{10 minutes later}

After Hestia rebooted, we clued Bell into Hestia wanting to be with me. He just looked at us, nodded, then went back to his room. I think that was the most 'I'm too tired to properly respond to this' moment I've ever seen out of anyone. Though to be fair, I was also pretty sure I just opened a whole new world to him. Sure Welf was after Hephaestus and her 'I could bench you' type of sexy, but now he knows he could maybe get with a goddess...

(There's foreshadowing here, and I'm not going to pay attention to it.)

Going from there, Hestia, Shizuka, Lili, the hounds and I, just chilled in the living room. Hestia was slowly getting used to having her head on my chest, and Shizuka ended up deciding to go over to my other side to cuddle.

Lili was still laying with the hounds, and it was just really nice. No evil witch spying on us, no monsters of darkness to poke to death. Just a nice relaxing moment.

Though after a bit, Shizuka shot up, and had a look on her face that was both pure joy, and undeniably mischievous. I just looked at her, and watched as she grabbed Hestia, then started running to the door. "WE HAVE TO TELL THE COUNCIL! WE'LL BE BACK SILVER! LOVE YOU, BYE!" Hestia was screaming with every ounce of confusion in her, and I just reflexively said 'love you too' as Shizuka dragged Hestia away.

When the door closed, I just took a few seconds to look at the door, then shrugged. She said they'd be back later, and they would. So now it was time to just find something else to do. (Now what can I do here?)

With that in mind, I looked around the room, and met Lili's gaze. We looked at each other for a bit, and after a few seconds, Lili got up, came over, and sat by my side. She snuggled into me, and I just held her. We didn't say anything, me 'cause this was nice and I didn't feel like it, and Lili for whatever re...- "Lili likes this. All of this. It's weird, very illogical, and also crazy. But Lili likes it." Or she could interrupt my thoughts with that.

I hummed, and just thought about it. "Sooo... That means you forgive me for yoinking you off the street?" Lili started giggling at that.

"Yes. Lili forgives you a hundred times over papa. Just warn Lili the next time you want to 'yoink' her anywhere." I just had to snort at that.

"No promises." Lili 'whined' at that, and started poking me.

I just grinned as she did, and she huffed. "Papa is lucky Lili has had time to think about that." Hm?

"And what're your thoughts about this smols?"

She started humming, and I rubbed her ears as she did. She appreciated it, and snuggled in closer. "It's strange. Lili was just... Used to the treatment of Soma familia and the other adventures. The looks of disgust, the plans to use Lili, to make our work be something we hated." She went quiet at that, and I just held her closer. Which was pretty difficult since we were at maximum cuddle. "Then everything changes one day out of nowhere." I smiled at that. Lili met my smile with one of her own, and her tail started wagging a storm. "Papa comes along, yoinks Lili off the street, and then gives us a family. Best Mama's warmth. The smile and face she wears, that tells you your loved and safe."

I snorted at that. Shizuka's 'best mama' title was still hilarious to me. "Then there's Mama Rika and her happy and laid back nature." Rika was basically the most chill out of us, especially here. She hung out with Aisha, the twins in Loki's familia, and us. "Bis sis Saya who likes to teach Lili new things whenever she has the time." Key words were that last part. Saya was going through her 'mad doctor' phase again, but she made time for us. "Then there's the other Big sister Saeko." Saya had THE big sister spot, but Lili still called Saeko big sister. "Lili knows she's dangerous. But she still loves us, the kids in the orphanage, and everyone else."

Which was true. Saeko was starting to mellow out now. We knew she still liked and partially craved tearing something or someone into pieces, but it was getting easier for her to ignore now. It was an unintended side effect, but a welcome one. Sure Hestia still got a little uneasy around Saeko when she was all 'stabby stabby die' mode, but it was whatever.

Lili paused again, then she looked up to me. I could tell she was happy and relaxed, and that was good. "Then there's papa." Now I was curious about what she had to say about me. "Lili didn't know what to do with you at first. Lili never really had family, ones who acted like them, so a papa and two mamas, and some sisters, was too much to handle on the spot." I snorted at that, but let her go on. "But whenever you were there, Lili just knew. We don't know what it is, but we know. We're safe, and that Papa will protect us." There it was again.

