{4 hours later. Maccillian's POV}

I woke up to the sound of and feeling of Bell's party returning, and slowly opened my eyes to see them come in.

And by come in, I meant Houndoom kicking the doors open, despite them not opening that way, and announcing his presence to the world. "WE'RE HOME NOT SO BR...-" An aura fist the size of his head, crashing into his head, put a stop to that. The fucker flew back, a little bit, and comically fell to the ground. "I'VE BEEN DEFEATED! OH THE HO...-" An aura anvil to the face... Just because I could. Seeing his leg twitch like a bug was funny.

Looking at the others, I saw Mari with her head up pinching the bridge of her nose, Trix crouching by Houndoom, lightly poking him, Bell watching along the sides, and Lili snickering at the scene. When she noticed me looking, my daughter grinned, and walked on in. "We're home Papa!" That got a smile out of me, and made me get up.

Putting my paws on the ground, I shook off whatever drowsiness I had, then turned back to the group. Lili kept her smile, but I could tell she found the sight of me doing the dog shake highly amusing. Trix had decided to drag Houndoom into the church, while Mari and Bell followed her in. With them all in, Mari stood up straight, and looked me in the eyes. "As you've commanded, we've the dungeon early, Alpha."

(Still getting used to that.) Mari was so proper, it still blew my mind that she was Shizuka's hound. That aside, I nodded at her, and shifted back. "Nice going Mari." She returned my nod, and smiled. We could all see her tail wag at that, but none of us said anything about it.

"Heh... Compliments get you everywhere with her. Right boss?" Did I mention Houndoom just didn't shut the fuck up?

Mari snapped her head towards him, and narrowed her eyes as she looked down, because he was still on the ground, at him. Houndoom just had this shit eating grin on his face, and I internally groaned. (Gods. Why is he so much like me?) If Houndoom was anything to go by, I feared ever having a son. (There can only be one annoying fucker in this and any world, and it's ME!) Shaking that thought off, I stepped in before they started a 'fight.' "Alright, you two can have your lovers spat later." Because I was SURE that's what it was.

I only noticed it a few days into them having 'human' forms, but the two of them liked each other. It'd be hard to tell considering Mari would rather punt Houndoom into a building rather then admit it, but she did. She just didn't like showing affection much since it diminished her image as their leader. Houndoom annoyed Mari the most since that was how he showed his affection. Despite that not exactly being the best way to do it, but who was I to meddle in someone's love life. (Yes I'm a hypocrite, no, I don't care.)

Mari spluttered at my words, and turned back to me with a look of utter betrayal. "Alpha!" I just snorted at that, and looked around.

I knew the place was empty, so I was checking for a note. Seeing one on the table, I read it, and sighed. ~We went to Athy's place to reunite the terrible trio! We'll be back later.~ Atleast I knew where they were now.

"Alright, guess we're heading to the library." A long drawn out 'ughhh' from Houndoom told us all his thoughts on that.

"I'm staying home." Thank the gods!

Trix let him go, and we all watched as he shifted back to his Hellhound form, then trotted over to his doggy-bed. Out of all the hounds, he still preferred to sleep in there rather then an actual bed. He was weird that way.

"Right... Anyway, off to the Den Mothers we go!" Raising a brow at Trix, she just gave me a shrug, and marched out the door. I shared a look with everyone else, and just shrugged as I, and the rest of them, walked out after her.

After putting their things down, because none of them wanted to keep carrying their weapons, or Lili's bag.

When we left the church, after I fixed the doors, I saw Lili motioning for me to pick her up. Ever since that first time, Lili practically claimed my back as her space. It was like Hestia claiming my shoulders, specifically the left one.

Anyway, I got the message, and crouched down so Lili could get on. When she did, I got back up, and started walking with the others. Trix was leading, Mari was on her left, while Bell was on her right. Lili and I were behind em, but when they tried to slow down and make me lead, I stopped them. Trix and Mari put up a token resistance, but I just waved it off. "It's fine." Mari didn't seem convinced, but gave in.

That settled, we walked to the library, and talked as we did. "Oh yeah! Hey, Alpha?" Looking over to Trix, I nodded for her to go on. "So, ya said there was someone for the bunny rabbit? Who is it?" I, and Lili, smirked at the comment.

