The Wolf prowling across dimensions by Pandora's Reader

Highschool of the Dead & My Hero Academia/僕のヒーローアカデミア Xover Rated: M, English, Family & Adventure, [OC, Rika M., Shizuka M., Saeko B.], Words: 820k+, Favs: 1k+, Follows: 1k+, Published: Nov 17, 2021 Updated: Nov 9 779Chapter 55: Some nice R&R

Anime - Yeah, I prefer nicknames over actual names, and that's gone into overdrive in this. As for adventurer names, I completely forgot about em until you brought it up.

This is the last of my beta'd chapters, so until their finished, you guys are gonna have to go back to waiting.

Beta'd by NiteNight.

{A few hours later. Maccillian's POV}

Lili and I had a great time. She was learning how fun saying 'yeet' could be after throwing something. I had a few ideas on what to teach her, but without the internet, or the goodies from home, I couldn't teach her everything I wanted. So I'd just have to settle for the references and other things.

During the teaching, Bell came back out, and we talked. With his new semblance, and accidental joining of the silver clan, which I wasn't going to remove him from, we could raise his training up to another level. Said level might end up with him going through more aura exhaustion, and maybe some real ugly wounds, but he'd be fine.

Minor immortality and all that.

At one point, Lili went to sleep again, and I just wrapped her up in an aura blanket. We didn't really have a room for her, so I just let her snuggle into me. She was a smol bundle of adorableness when she slept, and I was finding out that my protective instincts were growing like wildfire. (I might need to threaten a fuckton of potential boyfriends with way more than death... I'll figure out threats later.)

Other than me finding out I was softer than I thought, the rest of the day went fine. We talked about Development Abilities, and Bell settled on getting Luck again. I didn't really know what to get. I had Hunter as an option, but that was just eh. I had Abnormal Resistance too, but I didn't need it. My Regeneration and aura took care of issues like that. I had two other eh options, but I crossed those out after a bit of thinking.

So that left Magic Resistance as my only option. Again, I didn't need it, but it was the only option left. So I decided to just settle for that, and wait for Hestia to do the update so I could grab it. It might be unnecessary, but it could be nice.

From there, Bell and I talked some more, then he got tired, and decided to go to sleep. He did have a tough day, so it was fine.

That just left me, the hounds were sleeping, in the living room. I didn't really know what to do, and I was pretty sure if I moved too much, Lili would wake up. So I was kind of trapped... Which was a strange thought to have. But it was what it was.

I didn't feel tired, I'd gotten a bit of sleep earlier in the day, so I didn't WANT to sleep yet, but it was looking like sleep was the only thing I COULD do. "Hah... Might as well." I shifted and curled myself around Lili, which made her reach out to wrap her arms around me, then closed my eyes. Something would either happen in a bit, or I'd wake up to something to do.

I'd take whatever it was though.

{Next day}

I heard footsteps coming towards the door, and cracked open an eye to watch who was coming in. Though when I put a small bit of effort into finding out who, I realized it was Shizuka. K's aura helped me feel out where the girls were if I really wanted to know. Normally, it was a vague direction, but when she was that close, I could feel that it was her.

I took a look at the windows, and noticed the sun wasn't even up. (Did they stay out all night?) That was something interesting, and I decided to ask later.

Shizuka opened the door, and I watched as she walked in, with a passed out and lightly drooling Hestia on her back. We made eye contact, and she just smiled and shook her head. "Later. Too sleepy. Goodnight Silver." Huh... Whatever. She walked out of the living room, and went over to Hestia's room. (Welp, looks like Hestia's the body pillow for tonight... This morning? Eh, whatever.) That was fine.

But now I was awake. And that was not fine. There were only so many times I could go to sleep before I had too much energy. Now I wasn't tired, had nothing to do, and was still tra...- Lili must've slid off of me at some point, since she was on the floor, wrapped up like a burrito. I just took that in for a moment, shifted back, and took a picture of it. It was both adorable, and perfect for teasing material.

With that done, I got up, popped a few bones and shit when I stretched, and got ready to head out. Though before I did, I reached down to grab Lili, and put her on the couch before she could latch onto me. I nodded, and got ready to head out and do SOMETHING.

