The Wolf prowling across dimensions by Pandora's Reader

Highschool of the Dead & My Hero Academia/僕のヒーローアカデミア Xover Rated: M, English, Family & Adventure, [OC, Rika M., Shizuka M., Saeko B.], Words: 820k+, Favs: 1k+, Follows: 1k+, Published: Nov 17, 2021 Updated: Nov 9 779Chapter 92: A Wolf in Worm

Originally, this was two separate chapters. But at the halfway point I was like, 'It might be better if they're one chapter.' So viola. The cut off point was after Yin shouts Macky. Just for anyone that wanted to know.

This is the last chapter I've got done, so it is back to waiting with ye!

Ash - Thanks, fixed there are plans for the Warrior. Plaaans.

Tryson - *Whistles in this chapter* And no, it doesn't count as Androgynous. He's just both whenever he feels like it.

Qmaster - With how much it's asked for, that might happen. Not sure when, since I have no idea how long it'll take me to finish this story, and if I'll start the other two ideas I have or that, but maybe eventually I'll get around to it.

Jellatinous - I'll either have it be it's own interlude, or another long Omake.

Seig - Well, Have ANOTHER chapter!

Wrntly - Well, yeah. What's the point of having all that POWEEEEER if you don't have anyone else to be yourself around?

{Maccillian's POV}

With Leviathan's arms in my jaws, and my tail head burning him like a witch in ye old witch trial days, I'd say he was doing a job of not dying. (Still, it's annoying that he's not organic.) - (Right? It's bullshit!) - (Wonder what cooked organic Leviathan would taste like?) Aaand I was reminded why I didn't use my enhanced Amphisbaena form, or my normal Amphisbaena form. Having two other voices in my head was a weird experience, and one I didn't really wanna repeat too often, cause I was an annoying shit, even to myself. (Anyway, let's kill this fucker!) -((Ay aye captain!)) So, that agreed on, I pumped my mana into my flames, changing them from the emerald sea of Greek Fire, to my blinding white flames, usually seen when I used Flames of Helios.

My fires made the Endbringer SCREAM, and I grinned with three different heads. (Gravity, 0.) Applying that onto Leviathan, I released him from my jaws, and made him float above the clouds. Now, he didn't take this lying down, the numerous times he'd impaled me with his claws, punched my teeth out, beat on my scales like I owed him money.

No, even with his 'flesh' burning with the heat of the sun, Leviathan was still fighting me on control over the clouds.

Even with marks of my jaws still on his arms, he fought me over control of the water he wanted to turn against me.

Hell, I could feel him using what little water clinging to my scales, to try and puncture my body. Too bad my Endurance prevented that, so he had a higher chance of finding gold in a creek.

Anyway, with Leviathan air born, I thought about the flashiest way to end him, and three minds thinking about the same thing, with my sky high INT, the answer was obvious.

So, as Leviathan tried to right himself, maybe fix the fact his gravity was disabled, I reared my heads back, gathered my mana and aura, and started charging up. All around me, I could feel the temperature SPIKE as my flames flowed from my jaws, and gathered into a massive silver orb of pure fire. The clouds cleared, the air around me hissed as it went from humid to arid, and as I met Leviathan's gaze, I grinned.

My flaming sun burned the sky, and when I was ready, I forced Leviathan to fall, and shot my sun with a trio of shouts Goku would appreciate. - "Mac tíre!"- "Rí's nua!" - "Réalt na maidine!"(Wolf King's Nova, Morningstar)

The silver sun streaked through the air like a meteor, and since I'd learned from my last mistake, I had let my aura radiate from me, almost enough to make my Sword of Damocles appear, but enough to create a massive shield to stop the coming explosion from rocking the city beneath me before firing off the killer sun of impending death.