Despite being a Werewolf, Bell had not lost the 'rabbit' comparisons. Hell, even when he was in wolf form, he was an Arctic wolf like Shizuka, he still got em. They were just added on. The best one was 'The Bunny Wolf!' From Chloe.

But back to Trix's question. "Well, she's not here for Bell specifically, but she'll stay for him after he does a thing."

When I said 'she,' Trix's tail stopped wagging, and she started humming. "So... The bunny is going to have a mate... Guess I need to start making my intentions known." That made Bell trip, and face plant into the ground.

When he got back up, he didn't even shake out the small bits of dust in his hair, and looked at Trix. "WH-WH-WHAT?!" We all, even Mari, if the small curl of her lips was any indication, grinned at that.

Trix looked at Bell, and blinked. "... Wasn't it obvious? I mean, I showed interest multiple times after I got this form." And she did. At one point, she literally bent down in front of him, showing off her ass, and all that happened was Bell crashing. "Maybe I should've followed Alpha Den Mother's advice." Ah yes. Shizuka's advice, AKA 'Pull him into a room, and kiss the daylights out of him!'

Despite how amusing that would've been, I told her not to do that, since I was sure Bell would end up comatose if she did. Because I, and I was pretty sure everyone other than Bell, knew it wouldn't stop at that. Despite having 'human' forms, the hounds weren't human, and would be subject to going into heat. So if Trix got into it, and I mean REALLY got into it, then she would've smashed Bell like there was no tomorrow... And considering contraceptives didn't exist, there was a potion but it was expensive, then Bell would most likely end up a teenage father by the end of the year... (This train of thought fucking WENT places.)

Shaking that off, I turned back to Bell, and saw he was dead to the world, and just stared at Trix. Said hound just went 'huh,' walked over to him, and planted a kiss on his lips. Bell's eyes went wide, and his tail poofed out like it shocked by electricity. I saw an opportunity, and scrambled to get my scroll. When I got it out, I started snapping pictures of both the kiss, and Bell's face after Trix separated from him. He was fucking GONE, and it was hilarious.

"There. No way you could misread that." Lili snorted from atop my head, and I laughed. That got Trix to turn to the two of us, with a raised a brow. "Unless I did it wrong? Am I supposed to do the tongue thing you do with your mates, Alpha?" I almost choked on my laughter at that.

(Bell would've had a heart attack!) That thought made me laugh even harder. Hell, I was outright wheezing at this.

Since I couldn't answer, my daughter did for me. "If Trix did that, Lili is sure Bell would've died of over-stimulation."

Trix took that in, looked back to Bell, and nodded. "I could see it... But actually... He'd be fine. If his heart stopped, all I'd need to do is wait for it to heal, and presto, he's back to normal." Lili hummed, and I could tell she thought about it.

"... You have a point. But it's the fact of the matter." Another nod from Trix, and we watched as her face scrunched up in confusion when she turned to Bell.

Said kid was still frozen, and after a particularly strong breeze, he literally fell over. A moment passed where we all just stared at Bell's un-moving form, and the next we moved.

I took more pictures.

Trix crouched down again, and started poking his cheek.

And Mari just sighed. Though I took notice of the slight blush she had. She was weak to compliments and PDA's. Some-fucking-how. Don't ask me how.

Lili just started snickering even more, almost evolving into outright cackling.

"Alphaaa. I think my mate is broken." That did it. Lili started cackling like a madwoman, and I joined her. Hell, even Mari started to laugh a little. It was a nice moment.

When we were done, and Trix had made an aura sled to pull along the still comatose Bell, we went back to walking to the library... Ignoring any looks sent our way.

{5 minutes later}

Bell rebooted before we got to the library, and after blushing as red as his eyes, he decided to walk a little closer to Trix. It was adorable really, and Trix enjoyed it.

Though that aside, we made it to said library, and walked on in. As soon as we did, Mari excused herself, and went over to the side room, where I could hear Shizuka, Cinder, and Saya.

Her aside, the library looked just like it always did, and we didn't need to go far to find our targets. Athena was in her usual place, sitting at the front desk looking like the natural sexy librarian she was.

