The Wolf prowling across dimensions by Pandora's Reader

 Highschool of the Dead & My Hero Academia/僕のヒーローアカデミア Xover Rated: M, English, Family & Adventure, [OC, Rika M., Shizuka M., Saeko B.], Words: 820k+, Favs: 1k+, Follows: 1k+, Published: Nov 17, 2021 Updated: Nov 9 779Chapter 63: A fluff a day

Pandoras_Supporter/Pandora's Supporter and all that.

Kaiser - Thanks for all the reviews and what you've said.

Jaimon/Tasty/Tryson - I'll go for it with the next one.

Anyway, you know the drill. Unedited chapter, we got like 7 to go before we finish this saga.

{One week later. Maccillian's POV}

After whatever the fuck last week was, we all, hounds included, took some time off from the dungeon.

Well, I say that, but I was given an ultimatum. 'Don't enter or provoke the dungeon, or be fined!' With it being confirmed 'my fault' that the dungeon threw a fit, I wasn't 'allowed' to bring out my Sword of Damocles within Orario. That day, Hestia, Shizuka, and Lili had to keep me from throwing a TOTW at the guild.

I was still going to go though, I just wasn't going to get caught whenever I did.

That aside, I still trained myself, and everyone else while we took our break. Bell's training was interesting. After grabbing Abnormal Resistance for his Development Ability, I picked Spirit Healing when Shizuka told us it worked with aura, I might not have needed it right now, but with it, I could regen faster whenever I was low, or had it hampered by my restrictions.

Anyway, we worked on his new stats. At level 3, Bell moved as fast as Ruby did before her change. His reaction time was increasing, he could actually take hits now, and I could feel it whenever he punched me.

Then came his semblance. The special ability he got earlier really was bullshit.

The first session, they lasted 2-4 hours depending on the day, we already saw improvements after the 1 hour mark. Bell went from using 30% in 5 minutes of continuous use of Ruby's semblance, to 25% at the end of the hour.

Yup. The lucky little shit improved by 5% IN AN HOUR! I was so tempted to bash my skull into the wall when we figured that out, but I didn't. I just settled for grumbling about 'protagonist bullshit.'

Ruby's semblance was the easiest for him to train in since it was a singular ability, while I had 4 for him to choose from. It was kind of hard to train Shizuka's semblance since we needed people to heal, and none of us could do it for him. Now that he had Werewolf healing, he also had the ears and tail, he couldn't stay hurt for long.

Lili also had our healing, so she couldn't do it.

Hestia was a no go, she also had our healing, which was the only other thing she got from my bite.

Repeat both of the above 4x with Houndoom, Trix, Mari and me. Hell, we couldn't even train it on Welf since I gave him my bite too.

Though I did get a secret thank you from Hephaestus for making her crush a 'wolf boy.' I didn't tell him about that, because it was funny.

Anyway, back to Bell and his bullshit.

We worked on Ruby's semblance for the majority of the sessions, but we also worked on mine. The consumption of using my gravity went down by 20%, my constructs cost 10% less, and were more solid than before. My Wrath was a hard one for him to train, but he got it to 1.8x, and reduced the consumption by like, 5%.

The interesting thing was that after his change, Bell was given one of my other skills to make up for losing my wolf form.

The lucky skill was my fire ability. Fun fact, the first time he used it, and after checking with Saya, we found out he now had a permanent fire affinity. It was like the world said 'aww, you poor thing, have a cookie.' I was calling bullshit on everything.

Though now, it helped the two of us learn how to use it. Because for as much as it annoyed me, having someone to learn a new skill together gave me another brain to pick with it.

Sure it said 'advanced fire control' but I didn't have it under control right from the start. At best, I could create small constructs like knives and puppies, but nothing big, or else I'd lose control. And let me tell you, losing control of white, almost silver fire, was not healthy. The walls I'd reinforced had boiled, and practically turned to magma... So yeah, that skill was VERY dangerous if I didn't learn how to control it properly.

Other than Bell, we worked on Lili's new ability, and how to be sneaky. Out of all of us, the only one who could be sneaky was Rika. Even without her skill, she was a trained soldier that knew what she was doing.

Though when she wasn't training with Rika, she was with me, working on her speed. My daughter was smol and sneaky. All she needed was to be fast as fuck, and she was the perfect assassin... (I feel like there's a problem with that thought, but oh well.) That was one side of that thought process. On the other side... (I should make her an Assassin's Creed cowl. That'd be both cool, and funny as shit. Just the thought of Lili diving off a roof, into a bail of hay, is too great of an opportunity to pass up.) Yup.