And what an explosion it was. Now, technically if you squinted hard enough, it could be said that my Morningstar was weaker then my Nova. Granted, my Nova was a compressed sun, fueled by a fuckton of aura and mana, while my Morningstar was just a 'normal' sun, fueled by a fuckton of aura and mana. The reason I didn't go for my Nova was that even with my barrier shielding the city beneath me, the compressed Nova would still roast the absolute fuck out of everyone beneath me. (Yin would live, but then she'd get on my case about killing her friends. And I'm NOT going to spend my first day in a universe with a super alien, getting my ears blabbed off.) Though, that wasn't to say my Morningstar couldn't be as strong as my Nova. No, it could be stronger. If I used all my heads to spit out an ocean of flames, which would inherently be stronger then just making them due to enhanced Amphisbaena bullshit, pouring in maybe half of my aura and mana, THEN compressing it, I'd have a continent killer at LEAST, and a world breaker at BEST.

Anyway, the explosion that came from Leviathan and my Morningstar colliding was probably one of the coolest things I'd ever seen/heard. It drowned of my focus playing 'Number One', and looked like the big fucking bang, not that I'd know since I haven't seen one yet, but I was pretty sure it would rival that. Thanks to my size, using my gravity to anchor me to the spot I was at now, and just being to stubborn to move, I was engulfed in the explosion.

{Lisa's POV before Maccillian arrived}

Standing with my team, and watching as Leviathan was about to drown us in the mother of all tsunami's made me understand just how small I was. Sure, this fight had been good, there'd been more damage done to him in this one fight then there had been in the years since he first appeared, but instead of staying to fight, the goddamn ENDBRINGER, RAN AWAY, and decided to just fuck us like some cheap whores then hightailing it out of here. It was bullshit.

It was worse considering the only person that could maybe stop the incoming watery death, Legend, was downed. Granted, Eidolon could maybe pull something out of his ass, but wouldn't you know, he was down too! So, really, we were pretty much fucked.

Though, when Yin/The Morrigan/Badb, started shouting out to the air, which meant she was talking to her system, I was both confused as hell, and hopeful as fuck. I mean, if there was ANYONE that could pull a Deus ex Machina out of their ass, it would be the dimensional hopping Werewolf with a super system.

And pull something out of her ass she did! She pulled out this dull looking gem, which my power tried to get a read on, but she destroyed it before I could.

That's when shit got weird.

Reality, and my power, gasped, for a moment, and I took in the sight before me. Five vertical claw marks bled through the air, looking like they were pure silver, and I could just feel there was something wrong with them. I couldn't tell if it was me, or my power, but it just felt so wrong that I wanted to get away. But Yin, Yin just started laughing, and I didn't need my power to tell me it wasn't that she found the situation funny.

She was relieved. She knew what the hell was going on, and she was relieved.

When the claws in the air started expanding, my power had a 'This is scary, but ooou!' Moment, and only when the portal, because that's what it was, was fully open, and we saw a figure on the other side, did my power decide it was time to work. ~Portal to somewhere linked to this continent? Doubtful. Prior action taken by The Morrigan leads to the belief this source is from another dimension.~ I already knew that though. I looked at the man on the other side of the portal, and took him in. I didn't even need to think hard about the new arrival, since Yin had told me about him before. He was the reason we had that guide made by Athena her fucking self. Anyway, the Werewolf from another dimension. (Easily over 6'0, has a pair of dog...-) ~Wolf. Wolf ears.~ (Wolf ears, whatever. Both of them have a piercing, one seems like a wolf head, and the other is a sw...) ~SILVER KING. FEALTY!~ That... Was new. I'd never had my power just basically yell before, and that was both strange, and worrying.

(Hair is practically silver, heterochromatic silver and black slit eyes... Slit?) ~Cat like? No, too mundane. Snake like? Possible... Draconic? Draconic seems more likely.~ (The fuck? Is he a Werewolf or a dragon? Yin didn't mention that before!) I wasn't sure if she knew though, so I'd bring it up later. That aside, I kept analyzing Yin's 'bestfriend.' (Muscular, not too much, but just enough to not only be intimidating, but also be considered a 10 for the majority of the female populace, hint of a claw like scar on his chest, covered by a black shirt. Has... Are those bandages?) ~Not cloth. Not truly material... Construct? Possible... Hard light? Possible... Aura? Most likely.~ (Uhuh... Anyway, has a cloak over his shoulder, some form fitting jeans, and... Sandals? Are those sandals?) ~Geta sandals. Yes.~ (... I'm going to ignore you both specifying, and sounding oddly serious about that, and move on.) I shook off whatever surprise came from having my power have any type of inflection from that answer, and looked at the man from another dimension.