Hestia was on her left, with a seat pulled up to the counter to talk with her.

Then there was Artemis, who was on Athena's right.

They all turned to us as we came in, and my little goddess waved at us. "Hey guys! Wh...-" A sharp look from Athena cut her off, and she looked embarrassed.

"Hestia, inside voice please." That got a nod from her, and Athena was appeased. Turning back to us, she gave us a nod. "Welcome. I wasn't told you'd be arriving. Has something come up?" To the point, how very Athena like.

I gestured over to Bell, and then towards Artemis' arrow, which was propped up on the wall behind her seat. "I thought I'd save everyone some time by having Bell pick up the arrow." That made the three goddesses pause.

Athena furrowed her bros, Hestia just blinked, and Artemis looked like she was buffering. Though after a second, Hestia responded. "Oh, ok." Then her eyes widened. "That means we're all connected! YES!" Hestia's shout broke Athena out of her trance, and earned my little goddess a glare.

"Hestia. Inside. Voice." Athena's tone made Hestia shrink, and rub her head.

"Sorry Athy."

"It's fine." Turning back to me, and technically Lili since she was still on my back, Athena hummed. "Do you believe he can do it?"

I nodded. "Yeah. Besides, he's kinda doing it right now." That made her, Hestia, and even Artemis, turn towards her arrow. Because yes, while they were all stunned, Trix had dragged Bell over to the arrow, somehow going unnoticed by the goddesses, and he was picking it up. Though when I called him out on it, he, and Trix, both blinked and stared back at the goddesses. "See."

Artemis and Bell just stared at each other, and if you blinked, you would've missed it. Artemis bolted from her chair, almost knocking it over, and hugged Bell. "Orion!" Athena didn't say anything about Artemis shouting, and neither did we.

"Aw yeah, mate get!" It said something that Trix was probably the second... Third. I saw Hestia's ear splitting grin, excited at this. It was also funny that she worded it that way.

"... The fuck is going on over here?" We all turned to see Saya peering over the left wall, with a confused look on her face. Though Shizuka appeared after her, with her head directly above Saya's, like this was fucking Scooby Doo or some shit. It didn't help that Cinder appeared next, practically inserting herself between Saya and Shizuka, making the former fall onto the ground. "BITCH!" Mari came out after that, and just stared at the scene, impassively.

Cinder raised a hand to her mouth, and with the most serious look in her eyes I'd ever seen, she spoke. "Whoops." Trix snorted, and the atmosphere was fully broken now.

With that done, Artemis stopped hugging Bell, and started blinking. "The monster." Oh yeah... That.

I clapped, getting everyone's attention. "Ok. Since I'm feeling lazy, and I'd rather not have to go on a whole expedition, just give me the general direction of wherever the fucking thing is."

Artemis, and everyone else blinked, but I focused in on Artemis. She looked so confused, it was great. "What?"

"Yeah. Pick a direction, and I'll nuke it."

"...What?"

I stared at her, and decided to just cut to the chase. "Alright, screw it." Removing her, and everyone other than Lili's gravity, I made aura tethers, and started dragging everyone out of the library. Ignoring the various cries of protest coming from my unwilling party.

Walking out, I made sure everyone was free, and made an aura platform. "Going up." And up we went.

Though I set everyone down as we started climbing. The moment I did, Saya stomped over to me, and started ruffling my hair, after Lili moved her chin out of the way. "What the fuck are you doing Zaka? 'I'll nuke it,' nuke WHAT?! Explain dammit!" I snorted, and ruffled her hair in response. That clearly wasn't the right response, but she just huffed, and kept going.

"Ask Artemis. Or Athena... Or even Hestia...-"

"Hey!" Ignoring that for now.

"-They'll tell you." I lightly shook my head, letting Saya know to stop for now, and she did. I stopped ruffling her hair after that, and watched her walk over to the goddesses. She started talking to Athena, and Artemis' backstory started.

As that happened, I kept us climbing, and stopped when we were maybe half way up Babel. "Woah... It's like we're birds! Silver! We're birds now!" I snorted at that, but smiled at her enthusiasm.

