Riogarnization

The group broke up, in the end Asteri and Digna concluded the deal, the three would receive half of the original prize. At that moment they were going to Quisque. It was morning, the group did not want to rest much since they returned from the mission, they wanted to do it directly in Quisque.

"Why didn't you ask Digna for help in renovating the abandoned castle? Oh, also to find a good wizard to build a platform for a portal?" Betty asks Asteri.

"I didn't want to take advantage of her like that. After all, we haven't accomplished a big enough feat to get all of this out of her, but I'll most likely ask for her help later in time." Asteri replied by crossing his arms.

Currently the group was inside a carriage, obviously it was Digna who proposed this passage to them.

"But in the end it turned out to be quite a complicated affair ... someone in the shadows is trying to wreak havoc." Allatu smiled playfully at what she herself says.

"First that mortal aura entity we heard at the castle, the vampire who upset Betty and now this faction of assassins. If I weren't so excited to find out what's behind it, it would definitely drive me crazy." Asteri replies to Allatu, even the boy had a smile on his face.

"How can you smile with all these problems? And you are also excited about these events, most likely Kalos will have a bad time ... possibly the worst in all of his history since the Empire of Sol was born." Betty could not understand the behavior of the two.

"I can't tell you if I'm normal to be excited about these things, but it's the toughest challenges that make life more amazing. If everything were easy, wouldn't it be boring?" Asteri continued to show his smile.

"I agree!" Allatu joins what Asteri says.

"Well, I don't really understand, but from what it looks like we will be spending a lot of time together so I will have the opportunity to understand you better." Betty didn't notice, but her lips formed a small smile.

"Anyway I was stupid by that new skill you used in the cave, I've never seen anything like it, or maybe in the average world, but I have no memories, so it's new to me." Allatu was talking about Asteri's new ability.

"Did you like it? I can create up to ten of those soldiers, I have yet to find out what other functions they have but it's only a matter of time." Asteri replies.

"Yes, it actually looks very versatile, and like Allatu I've never seen anything like it, I was quite surprised." Betty says about her.

And so the group kept talking as they made their way to the adventurer's town.

. . .

The same morning Digna was in his villa to take care of some paperwork, such as managing the stability of the city and sending a message to the king of Kelaos.

*to knock*

Suddenly there was a knock on the door of his study.

"Come on." only this said Digna. The door opened and a figure entered.

This figure was wrapped in a long cloak joined to a hood that covered the head, but from that hood two bulges could be seen rising upwards.

"How long have you not called me. What can this cute little cat do for you?" the figure, who guessed from her voice that she was a female, seemed to have known Digna for some time.

"It's true I haven't seen you in a long time, but I need your services. It's nothing new, you just have to do what you are the best informant for." Digna stopped writing, looked at the hooded woman and smiled in response.

"This kitten is happy to help but ..." the woman voluntarily stopped speaking.

"I know, I know, you want more right? Okay, that's not a problem, what a greedy cat." Digna snorted and said he would give more, but the last part of her said it in a low voice.

"It's my greed that makes this kitten so cute and charming." in the woman's hood those two bulges moved slightly, she had heard the last part of Digna's sentence.

"Sure sure, come now as I have to tell you what I need." that's how the two women started talking about a problem.

. . .

Yet at the same time Ghenda was standing in front of a table with a map of the continent on it.

'I wonder where they will make their next move.' she was thinking in his mind of 'Shadows of Kalos'.

"Commander, excuse me if I interrupt you, but I have returned to repeat the orders given." a soldier, to be precise, a white knight presented himself in front of Ghenda to tell her things.

"Sure, you can talk Tod." Ghenda stopped thinking and looked at the knight, telling him to speak. If Asteri were here he would recognize the knight, he is none other than the one who denied him access to the villa the first time he came to Marinburg.

"Yes!" Tod takes off his helmet and starts talking «we have reorganized the soldiers in the city, now the captain of the guards can take care of the matter independently. Instead the twenty-five wounded knights are currently being treated by the best healers, ten are out of danger, another ten are still under treatment but should recover soon, while the last five are seriously injured ».

"And the bodies of the dead?" Ghenda wanted to know about the ten dead knights.

"Their bodies were kept in coffins perfectly constructed by the best carpenters. Miss Digna kindly offered the expenses herself. They will be sent to the capital cemetery. As for the civilians, we counted a dozen dead, many were injured… "Tod looked a bit grim about it.

"Ok, I'm saddened by the deaths, but we have to go ahead and try to do better." Ghenda suddenly remembered Asteri's smile. She blushed a little but recovered quickly.