I wasn't sure what it was, maybe it was my charisma, but people kept saying they felt safe around me. (Pretty sure I'd have that as a perk if I had Yin's system. Oh well, I'll just take it. Besides, it's helpful.) That aside, I looked at Lili, who looked thoughtful, and waited on her next bit.

"But, even if Lili had to be 'yoinked' off the street again, Lili wouldn't mind. That was the best day of our life. We're sure of it." She gave me a smile after that, and I smiled right back... After ruffling her hair alot. She took it in, and we just relaxed on the couch. We stayed there, silent, and just took it in. It was maybe... A minute? Later, that she said something."... Papa?"

"Yes smols?"

"Does Lili have to call Lady Hestia mama now?" I snorted again. But that turned into outright laughter when I had that image in my head.

"N-No. But when she and Shizuka get back, please do it. I'll record it and everything." Lili's eyes shone with my kind of mischief, and I was looking forward to when they came home... From whatever it was that Shizuka dragged Hestia off to do.

{Saeko's POV 5 minutes later}

After my revelation, I worked on my new ability, and tempered both it and myself. Having access to the dungeon, a place I could torment monsters to both relieve myself of my hunger, and temper it, was a godsend. Pun not intended. (But still, it is mildly infuriating that I do not know all of the intricacies of my new ability.) It was versatile, I knew that, but training it was annoying to some extent. ('The creeping chill of winter' has far too many interpretations. Why it couldn't simply be called Cryomancy is beyond me.) Because that was what my new ability seemed to be.

I gained a magic geared towards ice. It was amusing that out of the four of us, it was Shizuka and I that gained magic abilities first. Saya was still cross with me because of it, but that was fine. Her pouting face was very adorable.

But back to my new magic. There was a single line I was required to chant, if I wanted its full effects, and it was as cryptic as my magic's description. 'Encase the world in silence and ice.'

That aside, I was returning from my trip to the dungeon, I heard my lord had dove today, so I felt a desire to do so as well. I had yet to pass the 17th floor, not for a lack of ability, but because I wished to face the Goliath first. But due to Loki familia's dive, it had been slain, and I had to wait for it to respawn. It was a normal dive, and I wasn't expecting much to happen. Nothing did, but it was still enjoyable.

I didn't expect anything to happen on my way back to the orphanage, which was starting to do better due to me sharing my earnings with my familia, either, and so far, nothing had happened.

So one could understand my confusion when something DID happen. I picked up the sound of running, and familiar voices, so I turned to them. That's how I heard and then saw Shizuka, dragging along a shouting Hestia, come my way. (Oh dear. What has she done now?) Shizuka was chaotic, we all knew it, but it made for us never having a boring day.

When Shizuka and I made eye contact, her smile only grew. "Saeko! She did it!" I blinked as she shouted that, and had to think just WHAT that pertained to.

Then my eyes trailed to Hestia, and when the two of them made it to me, I grinned. Hestia looked embarrassed, and Shizuka's earlier words finally made sense. "So we have a new sister mate?" The goddess blushed at that, and I knew I was right. "Oh my. Now this is going to be VERY intriguing." Hestia blushed some more, and I could feel my tail sway in a predatory fashion. I was going to have a field day with this information.

Hestia shivered under my gaze, and I licked my lips. "Fufufu. Welcome to the harem Hestia." Shizuka cheered at that, and we went off to gather Saya and Rika.

{Saya's POV 10 minutes later}

"Mana... Mana's annoying." The books I read about magic, including the one I 'found' helped me find it, but it was still strange to me. My earlier analogy with aura just couldn't be used when it came to the fuel for magic. Our aura fit into place like a perfectly designed machine. Each version of aura had a purpose, and melded together so those purposes could serve as a greater whole.

And then there was mana. Mine flowed wherever it wanted too, and was just hard to grasp. I knew that was the sign of an affinity, one for water, but it was just so annoying! It wouldn't stay still, do what I told it to do, or just listen to me! It was like I was trying to tell a toddler to stand still. It was impossible!