Though she wasn't the only one surprised at how high we were. Trix, Bell, Hestia, and I was pretty sure Lili, were all looking around. We were REALLY high up, and after a bit of nervous laughter, I saw Trix look REAL uncomfortable. "Uhhh, Alpha? Can we... Ya know... NOT be up here? I like having my paws touching some solid ground."

I took that in, and blinked. (Trix is scared of heights... Good to know.) Shaking that thought off, I saw Mari place a hand on her shoulder, and smile at her.

"It'll be fine Trix. We are with our Alpha, and our Den Mothers. There's nothing to fear." Despite that, Trix still looked uncomfortable.

"I know that big sis... It's just... We're not SUPPOSED to be up here. And not having wings in case I fell, isn't helping."

"Psh. Who needs wings? Even if we fell, Maccillian would catch us. Right Maccillian?" Hestia's unwavering faith in me was nice. I gave her a nod, and she smiled at Trix. "See. Just have fun with it."

"Yeah! You don't get to fly often Trix... Unless we had a plane...Or just made wings..." Shizuka's eyes went wide, and she snapped towards Saya.

Said woman gave her a raised brow, and just flashed her aura. A few seconds later, and Shizuka had some giant bird wings on her back... And she looked like a kid in a candy store. The look on her face, and eyes, turned into one that told us she had a 'plan...' And now she was running to the edge of my platform... "Oh... I didn't that through... Oh shit." And then Shizuka JUMPED.

"GERONIMOOO!" A part of my mind wanted to say 'that's not what you say when you wanna fly.' But it was too late. She had jumped, and we all watched as she...

"Huh... She's not falling." She wasn't. Her wings were actually flapping, and after a few seconds, she was flying. I looked over to Saya, who let out a sigh of relief, then met my gaze. "... You didn't think it was going to work, did you?"

Saya met my look, and whistled. "I mean, no... But to be fair, I haven't tried this before, and I didn't expect Shizuka to just jump off the edge! But it works... So all's well that ends well." I, and everyone else, just gave her a look. She took them in stride, and shrugged. "Ah shut up. She's having fun, that's all that matters... And besides, even if she fell from this height, her aura would take it, and she'd heal up in moments. She was never in any REAL danger." She was right, of course, but still.

Seeing Shizuka fly around, and somehow getting better as she did, made me decide to move on. "Anyway, Artemis." The goddess blinked, turned to me, and pointed at herself. "Yes, you. What direction's this monster at?" She blinked a few times, and looked like she needed some time.

Though, that was fair.

In the span of a few minutes, she'd found her Orion, was told 'point out the monster,' lifted into the sky, and watched a woman run off a platform with the chance to fall... However fucking we were, to the ground, who then started flying.

I'd be confused as fuck too if this wasn't my life.

When she was ready, Artemis shook herself out of her stupor, and pointed... "That's... East?"

"West Zaka."

"Right. I knew that." A snort from Saya, which I ignored, and I started moving our platform west... After making sure Shizuka was following us. Because for as much as I loved her, I did not trust her to be left alone in the sky with a pair of wings she got only a few minutes ago. "Alright. Surprise road trip it is." Sure I could've nuked the monster from Orario, but if I did, I had no doubt the guild would fine my ass to the moon.

So no unleashing power stronger than a nuke in Orario... Or anywhere near it unfortunately.

And so we... Flew?

Whatever.

{10 minutes later}

"There! That... I remember that landmark." Looking where Artemis pointed out, I hummed.

(I remember that spot. Alright... We should be a half hour out I think... Good enough.) With that thought, I stopped the platform, and looked at everyone. Lili had gotten off my back, and was sitting with Hestia, Trix, and Mari. Saya was next to Athena and Cinder. And Bell was sitting with Artemis by his side. The two of them were getting cozy with each other as we flew, and it was cute.

Though we were missing one. Peering over the side, I saw Shizuka doing loopty loops in the sky, and cheering all the while. "... Maybe we should have flight lessons? That'd be cool." I heard someone choke, and looked to see Trix pale at that.

"Uhhh... Alpha? Could we NOT?!" I gave her a grin, and enjoyed seeing her pale even more.

Though I could fuck with her about it later.