I was bored, so I needed SOMETHING to do. And what better way to kill boredom than to go kill some monsters? It was perfect.

I took one last look at Lili, then left.

After leaving, I walked the early morning streets, which were way emptier then I was expecting, and just went on my way to the dungeon. As I did, I just hummed a familiar tune. It was moments like this, just walking along without anything to do or someone to talk to, that made me miss having my playlist.

Sure Remnant had music and headphones, but the songs we had back home didn't exist there. That, and for some reason, Remnant didn't have the equivalent of Irish people and culture. So that made it worse in my opinion. "Damn... I'm missing good music way more than I thought I would." There were a few answers to this, and I knew them.

Go to a 'modern' world, and pray that it was similar enough to have what I wanted. Sure I could make construct instruments, but I wasn't a fucking musician. The fuck was I going to do? Recreate my favorite songs by memory?

Yeah, I'd rather not make a fool out of myself. I'd save it for whatever world we went to next.

Though that was an issue in itself. I had my objectives, sure, but I could deal with them easily. I didn't NEED to kill a god, I just wanted to. As I was, I could probably beat the Juggernaut into paste if I used my Werewolf Form, Wrath, super gravity, and a bunch of other shit. Bell and the others killed it before, so that meant I could do it too.

Then there was the 60th floor goal. If I wanted too, like, REALLY wanted too, I could do it right now. I could blitz the floors, tear everything that got in my way apart, and keep going till I reached that floor. Another way would be to just ignore everything, and just book it there. (A boring option, but still one I can do.) There was also the option of me breaking through the floors, and dropping straight down like I was playing Minecraft.

I had options, and I knew it, I just had no reason to use them though. I was enjoying chilling with the girls and everyone else. So just going through with completing one of my goals now, would kind of make no sense, but it'd also take some of the fun away since I'd be back to full strength the moment I did.

Besides, I would need the girls to agree on WHEN we wanted to leave, and WHERE we wanted to go.

We WERE a democracy after all. Though depending on where I wanted us to go next, I could make a good case for it.

I was going to go down that train of thought some more, when I paused. I was getting close to the dungeon, but ended up coming across someone.

Again.

"Heyo Ottar." The 'King' of Orario. He looked no different than earlier, though he WAS missing the sword he had earlier. (Guess he found Asterius... Well, the Minotaur that'll become Asterius... Unless something changes. I.E, me killing said Minotaur for the shits and giggles... Unless he hasn't and I'm just jumping to conclusions.) 'Plan' set, I just looked at Ottar. Sure we met last night, but I was still shifted when we did, so we didn't exchange words... Or anything really.

Ottar just looked me up and down again, then just grunted as he walked past me. No words, acknowledgement, or anything else. That was all he did, and I felt my ears and tail twitch as I scowled. (Did this fucker just dismiss me?) Now I usually didn't give a shit about what people did or what they thought of me, but that annoyed/moderately pissed me off. I wasn't going to pull a 'lowly mortal' spiel or something like that, but I was still going to do SOMETHING.

So I turned and reached out towards his shoulder, and dug my fingers into it. Ottar stopped, and turned his head, meeting my gaze and annoyed face. "The least you could do is say 'Hello' you big bastard." He just grunted again, and I could see a flicker of annoyance go through his eyes. There was something else too, but it went by too fast for me to read it.

Ottar reached towards my hand, and tried to pry it off his shoulder.

And that annoyed me even more. He didn't SAY anything about it, or me, and he was ticking me off. So I let my claws grow, and coated the tips in aura as they pierced his skin and anchored themselves into him. He didn't even grunt in pain as they did, and just kept his annoyed and dismissive face as he increased the pressure on my hand. I felt and heard some bones crack, so I let my aura come to life.

Even with half of my reserves, it would take a WHILE for someone like Ottar to break it. And if he couldn't break it, then my claws were going to stay inside his shoulder for a good amount of time.

Ottar realized that, and narrowed his eyes as we stared at each other. I refused to blink first, and it looked like he had the same thought.