And I couldn't separate the mana from my affinity either. So anytime I tried to use a spell, or tried to shape something with my mana like I did aura, it would end up a disaster. I even tried shaping a cup with mana, and the thing started to lose its form, and just 'melted' into a puddle on the ground. Even with Laplace and my Analyze, it was infuriating. (I just want to use magic, who the hell made it so difficult?) I growled as my current project to enchant with magic and Zaka's method, failed.

"Magicians make it look so easy in anime. Shape the mana, say the name, boom you have a spell. It's bullshit! I'd have an easier time beating Saeko in hand to hand than I would trying to contain mana acting like a drunkard." Cinder started chuckling in the corner, and I glared at her. "I don't see YOU learning magic!" Cinder just looked away, and tried to whistle. I growled at her, then turned back to my project. "Of course I had to get the fast learning smartass." Cinder was easy to distract or threaten though, so that balanced it out.

I ignored my annoyance at her, then turned back to the desk I was sitting at. I had the book from earlier, the first guide to magic I found with Athena's help, the book on affinities, and my spare notebook from Polendina all open in front of me.

I didn't NEED them, since Archive helped me memorize them, but I still appreciated having a physical copy of the books within arms reach to read and take notes with.

I steadied my breathing, and focused on the mana within me. Unlike aura, I had to manually search for this pool, and focus on bringing it up. Aura was instinctive, even with the addition of Remnant's and K's aura. I was still working on a trigger to speed up the process, but I hadn't decided on one yet. (Might be because I've been jumping from subject to subject, but to be fair, there's just so much to learn.) I knew I was only getting a fraction of the full potential of my skills out from doing that, but me jumping from different fields had its merit. (The more I store in Archive, the easier it'll be to pick them up later when I have the time. I have a library full of information to learn, I can hard focus on the next thing I want to learn AFTER I've cataloged everything I want to learn.)

I knew I was contradicting myself, focusing on my magic and this enchanting thing, but no one was going to call me out on it. (Because they don't know.) It'd be embarrassing since I've had way too many failures at the moment. I shook that thought off, and went back to focusing on my project. I focused on shaping a knife made of aura, and imbued with magic, then tried to make it keep its form.

Though that was difficult since my mana didn't want to be contained. I could tell that it wasn't working, and it was going to fail. "Ugh! There goes attempt #13. Next attempt should have less mana then? Or should I try reinforcing the pathways? Maybe make them smoother so my mana doesn't throw a fit when I pour it in." I grumbled as I mentally/physically wrote down those ideas, and laid back into my chair. Another failure, and more ideas on how to improve. I knew failure was the father of innovation and all that crap, but I didn't like failing. I WAS and WOULD BE better than something that failed.

But it was fine, it was just me and Cinder in the room. And aside from her, no one else would see me fa...- "SAYAAA!" My door was kicked down, and I turned to see Shizuka striding in with Saeko and Hestia by her side. I just raised a brow to the interruption, thankful that I already dismissed my failure, and looked at them.

Shizuka was way too happy for some reason.

Saeko had her teasing grin on, which made me slightly tense.

Then there was Hestia. She was embarrassed, blushing as she looked between me and the girls, but had a smell I recognized around her. She smelled like Zaka, and I could tell there was more to it. (Shizuka's happy. Saeko's in a teasing mood. And the goddess Shizuka and Zaka stay with is looking embarrassed... Even if she didn't have Zaka's smell lingering on her, it doesn't take a genius like me to figure it out.) I zoned back into now, and looked at them. "So, who made the first move?"

Shizuka grinned, then turned to Hestia. Saeko shot the goddess a teasing grin, then leaned onto her. I just blinked as the short goddess blushed, and I couldn't hide my surprise. "I was expecting Zaka to do it. But Hestia? Oh I've GOT to hear about this." Shizuka smiled, and came over to grab me.

I just looked at her as she did, and let her drag me out of my room. "Now we need to get Rika. Then, we party!" Oh...

Saeko and I shared a look, and I was pretty sure we both knew we should be worried. Ever since Zaka started working with Soma, Shizuka practically laid claim to all of the wine Zaka brought back. She wasn't addicted to it, none of us would allow her to drink something that could do that. She just REALLY liked it... Mostly because a single glass got her shitfaced.