She was doing great, and was currently on a training regimen of running under 2x gravity, while running around the training grounds. Bell was up to 3x gravity, while Welf was under 1.5x.

We also started teaching her how to fight with knives. I say we, but it was more Saeko. I still didn't use weapons, but I started exploring the idea after thinking about what kind of weapon I'd use. I was tempted to make a Great Sword, since that was my favorite weapon to use in MH. Though I would always make other characters, and use different weapons the whole time. (Funny story. In MHW, I made a new character, to play through it again with a friend, and that character ended up my new main with over 700 hours on her.)

But I didn't really know what'd I do with it... Other than 'Big sword go WHABLAM! I didn't feel like using guns either, so I was kinda stuck on the whole weapons front.

Again, back to Lili.

She was doing great, and we all like seeing her progress.

Welf trained with them too, and like I said earlier, his regiment was currently going for 1.5x gravity, and trying his best to avoid Saeko. The fear of Saeko was a wonderful motivator for anyone.

Though when he wasn't training, he was bugging Saya about aura constructs. See, Welf was interested about smelting using aura, which was something Saya got interested in too, so now THAT was also on her plate. They were curious about having Blacksmith interact with aura ingots, which while yes, WERE a thing, they were complicated. Making an aura ingot depended on a few factors.

The amount of aura poured into the ingot.

Control that would make it an actual ingot, and not some dense block of aura.

An enchantment that made it malleable.

A few more things, but you get the point... So naturally the both of them came to me, and after making them 100's of ingots, they didn't ask for anymore. They were still testing, and trying to smelt aura and other ingots together. They still didn't have any luck, but they were still trying.

The hounds were training too, but that's for later.

Mine, and the girl's training was going good.

Shizuka could make aura constructs now, I mean actual constructs too... Like a copy of Boomstick... Just bigger. (Think Reinhardt's hammer.) The training grounds needed to be reinforced again after Shizuka realized she had a bigger Boomstick ready 24/7... We all, me included, developed a very healthy fear of that fact.

Saya was making progress in her magic, considering she was done with Athena's library, and could focus on her magic, aura constructs, and the thing with Welf.

Saeko was enjoying diving, just to fight the Spartoi, and other warrior monsters. She hadn't leveled up again, but we were all sure she was getting close. Because when she wasn't diving, or at the orphanage, she was sparring with Ais. The Sword Princess and my samurai had a rivalry going on, and it was interesting. They were both evenly matched in terms of speed, when Saeko was in base form, and the two of them would fight with technique rather than power. That rivalry of theirs was doing great for them.

Rika was Rika, and preferred to chill with Aisha, and Haruhime. The 4 of them, Shizuka included, got along like they were twins... (What do I call two pairs of twins? Are they still twins? Or some weird quadruplets? I don't fucking know.)

Hestia didn't train... Well, as much as the others. I managed to convince her to try out training atleast a half hour everyday. She was a fan of making her own aura puppies, which were more stuffed animals since she didn't know how to give them intelligence. When she asked me about it, we focused more on enchanting then anything else. Fun fact, Hestia's good at enchanting, and that annoyed Saya to no end.

As for me, I was managing with my new abilities. My fire was still hard to control, but I made more progress every time I trained. The water powers though, those were different. I didn't have a water affinity, and considering my actual affinity was fire, I wasn't making as much, if any, progress. The best I could do was make enough water to fill a water bottle.

Anyway, recap of our training's over, and other then an emergency Denatus, where we got our adventurer names, nothing else happened that was worth mentioning.

Though, on that topic. I was named Sköll, Shizuka was named Sköll's priestess, much to her enjoyment, Rika was given Hati, Saya was given 'The Legionary,' and Saeko was named Oleander. Fun fact, Bell was named 'The deadly cub' after his change was discovered, while Lili was 'The little ghost.' We weren't sure how that leaked out, but we took it in stride.

That said, let's get into the day.

It was just me and Hestia at home, the others went out and decided that today was the day they'd head back into the dungeon. Aisha and Haruhime went to hang out with Rika, Aisha did, she just dragged Haruhime off with her. Shizuka wanted to make sure they'd be fine, and went with them. The goal was to head off to the 20th, and maybe reach the 28th. She said she'd stay with em the whole time, since she wanted to also start working to level again.