So there we were, the two strongest people in all of Orario, and probably moments away from beating the shit out of each other. Ottar started to let out this low rumbling growl, and I matched him. I could've let my Wolf King's Aura deal with him, since he DID have animalistic instincts for it to scare into submission, but I didn't. That'd be too easy.

I let my fangs bare themselves, fangs that could easily tear through his throat if he so much as gave me a reason, and practically dared him to do something. Ottar held my gaze, not even reacting to my fangs, and after a few seconds...

He nodded. "Hello."

My everything twitched, and I was tempted to just say fuck it and stab him anyway. But I didn't. I took my claws out of his shoulder, and just narrowed my eyes as he rotated his now free shoulder. "Wasn't so hard now was it?"

Ottar just met my gaze again, and grunted. "Goodbye." He turned away, and just walked back to wherever the hell he was going. I wasn't sure where that was going to be, but I didn't care. I was too annoyed to care.

So I decided to put off kicking Ottar in the dick since he wasn't facing me, and decided to go vent in the dungeon. (I'll just go find a Bugbear and pretend it's him as I punch its face in.) That'd do the trick.

{2 hours later}

Sitting on the hill of the 18th, I just looked out. The floor was nice, and it helped me think. (When they give me a reason, I'm killing Ottar. I'll figure out whatever backlash comes from that after.) And that's what I decided on after taking my time to think about.

With that decided, I got back up, and jumped off the cliff.

Feeling the wind whip against me was nice, and made me think about trying skydiving with the girls sometime.

When I was about to reach the bottom, I used my gravity manipulation to remove my gravity, and just reached the bottom like I was a feather or something. (I need to do some superhero landings later. That'll be cool.) Which it would, but that was a thought for later.

I started walking to the nearest exit/entrance, and kept on thinking. I'd gone down the train of thought earlier, but now that I had some time to think about it, I kind of DID wonder when I should do my goals. (Cannon's just started... And the War Game's a month? Two? Away. Is anything else worth mentioning supposed to happen before that? Uh... No?I think... Either way, there's nothing that'd make me want or need to go all out. And we've only been here for two weeks, so I don't want to leave yet.) The girls were having a good time here too, so there was that. (They haven't leveled up yet either. Saeko's close, Rika's following her, Saya's coming in 3rd, then there's Shizuka. She doesn't go into the dungeon unless she feels like it. At Least she still comes to train whenever I tell the girls it's time.)

In Remnant, we usually trained for at least an hour every day, or every other day. But here? We trained once a week for 2-3 hours. Saya tested out magic and other crap against me, Saeko used her ice magic on me, and that was a weird experience. Rika found a way around her inability to make regular constructs, and practically turned into the Silver fucking Surfer. And Shizuka?

Shizuka still punched like a train, though we DID work more on her own fighting style. Just because I liked to punch and beat things to death, didn't mean SHE had to do it. Her style was still coming along, though it was progressing ok. And using her semblance during training was interesting. The fire didn't burn, it cleansed.

And did usual fire shit like melt ice, but it mostly healed and cleansed.

(Maybe when the girls all get to level 2, maybe even 3, we can start talking about moving onto our next world.) That sounded like a good idea, and one I'd bring up later.

Now, now I would just keep on walking till I got out of the dungeon.

{1 hour later}

Stepping outside of the dungeon, I took in the fact the sun was already up, and just blinked. "Welp, guess it's morning." That was the only thing I could really say there. Though I was kind of curious about whether or not the house was up. "I can just go find out." Which I could.

So I started walking home.

The streets were filling up, and it was interesting to see the differences. Food stalls were cropping up all over the place. (Almost like there's a festival or something coming up soon or something.) I snorted at that, and kept going.

I wasn't really looking for anything, just taking in the sights. Since I'd become Muzaka, I never really went to or experienced a festival. (HOTD went to shit too quickly, Remnant was already shit, but I missed the Vytal festival because Yin existed. Though I guess that's fine. I'll take a Gamer friend over going to a festival that gets interrupted by literal hellspawn, any day.) Not that I'd tell her that.