And like we learned before becoming Werewolves. A drunk Shizuka was a VERY affectionate Shizuka. Unless Rika or Zaka were with us, one of us was going to need to throw the other under the very sexy bus that was Shizuka.

Saeko and I held the look for a few seconds, and by some unspoken signal, we both looked at Hestia. She saw us look at her, but got distracted when the nurse in question grabbed her, and started marching with us in hand. Saeko and I looked at each other, and we both knew who we were going to throw at Shizuka. (Hopefully she forgets to get the wine.)

After saying sorry to Athena, and promising to repair the door, we were off.

{Rika's POV another 10 minutes later}

There was something real gratifying about beating an Amazon in an arm wrestling contest. Sure I might've beaten Aisha in one before, but I had to go full Werewolf to pull that win out of my ass. But not this time. "Well well well, would you look at that. Looks like the tabs on you sis."

Aisha just got up, and rolled her eyes at me. "Whatever. My arm was just cramping that time so it doesn't count." Excuse me?

"Oh we're not making excuses now are we sis? You wouldn't go so low now would you?" She just smirked, paid the barkeep our tab, and started walking off. "Hey! Wait up!" I chased after her, and wrapped my arm around her shoulder when I caught up to her. Aisha just gave me a smirk, and wrapped one of her arms around my shoulders.

"ANYWAY. You got anything planned for later sister?" Huh?

I thought about it, and unless something came up, I should be free. "Nope. Why, what's up?"

My sister from another mother hummed, then looked in the direction of the red light district. "Well, apparently my familia's got a celebration going on later, I think one of our girls leveled up, and I wanted you to come with me. It'd give me the chance to introduce you to a friend of mine too. Two birds one stone and all that crap."

I thought about it, and didn't really see anything wrong with that. "Su...-"

"RIKAAA!" Or Shizuka could just interrupt me.

Aisha and I turned to her, and I blinked. "Well... It looks like SOMETHING came up." Seeing the girls, plus Hestia, were with her, I knew something was up.

The girls came over, and Saya interrupted Shizuka before she even opened her mouth. "Hestia confessed to Zaka. We've got a plus 1 now." I blinked, took that in, then looked at the REAL short stack.

"Well I'll be damned." I took my arm off of Aisha, and walked over to the goddess. We all liked her, and now that she was going to be with us, I got the chance to do something I thought about ever since I met her.

I reached down, and got a handful of goddess tits. Hestia went red, panicked, then ran over to hide behind Shizuka. "WHY?! WHO DOES THAT TO SOMEONE?!" I just cackled and flexed my fingers in her direction.

"Don't be like that Short stack. You've got some real nice ones. I'm not even annoyed that they're a bit bigger than mine." And I wasn't lying either. Those things were really soft.

"TH-THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN JUST GRAB THEM LIKE THAT!" I just grinned, and took a step towards her. She panicked again, and ran behind Saeko this time. But Crazy was on my side, and held Hestia in place. "TRAITOR!" We both cackled as I came closer.

"Don't worry, I'll take real good care of you." Hestia looked at Saya and Shizuka, but they just watched on. They knew I'd stop if she REALLY wanted me too. And we all knew she was only putting up a token resistance. (Being taken advantage of is a kink for her? Or is it being in public? I'll need to let Silver know.) I filed that away for later, and moved in.

Then I paused when I heard Aisha clear her throat. I looked over to her, and saw the smirk she had on her face. "Looks like you'll be busy. I guess I'll see you tomorrow sister." Aww.

I waved at her, and watched as she started heading out. "See ya later sis!" She waved back, and after she was gone, I turned back to the goddess in Crazy's arms, and readied my hands. Hestia looked worried, but it'd be fine.

She'd thank me later. And so would Silver now that I thought about it. And as my fingers sunk into Hestia's bust, I had another thought. (Silver's going to have a field day when he hears about Hestia's 'kink' or whatever it is... Actually, the fuck is Silver doing anyway?)

{Maccillian's POV same time}

"No no no, it's YEET. Not yett. Here, try again." Lili just looked at me, and grabbed the aura ball I made.