She was also being a helicopter parent, but considering the fit the dungeon threw last week, she was justified.

Anyway, back to the present.

"Hey Maccillian." Looking down to Hestia, who was on my lap with an aura pup, that she made, in her hands. I was wondering what she wanted. "I kinda forgot with all the stuff we've been doing, but uhhh..." She was a little embarrassed, which got me to raise a brow at her. "Uhhh... Think we can... Go on a date?" I grinned like the cat that ate the canary at that, and Hestia saw that.

"What was that mo bhandia? I didn't catch that." Hestia pouted at me, but the smile on her lips showed off how happy she was. Sure my nickname for her was unoriginal, but it was what it was.

"I know you heard me you jerk." Giving her a more playful grin, I started flicking my ears. Her eyes went to them, and she focused on em like she was a cat with a laser pointer.

"Oh I'm not so sure about thaaat. Why not repeat it, so I'm SURE?" Hestia gave me a look, then started to fucking 'grrr' at me. It was both cute, and fucking hilarious.

She didn't seem to appreciate me laughing at her though, so after a few minutes of her pinching my ears, I managed to stop laughing. I still kept a shit eating grin on my face, but that was neither here nor there. "Ugh! Take me on a date Maccillian!" If it was possible, my grin grew.

Wrapping my arms around her waist, and picking up my little goddess, I got ready to have some fun. "Well why didn't you say so mo bhandia? I'd be honored to take you out." Hestia flailed a bit since I was basically holding her up like a child, but gave me a smile, and eye roll, at my acceptance.

"Good... Now put me down." We stared at each other for a few seconds, and she deflated a little bit. "You're not going to put me down are you?"

"Nope. I am not." A sigh, and Hestia gave up. "Well then, off on our date we go!" Hestia gave a cheer, whether it was halfhearted because she was still in the air, was open to interpretation.

{10 minutes later}

After wondering where we were going to go, we settled on heading out of Orario. Neither of us cared at eating somewhere fancy, Hestia might've liked eating fancy food, but she was fine without it. Hell, she said she'd rather have my food then some restaurants, so that was an ego booster for me. Though a part of my mind thought she said that just so I could cook, and that she could watch me cook. Though it was whatever.

Anyway, I had an idea about where to go, and silently decided to be nice to Eina the next time I saw her.

Back when I fucked over the bugs, I found a different cave system connected to the hive. There weren't any bugs in there for some reason, so Houndoom and I decided to go check out why.

We found out why, but that was a surprise. Right now, we weren't there, but were on the way. Hestia was riding on my back as I ran in wolf form, and we had a convo going on... But then Hestia almost messed it up. "Maccillian, are we th...-"

'Mo bhandia. If you start, I will remove your gravity, and drag you along like a balloon.' That made her pause, but then she started to hum.

"... You know... That kinda sounds fun. I mean, it's not flying... But it could be close... Actually. That sounds real fun! Maccillian, make me fly!" I abruptly dug my heels into the ground, making Hestia squeeze her legs around me like a vise, and went to a stop. When I was fully still, I couldn't help but look up, and just STARE at her. She met my gaze, and just raised a brow at me. "What? Who WOULDN'T want to fly?" I didn't blink, and Hestia must've felt the JUDGEMENT behind my stare as she started fidgeting. "What?"

'I just... Fuck it.' Removing Hestia's gravity, and making an aura tether tie around her waist, I watched as she unhooked her legs, then started floating.

Her eyes went wide, and after doing a flip for some reason, she cheered. "Woohoo! Flying but not flying for the win!" I snorted, and shook my head at her antics. When she was done, she wiggled her way forward, and pointed. "Onward my child! I want to FLY!"

I gave her a look at that, and she met it with a confused look of her own. 'Our destination isn't THAT way, but you're free to try again.' A pout was her answer to that, and she decided to cross her arms at me as she floated by my head. 'Or you could do that, that works too.' I got an eye roll this time, but it was fine. 'Anyway, onwards we go!' I grinned before setting off, and decided to play around with this idea. Idea set, I tensed my legs, and then I ran.

But not at normal speed. I ran at SUPERCAR speeds.

Hestia's shouts of panic filled my ears, and I laughed all the while. "I''LLLLL GEEEEEEEET YOOOU FOOOOOOR THIIIIIIIS!" I was outright cackling at her, and she knew it. "MACCILLIAAAAAAAAAN!"