I kept on walking, then decided to drop off my earnings at the guild, again... But a minute into that decision, I changed my mind and decided against that. (Hestia hasn't given me or Bell our levels yet, and I'm not going to make another trip to the guild if I can help it... Stupid fucking fines.)

That decided, I went back to walking home.

{10 minutes later}

When I reached the church, I listened in for any sounds I could pick up. Though after a few seconds of listening, all I got were the sounds of snoring. (Fucking hell, are NONE of us morning people?) I was really starting to see a pattern here. (Note to self, find a morning person.) I smirked at that thought and opened the door.

Looking around, I saw Lili was still on the couch, right where I left her, and the hounds were both groggily looking at me. Houndoom grumbled a bit, then dropped his head back into his bed. Trix just gave me an annoyed glare, since she was very grumpy in the mornings, and followed Houndoom's example. I just rolled my eyes at them, and walked over to Lili.

Seeing my smol daughter look peaceful as she slept was an interesting thing.

Though I decided to make it even more interesting.

I poked her cheek.

She moved a little bit.

Another poke.

She started grumbling.

Pokepokepoke.

She opened her eyes, and tried to glare at me. But considering she just woke up, has an adorable case of bed head, and kept her ears and tail out, it was just not effective. "Papa... Why?"

I just grinned and poked her again. Lili pouted, and then tried to bite my finger.

She missed, but it was the fact that she tried that made it hilarious. "Oh no, looks like you'll have to try again." Lili grumbled even more, and so began the first game of 'Can she bite my finger?'

After a few minutes, the answer was unsurprisingly, no.

Sure she got close, but I was too fast for a groggy Lili to catch. (If this is what I get for being a dad, then I'll take it. I'm supposed to fuck with my kid, right?) I was pretty sure I was right, so I just internally nodded, and zoned back in.

Lili was still trying to bite my finger, but I heard the sounds of groaning, and movement, coming from Hestia's room. (Money's on Hestia. No way Shizuka woke up on her own.) I kept an eye on Hestia's door, while also playing with Lili.

"Guh... My he...- Oh... Uh... UHHH... WHY ARE YOU NAKED!?" Lili and I stopped at Hestia's shout, the hounds almost jumped, and I was pretty sure I heard something fall from Bell's room.

I ignored that last one for now, and just stared at Hestia's door. It was still closed, but it was the thought that counted. "... How much you want to bet Hestia's naked too?" Lili made a sound, then bit my finger.

I just turned to look at her because of that. She just met my gaze, then nodded as she let it go. "Lili bets 100 Valis that she is." I grinned at that. My little daughter liked making bets just as much as Rika did, and I was all for that.

"I'm in for 150." Lili grinned at me, and we sealed the deal with a nod. Though part of my mind realized this bet meant nothing since we both bet she'd be naked. (Eh, who cares?)

We both turned back to Hestia's door, and waited.

And a few seconds later, we got our answer. "WHY AM I NAKED?!" Lili and I snickered at that.

After sharing a look, which reminded me to dispel the aura blanket she was in, we got up, and went over to Hestia's door. I handed her my scroll, after I opened up the camera, then turned to the door when Lili confirmed we were rolling.

I cleared my throat, loudly, then knocked. "Ahem. Housekeeping." We heard Hestia squawk, but before she tried to say anything, I gently opened the door.

And mentally thumbed up the sight. Hestia and Shizuka were naked, Shizuka was still asleep, but had her arms wrapped around her victim as she was nuzzling the top of Hestia's head. Then there was Hestia herself, she was frozen in a 'pushing' motion, trying to get out of Shizuka's hold, as she stared at me, and Lili by proxy.

I took the sight in, especially Hestia's increasingly reddening face, and turned to Lili. "Smols, repeat after me." She gave me a confused look, but nodded as I turned back to Hestia and Shizuka. "Nice."

"...Nice?" Eh, it'd do.

I watched as Hestia went nuclear blush, and practically fainted. It only got better when Shizuka started grumbling, then pulled Hestia back into her... Though she started squirming, and I was pretty sure she DID pass out after a minute of being trapped in Shizuka's breasts... "She'll be fine." Lili hummed in agreement, and I closed the door to their room.