She turned back to the wall, reared her arm back, and threw it. "YEET!" The ball got caught by Houndoom, who decided to mess with me teaching Lili, and we shrugged. "Lili doesn't feel any different Papa."

"You're not supposed to. It's just a fun thing to say and do." It didn't look like she was buying it, so I just gave her more head pats to buy her agreement. Her tail wagged, and she smiled as I did, so that meant I was successful. "Now come on. I have much to teach you young Padawan." She didn't get the reference, but that was fine. I'd make her a meme queen, and she'd get it when her journey was complete.

{Rika's POV}

(Eh, it doesn't matter. I'll ask 'em later.) I was about to think of something else, but then the wolf whistling from some random people on the street brought me back to the now.

Saya looked around, then clicked her tongue when she noticed all the guys looking at us. "Let's head over to the hostess. We don't need to give these people a show." We all agreed with that, so I let go of Hestia's putty like tits, and formed up as we walked down the road.

Though after a few seconds, I paused. "Who's paying? Cause it sure as hell ain't me." Saya snorted, and the other girls looked at each other.

"I didn't bring any money with me, so don't think about dumping this on me." Well there was Saya's piece.

The girls looked to me, and I just put my hands up. "Don't even think about it. I JUST won against Aisha, no way in hell am I paying."

Then we all looked at Saeko. I didn't dive today, Saya didn't either, Shizuka didn't care about diving, so that only left her. And from the bulge in her satchel, heh, she had money on her. Seeing our looks, Saeko sighed, and fished out the pouch carrying her Valis. "It would appear today is on me then. Very well, let's party girls." We cheered, and went off to the hostess.

Sure there were other places to party at, but the hostess just felt right.

That, and they had a cat girl.

Cat girls made everything better.

{An hour later}

Watching Shizuka 'cuddle' Saeko, in a hug where we ALL heard something crack, was always great. We didn't question the fact it went THROUGH Saeko's aura, again, and just let it happen.

Though Saeko was giving me and Saya the stink eye. The two of them tried to throw Hestia under the bus, but I saved her from that. (Don't want her to die before we get her in bed.) Sure I knew Shizuka wouldn't hurt the short stack, but it was the thought that counted. Saeko wasn't really THAT annoyed, cause when the two of them are pressing their tits together, making a nice image, then it's hard to be annoyed at anything.

I looked away from that, and turned to Hestia. She was sitting next to Saya, and out of my reach, so unfortunately, no nice titty gripping for me. "Hey Short stack?" Hestia, and the rest of the girls looked at me, and I went on. "What's the plan for getting a taste of Silver's sword?" Hestia blinked. Once, then twice, and after the third, she got it.

The shade of red she went was something I've only seen Saya and Bell go when they're teased. "I-I-I... WH...- I CAN'T...- UGH!" Hestia was the only one of us that was actually drunk, so words were tough for her. She was a 'sleep sounds good' drunk. That, combined with what I just asked her, made her drop her head onto the table, and just mumble a bunch of crap.

"Despite Rika's manner of saying it, that IS an interesting topic."

"The crazy bitch is right. Though while we CAN talk about it, that doesn't really mean we should." We all turned to Saya at that. She just raised a brow to our looks, then took a sip of her beer. "I'm not sure why you're all looking at me like that. Hestia's not like us after all."

I blinked, and just had to say it. "And what's that supposed to mean Smarts?"

She shrugged, then put her mug down. "To be fair, other then me, the three of you fucked Zaka WAY faster then normal. Though again, to be fair, normal stopped mattering after the literal apocalypse."

Eh, she had a point there. I fucked him like, a half hour after meeting him... (Those were good times.)

"While that may be true, I doubt any of us regret it." And Saeko was right. "I certainly know I don't."

"I'm with Crazy on that. After the shit I went through, I needed a good dicking. And it was good." Saeko and Shizuka nodded at that, and I joined 'em. "See, they're with me!"

"Uhuh. I never said I regretted it, which I don't and never will, I'm just making a point. Hestia might not want to just dive into something like this. We should let her set her own pace."

It was partially annoying when Saya made sense. "I'll address your point afterwards, but first. Saya?" We looked at Saeko. "We haven't really talked about YOUR first that much. Unfortunately, none of us were there to watch it." Oh. A nice jab.