(Man, this is great. I'll need to pull this on Lili and the others sometime later.)

As one, Lili, Bell, Welf, Saya and Rika shivered. And they didn't know why.

(I need to record it whenever I do.) Thoughts of scaring the shit out of my friends/family/wives aside, I zoned back in to hear Hestia laughing instead of screaming. A quick feel told me she made an aura bubble around herself, so the wind wasn't fucking with her now. (Clever girl.) A mental snort there, at that, and I went back to the running.

As I ran, we talked about a few things, and got onto an interesting topic. "So after we're done here... Where are we going next?" She wasn't talking about the date, she was talking about worlds.

It was a good question, and one I didn't know the answer to. [Depends. Though, I'm pretty sure the universe is sending me a sign.]

That got her interested. "What sign?" I hummed at that, and mentally went over the worlds I unlocked.

[Status]

Persona 3/4/5 - A world divided into two. The world of man, and the world of cognition. Ruin is encroaching upon both worlds, and only a select few can stave it off. But they aren't the only ones capable of fighting it. You have already saved one world from an unsightly end, can you do it again?

The God of Highschool - Gods. Humans. The two were never able to truly mix. They feared and hated one another. And this has resulted in the gods placing a taboo on humanity. 'Thou shall not harm us.' But soon, the taboo shall break. The gods shall come, and with them, the war to end all wars. Ragnarok. But there is something missing. For there can be no Ragnarok without the god eater, now can there? (Preference of pack mate Saeko, Rika, Saya)

Highschool DxD - Gods, Humans, Angels, Devils, Dragons and Yokai. These races inhibit the same world, but they have not always been in peace. 'The Great War.' The war that led to the deaths of God, and the four satans. Through those deaths, peace had all been forced. But that peace will not last. An ancient terror is being coerced awake, perhaps you should stop it. (Preference of pack mate Saeko, Rika)

Angel Beats - Death... Death is not always the end. For those unable to pass on, they find themselves in purgatory... In the worst realm they could ever land in... A school. These lost souls are unable to pass on without a little nudge in the right direction. Perhaps you should provide that nudge. (Preference of pack mate Shizuka, Hestia)

Trinity Seven - The seven deadly sins. Luxuria, Superbia, Acedia, Ira, Avaritia, Gula and Invidia. These sins exist, but not in forms one would expect. The archives of this world all connect to one of these sins, and grant their holder their power. Yet what about you or your mates? What sins would you claim? (Preference of pack mate Saya)

The irregular at Magic Highschool - 'Magic' has long since been in this world. But in this world, magic and science have been intertwined in ways few have seen. These two have grown alongside the other, and made something new. There is power in knowledge, maybe you should claim it. (Preference of pack mate Saya)

Part of my mind thought that if I hadn't unlocked MHA at the start, I would've here.

Anyway, mentally groaning at my choices, I answered Hestia's question. [Well... The non slice of life worlds I got are... All highschool/school anime.] I could practically feel Hestia's confusion at that. It reminded me that she didn't know what the fuck 'highschool' was. (... If only that could be me.) I wasn't bullied or anything, my gripe with highschool was that it SUCKED.

When they were still alive, and I hadn't been reamed by a bus, my parents would say 'You're going to look back on your highschool days, and miss em.' After I went through it, I told them 'LIES!' Well... I would've... But then they died... So ya know... Missed opportunity and all that.

Anyway.

Highschool was mid, and I didn't miss it... Actually... I might've missed a teacher or two, since we all had that one cool english teacher, and my school had an old Irish lad teaching history. He was fun.

But back to the main thing. [Highschool... Think of it like a very VERY boring and tedious dungeon, but instead of monsters, it's teachers and homework.] Hestia gave me an 'uhuh...'

"Sooo... Spill em. What's the most fun one?" That was a weird one to answer.

Persona was one of my favorite game series, but I wasn't sure about going there.

3 was a group of kids eventually fighting DEATH.

4 was a group of kids fighting a goddess that used fog for some reason.

And 5 was a group of kids fighting against a false god... And a guy that tried to pull Aizen's 'I'm a sexy bad motherfucker now' flow, and not exactly nailing it. Don't get me wrong, I understood Maruki. I really did, but when he showed up in his palace, I had to put my controller down, and just stare at him for a minute.

I didn't know why 1/2 weren't there, but it was whatever. No one cared about them anyway.(To any p1/p2 fans, I'm not sorry.)