Looking over to Lili, she showed me the still recording video, and I grinned as I took my scroll back, and stopped it. After saving it, then putting my scroll away, I started ruffling Lili's hair, much to her happiness. I'd freely admit the 'hehehes' coming from her were adorable.

With even more blackmail secured, Lili and I, later joined by Bell, started our day.

The two of them went to brush their teeth and all that, while I went to the kitchen to make some breakfast.

Despite the world setting, our kitchen was as close to modern as we could get it. With some aura constructs, I made us a fridge that could double as a battering ram with how sturdy I made the thing. It actually worked too since Saeko made us a bunch of ice to put into it to keep everything nice and cold.

The thing was stocked with good meat, fruits and vegetables that we bought from the Demeter familia, eggs, and a few other things. "No cooking oil though... Fuck." That was fine. I'd make do without it. (At Least we have salt... Just wish it wasn't so fucking expensive.) I was REALLY missing a fallen economy and having an heiress friend.

I grabbed some eggs, Sword Stag and Battle Boar meat, salt, and some bread. "English breakfast for the win." With those out, and after putting the bread on the counter, I made aura pans and went over to the 'stove.' Now we didn't have gas, but that's where I came in. See, when I ate some FireBird, I got a nice little option from my semblance.

[Fire Manipulation] - Host can create and manipulate flames at will.

Sounds broken right?

Well it was. But I had to train it... Just like my gravity abilities, which I was STILL working on. A part of me knew I should've taken that Fire skill from the Infant Dragon, but it was too late for that. (Yin's fucking lucky as hell. 'Oh you have to spend time learning how to use and earn progress with your skills? Can't relate. I'll just go grind my skills and level them up.' Lucky bitch.)

Yin sneezed, which ended up making her stub her toe afterwards. "FUUU...-"

As it was right now, I could make a few simple flames and all that, but I couldn't really do much more yet. Not for lack of trying or power mind you. The issue was I had TOO MUCH power. My INT worked with my new fire ability, so instead of a matchstick, I'd get a napalm. I was also still working on my gravity abilities, my new signature, the moves I wanted to use when I DIDN'T want to blow up the area around me, and training Bell along with Lili and Welf.

My plate was kind of stacked... (YAAAANG!) I mentally screamed/groaned for a bit, then shook it off and went back to thinking about my fire powers.

Though there was some good news. When I got that skill, the flames when I use my Hellhound abilities got a SUPER boost, and I could also use fire in my base and Werewolf form. So that was cool. (I'm a fucking fledgling fire bender now.) Now I just needed some monk to go stalk after until he turns me into his best friend with the power of friendship.

I paused as I was about to crack my eggs, and just thought about it. (Can I pull an Azula and turn fire into lightning? Thought for later.) I went back to cracking my eggs into an aura bowl, and started letting the salt rain. I didn't do too much, and put the salt away when I was done with it.

One aura egg beater later, and I was pouring the eggs into their pan. I had the meats in their own pan, and started working my magic. (Which kinda means more here since my fire power's affected by my INT… Making it magic, somehow… Which fucks with me since I don't have a system to regulate it. The fact my INT isn't restricted either isn't doing me any favors. Ugh... Lucky bitch.)

Yin sneezed again, but luckily, didn't stub her toe again.

I shook that thought off, and held my palms out in front of me. (Not too much, I'm not trying to burn the church down.) Embers started flickering in my palms, and I focused on them. (A little bigger and warmer. Come on.) They flickered some more, and steadily started growing. They went from matchstick fire to almost blowtorch in the blink of an eye. "Too much! Little less, come on now." The flames flickered a little more, then settled on contained bonfire levels of flame. "Good." I let the flames float off my palms, underneath my pans, and started cooking.

I wasn't ambidextrous, but that didn't really matter. If it looked like I was going to fuck up, I'd fix it.

Though it probably wasn't a good idea thinking about fucking up breakfast WHILE I was making it. So I stopped thinking about that, and focused on cooking. Which was a funny thing in itself. Out of all the girls, only Saeko knew how to cook. Rika never cared about it, Saya only knew the BARE basics, and that applied to Shizuka too.

