"Asteri, Allatu, Betty! You did it ... luckily nothing bad happened to you." Ghenda breathes a sigh of relief. She doesn't know why those three won her sympathy for her in such a short time, but she was sure she could trust them and that was a sixth sense.

"Of course we did it, after all it was a mission to accomplish. If we fail, we'll create a bad name in Quisque's guild." Asteri spoke as he laid Gustav's body on the ground.

"Well, great job, since you're here I can finally discuss with you ... follow me to my house." Digna said this as she looked at Gustav's now lifeless body without asking for anything. Ghenda also looks at the corpse but she follows Digna's example, without saying anything knowing that the dwarf has something to say.

Asteri and the two companions looked at each other for a moment but immediately decided to follow Digna, leaving Gustav's body there on the ground, knowing that someone would come to take him.

The group of three adventurers looked around the environment they were in. More than an onslaught of thieves, it looked like a real battle between armies. Damaged buildings, rubble everywhere, lifeless bodies of people lying on the ground with blankets and their families crying around their bodies.

'Apparently it was an intense battle, I assume more than expected.' Asteri thought as he watched those families mourn their loved ones. But he still manages to notice Ghenda's pained face as he looked at the bodies of the dead soldiers.

Asteri accelerates the pace a little to reach Ghenda.

"It was more harmful than we expected ... I know you are blaming yourself for what happened, but you must not do it. You were forced to carry out Gustav's orders on behalf of the Grand Marshal." Asteri starts talking to her.

"Even if that were the case, I can't pretend that nothing has happened and get the problem out of my hands. I had doubts about Gustav but instead of looking for some evidence I simply followed the orders I was given." Ghenda looked down "maybe I'm not worthy to be a commander".

"Mmmh, on the other hand, I think so. I haven't known you for long but I liked you as a first impression, and then I think people need commanders like you, who inspire trust and hope, especially in the darkest moments Ghenda we are all wrong, c 'is what is wrong the most is what is least wrong, but it is from these mistakes that we must learn and continue to improve ourselves more and more. "Asteri tried to comfort the girl.

"But I can't be wrong, I'm a commander of the Sol Empire ... if I'm wrong, thousands of people, both soldiers and civilians, pay the consequences." Ghenda looks Asteri in her eyes.

"But they chose you, didn't they? If you have been cast for this role because they trust you, but at the same time they know you can be wrong but they will follow you because they believe in you, they believe that you will not make the same mistakes, maybe someone else in your place would have made more mistakes or quite the opposite, but now it doesn't matter because you are in the position of commander, do you want to repay their trust by abandoning them? Losing the position of commander? "Asteri looks Ghenda straight in the eye.

"I ... I have to think about it better." Ghenda looks away from him. Although she is stronger than Asteri, she just couldn't match the looks against those beautiful purple eyes.

"Sure, take your time. I just want you to know that I'm not ordering you what to do, it's just advice from a friendly adventurer." Asteri smiles as she watches her reaction.

"Yes sure, I know you are telling me these things for my good. And I thank you deeply Asteri." Asteri could see a small blush on Ghenda's cheeks.

"Well, we're here, everyone please come in." Digna gestures to enter through the main gate of her villa.

"Thanks" they all replied.

They walked through the garden of the large villa, apparently it was customary to have such a garden in this city. They reached the door which was opened by some servants "please enter esteemed guests".

"Is the room ready?" Digna asks a butler, after entering the villa.

"Yes, it was prepared as requested by my lady." the butler bends slightly to answer Digna.

"Well, let's go then." Digna continues to walk in front of the group leading them to the designated room.

"Here we are. Close the door as soon as we enter and don't let anyone in." Digna lets the group in and orders the butler not to let anyone in.

"It will be done my lady." the butler with the same movements as before carries out his mistress's requests at the door of the hall.

"Sit down, I have to tell you some essential things." Digna sits down as she advises others to do the same.

"Are these problems about Gustav's death?" Asteri asks as he sits down.

"That's right, apparently he was also duped by the 'Shadows of Kalos' ... along with a co-worker." Digna seems to be saddened as he utters the last sentences.

"Deceived? So he didn't die at your hand?" Ghenda is confused.

"No, he was killed by the 'allied' agent we embarked on the mission with." says Betty.

"If I am not mistaken, he was not advised by the noble Brocc? If I remember correctly, he is your brother, Digna." Ghenda looks at her questioningly.

"That's right my brother, the only relative of the family I have left ... oh so I thought before tonight." Digna was downcast.

"So behind all this is your brother? But why? He didn't endanger you either, is he his sister?" Allatu asks Digna.

"Apparently he didn't care about me, all this time he only used me for his purposes, just like he did with my father and his legacy from him." Digna gritted her teeth in frustration.

Everyone looked at Digna with an expression of regret for the betrayal she had suffered because of that brother she considered her family.

"Now that I remember hearing one of the members of 'Shadows of Kalos' talk about the museum. What were they doing there?" Ghenda remembers that follower behind Vanessa.

"Their goal was not the bank's money, it was just a lure to exploit Gustav, their goal was an artifact kept inside the museum". Digna looks at Ghenda.