GoH was an interesting one. I liked Mori. He was Sun Wukong, and used martial arts to beat the donkey dick out of people. Now sure S2 was a little fuckey, but the whole Mori Hui, Ragnarok, and following Mori Dan sagas were nice. I didn't get to finish it since I died, but I liked where it was going.

Then there was DxD the land of big titty bitches... Thinking back to the rants Yin went on when it came to this universe, I had no idea how to feel about it. (On the one hand, sexy women everywhere, a bunch of shit to fight, dragons that will actually live up to their hype, and people like Azazel and Serafall exist. On the other hand, I've already got 5 women and a daughter, fighting is still fun, I DO wanna fight a cool dragon, and I could use another bro while Hestia and the girls chill with Serafall... But then there's Trihexa, Rizevim, The Old Satans, other gods... Actually... What the fuck's gonna happen if I bring Hestia there? The Greek pantheon exists in that universe... Would it be like a part 7 situation?) I didn't know, but I didn't want to test it. So if we ever went there, I'd need to make sure their Hestia didn't get too close to mine.

Angel Beats... I wasn't bringing the girls there EVER. Sure it could've been fun, but I wasn't bringing the girls into a dimension meant for dead people. The dungeon threw a fit when I brought out my sword, who was to say that dimension wouldn't say 'fuck you!' And collapse on us? Besides, the fuck would I fight there? Angel? Those shadow things? Yeah, no.

Trinity Seven. Another ecchi world, and one I didn't really know. I might've seen some hentai of it, but I didn't watch it.

Then there was the Irregular at Magic Highschool... I saw one episode of it, and said 'nah.' Sooo... Oh well.

My slice of life options weren't much, but at least I got the zombie idol universe, so... Yay?

I was about to shake the thoughts off, but I blinked, and hummed afterwords. (I mean... My Hero would be fun. Superhero's all over the place, dastardly supervillains... Could be fu...-) Then I had a REAL fun thought. (What if I put the girls back in school?) That thought, especially the one of throwing Lili into a classroom, made me grin.

Lili, Saya and Saeko shivered again, and they were worried.

(If U.A's still a highschool, I could probably 'convince' Nezu to have her in 1A.)

Lili was VERY worried now.

Evil plan to subject my daughter and wives to highschool, again in the latter cases, aside. I had an answer for Hestia. [You know those hero stories we tease Bell with?] She gave me a 'yeah.' [Now imagine a world full of people with random powers, who become 'hero's' for a living.]

Hestia started humming at that. "So like, adventurers... But a little different?" That was a good comparison.

[Yeah.] Hestia started humming again, and after a bit, I was sure she nodded.

"That sounds fun. By the way, is that it?" Blinking, I looked ahead, and saw that yes, we were there. The cave was more of a hole in the wall, of a mountain, but it was more impressive on the inside.

We made it to the cave, then after shifting back, and putting Hestia back on the ground, we walked in.

Like a normal cave, it got dark, smelled a little, and had bats and bugs. Though all of those were easy to deal with.

I made a flame above us, I liked the fact I always had a way to give me some light now, for the darkness.

The smell was ignored, mostly, but Hestia still scrunched up her nose in annoyance.

I could make my Wolf King's Aura fuck with the animals, so none of them came close.

With all of that together, our trip into the cave was going great. We went back to making small talk, mostly for her to ignore the cave smell, and it was nice. Though it did make me wonder what was next for me and the girls. (If I wanna pull a page out of Saya's book, then LOGICALLY, the next step for me and them would be proposing and all that... Maybe in a year... How the fuck would I even get around to planning 5 weddings?) The proposals I could do, the wedding planning was really my only issue. (I'm gonna need some help with this. I'll need to make some more guy friends for this shit. That, and... Why am I even thinking about this right now? Date today, eventual weddings later.) Finishing that thought, I zoned back in to see Hestia giving me a raised brow.

"What were you thinking about?" I blinked.

"Was it that obvious?"

Hestia snorted, and started grinning afterwards. "It was kinda funny to look at. One minute you're the same as you always are, then you pause." She stopped walking, and started widening her eyes. I just watched her, and after a second, she stops doing that and looks back to me. "Then you do THAT! And then THIS!" Now it looked like I saw a ghost or some shit. "Then you just shook your head, and came back like nothing happened." I blinked again, since no one had told me about that. "Sooo." She came up to me, and practically stood on my feet. "What were you thinking about Maccillian?"

