Aria, I apologise. if the village couldn't help you, you know that anyone who tries to go against the Arcon family will be miserable." Rayner said pitifully

"its all right, Rayner. by the way, im returning to Arcon manor. please let us in."

"I can let you in but who is he? he's not from this village's he needs to pay to get in." Rayner said as he pointed his finger at Lin hu.

"I'm Lin hu, an adventurer" Lin hu said as he tossed a gold coin to the guard.

Rayner was shocked when he saw the gold coin in his hand.

"Can we go in now?" Aria asked impatiently.

"yes yes!" Rayner opened the gate as he signaled them to go in.

When Lin Hu inquired about the Arcon family from Aria, he also asked about the profession of the people on this continent.

there's a lot of profession in this continent but Lin hu liked the most was the Adventurer.

An adventurer is someone who enjoys travelling through the wilderness and visiting other continents.

Ever since Lin hu transmigrated, he was really looking forward travelling around this new World. so He decided from now on he's going to be an adventurer.

Lin hu and Aria arrived at the Arcon manor's entrance after a short walk.

"Halt," the guard said.

"Oh, if it isn't slave Aria," the other guard remarked.

Lin hu narrowed his eyes as he looked at the guard who made fun of Aria.

"Who is this gentleman?" the other guard inquired as he noticed Lin hu standing beside Aria.

"I'm Lin hu, an adventurer, and I've come to do business with your lord." Lin hu stated

"I'm sorry, but the Lord isn't present if you'd like, you can wait for the Lord."

Lin Hu Nodded as they went inside the Arcon manor.

"Father, Someone had emptied this place, and there are no traces of Aria." Draco said regretfully.

Draco doesn't care about the treasure; what he regrets is not being able to find Aria. He was desperate to get his hands on Aria

"Let's go, we're heading back to the manor." Wilhelm Arcon said as he tightly grips his fist

"If i ever finds who get the my treasures, I'll make sure they will die horribly.!!" Wilhelm Arcon thought.

"Master, I thought we were going to rescue my mother, so why are we doing business with the Arcon?" Aria inquired, her voice sound anxious.

"Don't worry, I have a plan." Lin hu stated.

"My lord, Aria returned with an adventurer they are waiting for you" one of the guard said.

"WHAT!! bring them to me" Wilhelm said as awhile ago he was still thinking who was the one who took the treasure from the goblin's village.

Never he would have thought that they would deliver themselves to his door.

Lin Hu and Aria enter the room where is Wilhelm Arcon and his son were waiting for them.

"Aria How are you doing? When we heard that goblins were slaughtered, we assumed you were dead." Wilhelm made a sarcastic remark.

Draco stared at Aria pervertedly.

"Who could this gentleman be?" Wilhelm said as he sized up Lin Hu.

"

"I'm Lin hu, Aria's new master" Lin hu said

Hearing Lin hu said.

"NO!! THIS CAN'T BE!!." Draco shouted angrily as he stared at Lin hu

"ENOUGH!! Leave immediately" Wilhelm said as he asked to his son leave the room.

Wilhelm Arcon knew his son was deeply affected by Aria, which is why he came up with a plan to frame Aria's father and turn Aria into a slave so he can sell Aria into the goblins.

"So what brings you here, Mr. Lin hu.?"

"I'll get right to the point, i'd like to buy Aria's mother"

Aria stared at Lin hu.

"as you know, Aria's mother is one of my slaves, it's going to cost you a lot "

Lin Hu took out a thousand gold from his inventory and placed it on the table.

"Is this enough?" Lin hu said smiled.

"Enough enough" Wilhelm Arcon said as he smiled

Look like his the one who took the treasure from the Goblin's village.

"Butler go get Aria's mother" Wilhelm Said as he grab the bag of gold .

afterwards,

Knock* knock*

"My lord, i brought Allina with me." butler said as he knock on the door.

"Mother!!!" Aria said as she dashed to hug her mother

"Aria!!!"

"My lord my business here is done we will take our leave." Lin hu bow as he said his farewell.