He walked out of the portal, which slammed shut as he walked out, and listened to the clacking of his sandals on concrete. Then he was there. The man named Maccillian 'Silver' Zaka, stood in front of Nemain, cocky grin on his face, and utterly relaxed, as THEME MUSIC blared with him. "Yo." Huh...

(Nice accent.) There were a few Irish individuals I'd talked too or knew, but in Brockton Bay, I hadn't known if there were any here. (Well, there's one here now.)

Yin roared out in laughter, and I could tell she was the most relaxed I'd ever seen her. There was a goddamn Endbringer here, and she didn't seem to care. "Gods, you're such a fucking fanboy Macky!" Was he?

I had no idea what the theme music was, hell, I didn't even know where it was co...- ~Wolf 'earring' seems to be the source... Is not an earring. Seems to be some kind of tech. Music is an obvious capability of it. Common sense dictates there must be functions aside from playing music. Other capabilities unknown, needs further study.~ (Huh... So he's got a speaker on his ear... Shouldn't that annoy him given his ears should have the same sensitivity to sound as dogs/wolves do?) ~He ignores it.~ (Oh... Why the hell are you answering me now?) My power never answered me when I asked a general question, but now it did. What the fuck was going on?

I was brought out of my thoughts when he just laughed with her. "I'm the biggest fanboy, thank you very much." That said, he looked ready to give Yin a hug, one I have no doubt she would've happily returned, if the hundreds of thousands of fucking water spears/needles hadn't been sent flying after us. The team and I were in the middle of reacting, before Maccillian frowned, turned around, and stomped. From his feet, a wave of silver shot across the street, and formed a massive barrier that stopped everything sent its way. "Stupid dickless rude fuck." I couldn't help but GAPE at the casual display of power, and someone calling an Endbringer a 'dickless fuck.' Granted, I was pretty sure we'd ALL heard her call Leviathan an inbred cocksucker, but that was neither here nor there.

Hell, I wasn't the only one either. By my side, Rachel was looking at him like he was the second coming of Christ, which, if HALF the things Yin told me were true, wouldn't be so far fetched.

Brian, despite having his helmet on, I could tell was STARING at the silver dome protecting us from being shish-kabobed.

Alec seemed to be listening to the music, and not exactly caring about the fact a man just casually walked into our dimension from another one.

Aisha seemed to be checking him out, and I tried to shunt away any awkward feelings about a 13 year old checking out a 3,000...- ~2,822.~ A 2,822 year old Werewolf... (Is this going to be a thing now?) My power didn't answer me, which was sort of reassuring... But I felt just the tiniest bit of smug that wasn't there before.

Taylor, despite her mask, seemed both confused, and worried, which was logical. She was the only logical person on this damn team really. Yin was sort of logical, but she was also all kinds of bullshit.

Speaking of her, she snorted at him, and gave him a look. "You wouldn't mind getting rid of said 'dickless fuck', now would you?" What?

Yin's bestfriend grinned at her, with all of his teeth, and it was more then a little intimidating. Hell, even Rachel, who'd take that as provocation, didn't so much move as he did. Still too engrossed in his presence to even care. "See, you give me the best presents." That got another snort out of her, and we watched as Maccillian dispelled the cloak, 'bandages', ripped off his shirt for SOME reason, and grinned as he turned to the Bay. It looked like Leviathan was actually escaping now, it wasn't hard to find out why, and ditched trying to drown us in a Tsunami. "NO RUNNING FROM ME BOY!" Rearing his head back, Maccillian HOWLED, and I felt goosebumps break out on my everything as he did. Then, when he was done, Maccillian stomped again, not only dispelling the barrier he made, but going from 0-100 in the blink of an eye.