I hummed at the question, and after looking into my little goddess' eyes, decided to fuck with her. Again, she realized I was about to do it, I blamed my tail and not the grin I must've had, and she backed up a little. "Oh nothing. Just whenever I was going to propose to you and the rest of the girls." Saying that, I started walking ahead, since she had stepped off of me feet, and started whistling.

After taking a few steps forward, and not hearing her follow, I turned back to see Hestia frozen, and going through a full body blush... Which I didn't know was possible. Hell, her twin-tails were doing their best impression of helicopter blades. I was tempted, oh so tempted, to take out my scroll, but she recovered before I could.

Looking at me, Hestia made a whimper, or something close to it, and came over to me. I was curious about what she was going to do, so I let her come close, and smiled when she grabbed my hand with one of hers. Interlocking our fingers, and walking ahead, I started humming. "That can come later... Let's... Let's get back to our date now please." Sure she might've said that, but I could clearly see the happy grin on her face.

Giving her a chuckle, I kept walking. "As mo bhandia commands." That got her to tighten the grip she had on my hand, and I saw her smile grow. She was really eating all of it up, and I liked it.

From there, we walked mostly in silence, Hestia was practically glowing in embarrassment, a little literally since she was glowing a soft gold, while I whistled the entire time.

Eventually, we made it to our destination.

When we step foot into the cavern, Hestia gasped, and practically started bouncing in place. "It's... It's like the 18th!" Yup. There were blue crystals lining the walls, that slowly turned green as they went up the wall, and even some in the pond. Because yes, there was a pond in here. (Think of the cave from That Time I was Reincarnated as a Slime.)

"Yup. But no giant naked man can interrupt us." Her excitement took a back seat to the groan of annoyance she let out.

"Did you HAVE to put it that way?" The look she gave me just made me laugh. "It's not funny Maccillian! Now I'm going to have the image of a naked monster in my head!" My laughter went up a whole stage at that. Hestia pouted, and started poking my chest like she was playing DDR. She was probably trying to tickle me, but was failing.

After a bit, I managed to get out a response, and it was one I was looking forward to her reacting to. "If it helps, you're free to imagine ME naked." She stopped poking me, and her fingers froze above my waist. From there, she slowly craned her head up, and met my gaze. I was pretty sure my eyes were doing that eye smile Kakashi does, and my grin was positively shit eating.

Hestia just stayed frozen, and I decided to add more fuel onto the fire.

So leaning down, I kissed her on the lips, which broke her out of her stupor. She blinked, wrapped her arms around me, and ate up the kiss.

When we broke it off, she was flushed again, and even panted a little bit. Smirking at her, then picking her up, I started walking over to the pond. Hestia wasn't against the sudden carrying, and even enjoyed it. She took anything over walking, and I could feel that.

Getting to the pond, and setting up a whole picnic, I set Hestia down by my side, and brought out the food. I made some normal sandwiches, some bacon egg and cheese for me, and had some of Soma's fruit wine. It was the least alcoholic, but still tasted great.

With it all of that done, I looked at Hestia, and gave her a sandwich.

The two of us took in the atmosphere of the cave, and just had a good time with the other.

At one point, Hestia ended up on my lap, leaning into me as I had my arms around her waist. We didn't say much, but we didn't really need too. We both knew we cared for the other, and that was all we needed really.

[Omake - The Wicked Witch of the West. Yin's POV]

It took some time, a few days really, to find Salem, but we did.

We finally found her...

But she was kind of... How do I put this?

[She looks fucking horrible. You can say it.]

Rolling my eyes at that, I also couldn't help but agree. Salem had been adrift ever since Macky blasted the Grimmlands, so we didn't really have a good idea of where she was. So after adding everyone to the party, we split up, and started searching. I spammed Observe on everything, and eventually, we found her.

That's how me and Ruby came up on a ball of seaweed, trash, ocean gunk, and a few other things. Hell, I had to do a double take when I'd found out it was her.

Ruby and I shared a look, and we both must've had the same thought. "I... I kind of feel bad." I nodded at that. Salem looked... Really bad.

Though taking a look at her stat screen, I understood why.

[Mental Collapse - The target has lost the will to live and is no longer capable of rational thought.] Seeing that, I just didn't know what to feel.

(Saeko... Saeko is terrifying.) I felt an agreement from my system, and then heard a 'ding.' Taking a look, I saw my world quest was done, and I could leave at any time. Though... It was real anti-climactic.
