The Power of the Balor

The balor rushed unbridled against Asteri with the club infused with demonic fire, that fire gave off an aura of terror, but Asteri did not touch.

* BOOOOM * the club smashed into the floor where Asteri was previously, who had dodged to his right. He still had four minutes, of the original five, of * Lightning *.

'Fiuuuu luckily I avoided that blow' Asteri reassured himself seeing the destroyed floor where it was before.

"You run away well human, can you do only this?" the Balor provoked him.

"No, I have other qualities, but don't worry we have plenty of time to get to know each other."

"I don't think so grrrrrr, your time is running out." saying this the Balor closed his wings, as if he were closing himself in a cocoon, and from the inside he began to give off a great quantity of heat, which eventually blew up, spreading his wings, throughout the room. He did all of this in half a second.

'Serious?! this is an incredible aoe attack, using the players 'guts.' thought Asteri.

'Commonly referred to here as' area attack '...' Aurelion added.

Asteri could not avoid an attack with such a large radius in an enclosed space, so he waved his free hand quickly and created a domed barrier around him, made of magical energy always colored in the three colors.

"* Bubble *" Asteri said.

Asteri felt the power of the Balor's attack through the dome, but resisted. When the heat wave ended, he canceled the * Bubble * and immediately saw flames scattered across the ground, as if he refused to go out, and some columns half-destroyed.

"Die!" said the Balor who appeared behind Asteri, despite his size he was very fast.

Asteri was taken aback, but still managed to avoid the blow of the club that crashed back into the ground, but this time it didn't end there. From where the crash occurred, five trails of fire broke out and made their way through the ground, shattering it. This scene is reminiscent of sharks swimming at high speed with their fin facing above the surface of the water. One of the trails of fire managed to hit Asteri who did not have time to dodge, although he was three times faster.

Asteri was thrown into a column that had survived the firestorm that occurred earlier, but broke due to the crash of Asteri's body.

'What a blow' Asteri said with some parts of his burnt clothes torn.

"You're tough enough grrrrr, a normal human at your level by now would have all the bones broken grrrr." said the balor walking slowly towards Asteri, thinking he had victory in his hand.

"Yes, I am very tough, or at least more than you, that's for sure." he said with a little Asteri little smile.

"I admire your bravado, despite the situation you are in you are still so confident in you grrrr."

Asteri rose from the ground.

"Anyway, I'm curious to know what a Balor is doing with simple kobolds." Asteri asked.

"It is no business that you look back, but since you are about to die I'll tell you that it was not my intention to stay in this crap place, I fell for it only because of that dragon who was leading them before." the balor's eyes lit a deep red with anger at the thought of that dragon.

"I assume that dragon is dead," Asteri said.

"Of course EHEHEH grrrrrr, and I'm making good use of his corpse for what he did to me during our fight." replied the balor.

'Scum' Asteri could hear that phrase from Aurelion inside him, for the first time he felt like dissatisfaction from his partner.

"But no more chatter grrrr, and now that you face a bad end." the mouth of the balor flared up and immediately afterwards it spat out a frontal cone, of a demonic flame, five meters wide. Asteri managed to dodge but it was in the calculations of the balor that he hurled himself at him with his club.

You can't dodge this, thought the balor in his head.

In fact, Asteri did not dodge him ... but he stayed there to parry the blow of his club.

'What an idiot.' always thought the balor.

* CLANK * but beyond the expectations of the balor, who remained with his eyes open, Asteri blocked the blow of the balor with his hand.

"Impossible! How can a human, even below my level, do this ?!" swore the demon.

"I can, if I can." Asteri said.

The balor looked over his club and could see changes in the boy's body. What looked like the veins inside his body shone with the three colors of his and his eyes, first just purple, now they were a mix of blue, gold and purple. Asteri's unique ability allows him to double every physical and magical quality within his body, which is impossible considering that the human race can only have a physical or magical strengthening spell. If a human has a * lightning bolt * spell he cannot have another spell that reinforces a physical quality, he must first cancel * lightning bolt *. In conclusion, a human can only have physical strength and magic. But Asteri was foreign to these human limitations. Asteri shook even more the hand with which he had grabbed the club to create cracks on it, seeing this the balor hastened to pull the club in such a way as to escape his grip but it was useless.

'It is absurd that a human could compete in physical strength with a greater demon such as a balor.' thought the demon.

"Surprised, little demon?" Asteri scoffed.

"Insolent!" but as he was about to finish this sentence Asteri had appeared in front of the balor's face with a jump and punched him on the muzzle, making him jump back about ten meters.

* CRACK * the sound of the balor's jaw snapping was heard. Asteri was very fast with the * lightning bolt * spell he could match his enemy's speed, but by activating his unique ability he became even faster that the balor couldn't keep up with him.

"BASTARD GRRRR! IF ONLY YOU WERE FULL OF MY STRENGTHS YOU WOULD NOT BE SO BRAVEL!" yelled the demon.

"Yes, sure as you say." Asteri completely ignored his whining.

"I'll have to get serious too then." the balor said with a mischievous hint.

Asteri frowns at these sentences.

'Attention, he will now use the unique ability that only balors possess.' Aurelion warned him.

'Ok.' Asteri answered.

The balor concentrated the demonic power inside his body, suddenly from behind his head along his entire back to the tip of his tail, a trail of fire spread as if it were a mane. Same thing happened around his wrists and ankles, fiery bracelets revealed themselves. At the center of his chest a kind of Y of fire made its way, and finally all over his body you could see his veins that lit up with an intense dark red.

"The time for games ends here, human." the Balor's voice became more hellish than it was before.