Saya huffed, and took another sip of her beer. "Shut it! You've fucked with me about that for months already!"

Saeko just smirked, and hummed. "True. Now, back to your first. How was it, playing queen of the palace?" Saya grumbled, and decided to just chug her beer. When she was done, she almost slammed it onto the table.

"For your information, it was great. Zaka made an excellent throne." Saeko and I snorted, Hestia spluttered in embarrassment, and Shizuka started humming.

And we all knew something was coming. "Since I'm technically the queen, does that mean I can make you sit on me? I don't have a penis, but I bet Silver would make me a strap on if I asked." Thank fucking god I wasn't drinking, cause I know I would've started choking.

And not in the fun way.

The image of Shizuka with a strap on must've beamed itself into all of our heads, since Saya blinked, and decided being conscious wasn't worth the effort. (I swear, she must've mastered that now. No way that was natural.) Now that WAS a good image, I wasn't going to deny it, but atleast I stayed conscious with that in my mind. I looked over to Saeko, who was actually blushing at the image, and I could tell she was getting horny from it. Turning to Shizuka, she still looked like she was deep in thought, and I decided to look at the only other woman at our table...

"And she's out of it." The girls turned to me, then Hestia when I said that, and they both just hummed.

"What a waste. Both of our teasing targets have exited the stage." I agreed with that. I DID want to fuck with Hestia some more, but it could come later. For now, we'd drink some more, have a girls night to ourselves, and do whatever the fuck we felt like doing.

[Omake - What in the fresh hell? Roman's POV]

Red was gonna lose. I knew it, she knew it, the Grimm in the sky knew it. I just had to put the final nail in the coffin. "You got spirit Red, but this is the real world! The real world is cold. The real world doesn't CARE about spirit! As for me? I'll do what I do best! Lie, steal, cheat, and I'll SURVIVE!" The look on Red's face as I said that made me feel better.

Then I didn't feel anything at all.

And wasn't THAT the damnedest thing? One second I'm crushing some brats hopes and dreams, then nothing. Nada. Zilch.

Then BOOM! I'm looking up at Neo, my favorite little psychopath, and a bunch of other people. Now I noticed I wasn't jailed, cuffed, or tied to a bed, which I wouldn't be unless it was just me and whatever lucky lady I found for the deed, so I was kind of relaxed. I knew I was SUPPOSED to be fighting Red on that Atlas ship, but I wasn't. So I did what I did best.

Go with the flow.

I didn't know where we were, so I took in the surroundings and the people... And noticeable of all, Red... And... "What the hell?" That's all I got out before Neo crashed into me like a dust round. "What the he...-"

"You said that already. Say something else Roman." Blinking, I recognized that voice, and turned to...

"Ok. What the actual fuck is going on?" Looking around the woods? I saw Red, Yellow, The not Raven girl, an older Red? And then the big bitch herself.

Raven Branwen... Drinking a smoothie? I looked back to Neo, and just stared at her. If anyone had answers to this weird tr...- "I'm tripping balls aren't I?" Raven snorted, and I was pretty sure her spawns did the same.

"You're not, you clown. My daughter just brought you back from the dead, show some respect before I put you back into the ground." I twitched. Sure she LOOKED harmless, but that was Raven Branwen, she could and WOULD go through with it. She was the leader of a tribe of bandits. One of the most dangerous criminals this side of Remnant. A sign that you were going to di...-

The not Raven nudged her mother in the ribs, and gave her a look. "Mother. I'm not going to have you re-kill Roman RIGHT AFTER I brought him back." Raven just rolled her eyes at that.

(Or she could be cowed by her clone. Yeah. Because THAT makes sense.) I had no idea what the hell was going on anymore. (Brought back from the dead? Yeah, why not?)

"I can still threaten the man clown. Besides, you said 'right after' so another day is still on the table." Her spawn rolled her eyes, and just turned to me... And that made me notice that we were still here? Neo should've put an illusion around us so we could've hopped, skipped, and ran our assess out of here.

But she didn't.

So I read the room, and just looked as non threatening as possible. I could do that.

Then I'd figure out what the fresh hell was going on.