Now, it was time to skip the movie.

I whistled, to get Shizuka's attention, and when I had it, I pointed over to the others. "I'm about to go wild! Get over here for safety mo grá!" As soon as I finished that, Shizuka flew over to us, and landed on the platform.

Though she was pouting a little as she did. "But I wanted to fly some more. Who knows when I'll get to do it again?"

I just gave her a flat look at that. "You can fly back after I'm done." She smiled at that, and hugged me.

"You're the best!" After hugging her back, we broke it off, and she went to sit with Lili, and the others. Though she did put Lili in her lap as she did, so that was cute.

"Maccillian. What ARE you gonna do anyway?" I blinked at Hestia's question, and turned to her.

"Hestia has brought up a valid question. You've said you are going to 'nuke' the monster... But what EXACTLY does that mean?"

I thought about Athena's question, and wondered about it. (Now... I COULD throw a TOTW at the monster... But the continent would be fucked if I did... So that's out. I could make a big fucking Gaster Blaster, but I've been playing with em too much, so no... Take a move from an anime?) I started going down that train of thought, and after a eureka moment, I grinned. I didn't miss the way Saya blinked, and slowly started to panic, but it'd be fineee. "You're about to find out."

Saya was panicking even more now, and flashed her aura. A blink later, a massive pink dome surrounded everyone, and she shouted at me. "REINFORCE THIS! NOW!" I snorted at that, but went along with it.

After a few more moments, there was a pink and silver dome in the sky. I had stepped away, and made a small platform of my own. I wasn't worried now, since I put about half my aura into it, and a majority of Saya's own reserves went into it too. So they would be fine.

With them safe, I turned to the area the movie monster was, and grinned. "I've always wanted to do this." I raised a palm to the sky, and called on my fire. As I did, I felt the temperature start rising.

Fun fact, I have FIRE resistance. Not HEAT resistance. There's a difference.

Mainly the fact that as my fire responded, and my move powered up, I was sweating out my ass. (Ok, I might not have thought this through.) I decided to ignore that thought, and focused on my fire. I watched as the white sphere of fire grew above me, and became a second sun. It was even better considering we were passed noon, so the actual sun had passed its peak.

I could feel my mana drain from doing this, but I had enough to do this, so I wasn't worried. When it turned into a meteor sized ball of death, I grinned. "Cruel Sun." Now, I could've stopped there, but I didn't want too.

Sure throwing a sun would be awesome as fuck, but I could still do more.

So I did. I started compressing the super ball of fire, ignoring any sweat that was instantly vaporized as I kept going, and single mindedly focused on it. When it was the size of a soccer ball, western soccer, I coated it in my aura, making the already white ball of death gain a silver sheen.

The moment I was done, I made it float in front of me, and grinned like a madman. "Oh I'm gonna ENJOY using you." Turning towards the monsters area, I aimed my... "Hmm... You need a name." 'Cruel Sun' didn't fit it anymore, and since this was mine now, I needed to put my own spin on it.

And I had just the thing. Raising my palm towards my fire, I grinned with all my teeth, and named my attack. "Mac tíre rí's nua."(Translation - Wolf King's Nova.)

My nova shot through the air, leaving a trail of aura and flames as it did, and even making the nearest trees or fauna burst into flames as it descended towards the earth. Though, moments before it landed, my instincts screamed at me... And I had that thought again. (I REALLY didn't think this through.) And the world exploded into fire and aura.

The wind from the explosion sent me flying, though I checked the platform to see how the rest of them took it. With how much aura Saya and I put into it, it wasn't a surprise that they were fine.

Them aside, I made an aura cube to stop myself from being blasted into orbit, and grounded myself as I took in the aftermath.

And holy hell was it something.

Everything in the area, that hadn't been destroyed outright, was burning with white flames, though the massive fucking crater was ground zero for a pool of magma... (Where the fuck did that come from? Did I melt the whole fucking clearing?!) If I did, that would've been fucking awesome. (Eat your non existent hearts out Espada!) I was now the superior Cero user, and it was glorious.

"ZAKAAA!" Uh oh.