It was funny thinking that out of my three, four if I was going to include Hestia, wives, didn't know how to cook, while I did.

I just kept on cooking with a grin on my face as I thought about that, and almost paused when I heard an annoyed huff from Houndoom. I looked over to him, saw he was looking at the food I was cooking, and blinked... "Oh. I knew I was forgetting something." He gave me a growl for that, and I just rolled my eyes.

Making some aura hands, I opened the fridge, grabbed the massive LEG of Battle Boar meat, and dropped it into a bowl by my side. Houndoom and Trix got off their beds, and trotted over to said bowl. The hounds didn't need me to heat it up, they literally breathed fire, so they could do it themselves.

Though I had to bring out and pour some water for them, and us, since I forgot about that too.

With the hounds digging in, I refocused onto my own pans, and kept cooking.

I was about halfway done with the meal when I heard Bell and Lili coming. I spared a glance to the hall, and gave them a smile as they came in. They smiled back, and Bell went over to the living room. I've cooked for the house twice, both times before Lili joined us, so Bell knew I'd call him when I was done.

But Lili? She kept sniffing the air, and eventually came over to stand by my side. I made sure the fires were contained, so she would be fine even if her aura suddenly failed. "Lili didn't know Papa could cook." I felt the smallest bit annoyed at that.

"Well I can. Hell, I'm better at cooking than your mothers." Lili just blinked at that, then went thoughtful.

"... Lili could see it. Best Mama might burn down the kitchen while Mama Rika would try to shoot the food." I snorted at that latter image, and had to try not to drop the pans. Just imagining Rika getting fed up over cooking, and just saying fuck it as she shot it with Triple Tap was hilarious.

I talked with Lili some more, and kept cooking.

When I was done, I made some plates, knives and forks, then set the food on their plates.

Turning to Lili, I gave her the plate with her and Bell's food, ruffled her hair a bit, then sent her off to the living room. Seeing her scamper off, with a happy smile and wagging tail, finally solidified it for me. (Objective, become best dad. Papa, in Lili's case.) Part of my mind wondered if this was what my own parents felt, but it wasn't like I could ask them, so I shook that thought off.

I finished setting Shizuka and Hestia's plates, got aura hands to carry their water, and walked over to Hestia's room.

There didn't seem to be any movement coming from the other side, but I already made the food, so morning people or not, they were going to wake up and eat dammit.

Opening the door, I saw Hestia was still knocked out, and Shizuka was still blissfully asleep. (How she slept through Hestia shouting right in her face, I'll never know.) Her nose started twitching as I came in, and I saw her start to toss a bit. A good sign she was going to wake up. I went over to the desk Hestia kept her spare knife and paper in, and put their plates and water down.

Then going over to Shizuka, I started shaking her to wake her up. "Mo grá, it's morning." She started grumbling, said '90 more minutes' which did bring a smile to my lips, but I kept on shaking her. "I have food." That did it, and her eyes started opening.

When she got 'em open enough, she groaned, let go of Hestia, and reached out towards me. "Kiss. Gimme." I snorted at that, but did it anyway. I was pretty sure neither of us were going to get tired of doing that. Shizuka ate it up, and after we were done, she started stretching, and got off the bed.

Which made me realize Hestia was also awake now, but was pulling a 'his vision is based on movement' with how still she was. We just stared at each other for a few seconds, and I grinned. "Did you want one too Tiny?" Hestia squeaked, and hid under the covers as I said that. I felt an instinctual response to 'hunt' at that, but just shook it off.

"You should. Silver gives the best kisses." I looked to Shizuka at that, and she just smiled. "It's true! The morning kisses are the best of the best!" I snorted, and just looked back to the still hiding Hestia.

She peeked the top of her head out, and I could tell she was contemplating it. I decided to wriggle my brows at her, which amused both her and Shizuka, and got the little goddess to peek the rest of her head out. "A... Just a peck!" That was fine. I leaned over, met her lips, and gave her a peck.

Shizuka went 'yeah!' In the background, but neither of us paid it much mind. Hestia looked a little dazed, and I pulled back to go eat. Though before I left the room, I looked back at Hestia. "Bell and I need our levels later, so don't take TOO long Tiny." Hestia just slowly nodded at that, and I left the room.