I slowly turned towards Saya and the others, and took in their states. While the dome held strong, the heat still managed to seep through, despite us doing our best to make it heat proof. (Other than Bell... A bunch of sweaty women in one spot is nice.)

Shizuka, who had her scroll out, and Hestia were practically glistening with sweat. They even had beads of sweat going between their breasts. They were looking at the destruction with awe on their faces, and didn't seem mad at all. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if either of them had said 'encore.'

Trix, Mari, Cinder and Bell were the same in the 'holy shit that was awesome' department, and didn't seem to mind the heat. Hell, the three of them were even looking at me like I was the second coming of Christ.

After them was Athena and Artemis. The goddesses were just stunned, probably didn't know what to say, and were practically like fish out of water.

And then there was Saya. One of her eyes was twitching, she had a scowl on her face, and was almost radiating annoyance. (Heh heh... I'm in danger.)

I slowly started heading over to them, and after the barrier was put down, walked in. The moment I did, Saya was on me, and started shaking me like a rag doll. "What the fuck Zaka!? Do you have any fucking idea what that would've done if the barrier didn't hold?! We would've been fucked! I don't want to experience fucking MELTING Zaka! Jesus fucking Christ, just how insane can you be!?" When Saya cursed every single line, I already knew I was in way more danger than I thought.

So while she was shaking me, I did my best to look at her, and give her a smile. "It was fine. I knew it would hold." I did...

But it didn't look like that was the right answer. Saya stopped shaking me, and almost started pulling out her hair. "That's fine and everything, and don't get me wrong, I didn't doubt you or the barrier. BUT! I can't help but simulate what would've happened if it failed! And holy fucking fuck, that wasn't a pretty picture!"

I awkwardly looked away at that, and scratched my cheek. I could see why she was concerned. Though a part of my mind recognized she was being hypocritical since she made Shizuka wings, without thinking she'd jump off to test them out. Though these were different circumstances, so I'd let it slide. "Uhhh... I'll make it up to you?"

From the corner of my eye, I could see Saya cross her arms under her breasts, and huff. "You better. This the first time I've used over half of my reserves on one thing, and it was to make sure we didn't fucking die. So you damn well BETTER make it up to me." She paused here, and I turned back to see a mischievous grin form on her face. "And I know JUST how you can do it." I blinked, and decided to find out where that was going. "First, let's go home. I'm sweating like a pig, and I need a bath." That was reasonable.

I heard Shizuka, Hestia, Trix, and even Mari, shout for an encore, but I shook my head at them. "Maybe some other time." Shizuka deflated, Hestia just sighed, Mari looked disappointed, and Trix looked like a sad puppy.

There were a few other reactions, but I decided to ignore em, and start heading home.

With the movie out of the way, we were free to do whatever we wanted. AKA, relax.

[NON cannon Omake - EXPLOSIOOOON! Maccillian's POV]

(Alright. It's time to become one with the chuuni.) I couldn't resist the smile that formed from that thought. I had the chance to nuke something, and I was going to take it.

So, focusing on my aura, I let it erupt, and brought out my Sword of Damocles. My aura shot up to the sky, and I coated the sky silver. "Darkness blacker than black and darker than dark...-"

"THE FUCK DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?" I ignored Saya.

"-I beseech thee, combine with my deep silver. The time of awakening cometh...-"

"WHY ARE YOU SUDDENLY A CHUUNIBYOU?" Again, I ignored Saya.

"-Justice, fallen upon the infallible boundary, appear now as an intangible distortion!" My aura took form above me, and I could see it coalescing into a silver moon. "Dance, Dance Dance! I desire for my torrent of power a destructive force: a destructive force without equal!"

"IS NO ONE GOING TO CALL HIM OUT ON THIS?!" Nope.

"Return all creation to cinders...-"

"That sounds nice." ... Ignoring Cinder.

"And come from the abyss! This is the mightiest means of attack known to man...-"

"That is highly doubtful, but go on." Everyone was a critique. Athena had no reason to butt in, but she did.

"The ultimate attack magic!" My aura was ready. And with a flick of my wrist, my attack was sent towards the earth.

And the moments it made impact, I grinned. "EXPLOSIOOOOOON!"

And the world was bathed in silver.