It was time to eat.

{10 minutes later}

With us all fed and watered, we moved into the 'level up' room, and started with Bell.

His level up went by without much worth mentioning happening. He got Argonaut, the usual. Though when he got Luck, I swore something in the universe must've shifted.

That, or it could've been my imagination.

After Bell, it was my turn. I was tempted to make a 'you like being on top?' joke, but when my system(?) reacted to Hestia starting the update, I focused on that instead of the goddess straddling my back.

Looking at it all, I appreciated that it looked less like a mess, and more organized. I was kind of annoyed that my INT turned into 'Arcane' since it basically meant I had no 'Intelligence' and took that as an insult. But other than that, my eyes stayed on the new 'feature' I had. (No shot.) I had to test this.

~Yup.~

~Ugh. Whatever. Could you stop this now, I'm kinda in the middle of something.~

~Ok. BOP~ I kicked Rika out of the 'party' which didn't have a screen or anything, and felt a vindictive happiness that I could do that now. (Note to self, find a way to kick Yin out of a party.) I was being petty, I knew it, I just didn't care.

"Maccillian? Hellooo? Anyone there?" I didn't notice when Hestia had gotten off my back, and started to tap my head, but I was paying attention to it now.

I looked at her, and just sat up. "Yeah, I'm here." Hestia just nodded, then went over to put the knife away. She didn't take any paper to give me or write my stats down since I could view them whenever I felt like it, so her trip over there was a quick one.

With Hestia done with that, I wrapped my sweater around my waist again, and walked out of the room with her. Hestia was practically beaming as we walked into the living room.

When we got there, Hestia dived into an empty couch, and started laughing maniacally. "2 weeks! 2 weeks and two of my kids are already level 2! Suck it Loki! Who needs Wallenwhatzit?! NOT I! WOOHOO!" We all, hound included, just stared at her.

On some unspoken signal, Shizuka and I took out our scrolls, and started recording.

This would make for some great blackmail.

[Omake - Ugh, politics. Kiriko's general POV]

It's been a few months since Maccillian up and ditched us with his harem, and I've got to say, it's been ANNOYING.

You'd think a world that's post it's post apocalyptic stage would calm down while everyone tries to rebuild.

Right?

Well you'd be half right. Japan was the calmest nation standing after the whole 'Zombies are here and they want your brain' thing. The Takagi's managed to become a 'Founding family' of Japan, and held one of the highest seats in the military now. They weren't the only ones mind you, somehow, Tadashi and I got another seat. I didn't know HOW, but I wasn't complaining... At the time.

I'll get into that later.

Outside of Japan was a different story though. America was kind of a clusterfuck. We had a few JSDF bases under construction, the American military, what was left of it, was there too, and so were the Russians for some reason. Don't ask me why, they just WERE. It confused the fuck out of me, and the rest of the pack when one of our bases there told us 'The Russian's are coming.' Sure, I might've laughed my ass off at the phrasing, but I was still paying attention to the report.

Turns out, a few of the subs they had, the ones that didn't get overrun, managed to survive with its crew intact. They surfaced IN AMERICA, FOR SOME REASON, and that led to a standoff between the JSDF and Americans, because no one there spoke Russian.

This whole incident reached the ears of whatever was left of the EU/British government. I was blaming those astronauts we got in contact with a week ago. So now we had this whole situation unfolding in front of us.

But what was the solution we all came to?

Well, that leads me to where I'm at now. Standing in the old UN assembly, in full uniform, with the rest of the pack here with me. We were there to guard the Takagi's, despite the fact they didn't need it, and to make sure no one started shooting.

Despite the fact we killed all the zombies, we were pretty sure we did, everyone kept a firearm or melee weapon on them out of habit.

Though, even if we were shot, we'd be fine. So I still didn't see the point of us being here.

And then the assembly started, and I just audibly groaned as loud as I could.

Wondering why?

Well the first line out of the American's and Russian's mouths were pretty much 'We want our own Werewolves.'

This 'assembly' was going to be annoying, I could just FEEL it.