I heard him singing, hell, we ALL did, but it was something else that was forcing my power to pay attention. Something was happening, something my power didn't understand, but WANTED too.

Then he turned into a massive dragon with three heads, and I understood. (Yeah... That'll do it.) My power was having a field day, and thanks to my aura, I wasn't getting a Thinker headache from it trying to analyze him. ~Aura, manually turned off. Body 45 meters in height, 60 meters in length, estimated weight would be 50 tons at the VERY least.~ (Well that isn't terrifying in the least.) As if responding my sarcasm, my power went on, and zoned into the heads. ~Capable of independent action. Each head shares the mind of the king, instead of being their own consciousness.~ I thought about that, and tried to picture having 3 of me in one room, where none of us could get out. (I'd drive myself insane under an hour.) There was no doubt in my mind about that. But my power kept going, like an overexcited puppy lapping up as much information it could get on the Werewolf turned dragon. ~Scales incredibly light, but dense. Capable of withstanding anything below a high caliber round without a scratch. Blast resistant, impervious to fire, rich in mana... Mana? Magic? Mana? Magic?~ I sighed at that. (Not again!) For some reason, magic made my power go in circles, chasing its tail out of confusion. The moment Yin showed a little magic, my power would zone out.

The first time it happened, she was Macha, and was training us to avoid her swarm of death birds. (Evil fucking things.) She'd trip us with roots, and the first time I'd seen it in person led to the first logic loop my power had with magic. Apparently, it picked up on the mana Yin used for the spell, and had no idea what to make of it. Now, my power recognized that a dragon had magic scales, and was going loopy. It'd sort itself in a few minutes, but it was annoying.

"That's sooo BULLSHIT! That broke me out of my thoughts, and we all heard the roar of laughter come from her draconic friend. If I didn't know it was from a friendly, I might've shit myself. Yin on the other hand, seemed more annoyed then anything though. "Bullshit of the highest caliber I say!" Maccillian just kept laughing, even as he dived into the sea...

Against the water Endbringer... (What?) I was stunned for a moment, and it somehow, stunned my power too. ~... Main body seems more suited to aquatic environments?~ ...Was... Was my power asking? The Werewolf turned dragon was here for 30 seconds AT MOST. How the fuck did he screw with my power?! ~Silver King. Master of the Silver Sword of Damocles. Submitted fealty to the king.~ I didn't fucking get it. (What the actual fuck is the 'Silver Sword of Damocles?' I thought there was only one!?) If my power could say it, I would swear up and down it would've said, 'but actually.' ~Silver Sword of Damocles. 'Accessory' on our king's left ear. Representation of the true sword. Interaction led to query. Submit or die. Submitted and sworn fealty.~ (... What?) I had no fucking idea what was going on anymore.

"Morrigan... What the actual fuck?" I was brought out of my stupor again by Grue, who was looking between Yin/Nemain, who was sitting on the still wet ground, and the spot Maccillian dove into the bay. She just stared at him for a bit, it was impossible to see her eyes under the lion cowl on her head, but the way her mouth relaxed, she seemed done with it.

It was after that, that the silver dragon burst out of the bay, the frontal heads holding Leviathan in their maws, while the third head blasted Leviathan's chest with fire. "I'll explain later." Yup, she was so done.

"How is the water on fire?" I, and the rest of us no doubt, blinked, and turned to the bay to see that yes...

The water was burning with emerald flames. The same Emerald flam...- ~Greek fire. While the colors are different, the source different, the concept is the same. Fire that burns no matter how much water there is.~ Huh... The more you know.

After that little tidbit from my power, we all watched as the silver dragon released the Endbringer from his jaws, and watched as Leviathan started to... Float away? What? ~Gravity. As the Silver King, our lord has full control over the fundamental force of gravity.~ What? ('Our?' When the hell did I agree to that?! And of course the Werewolf/Silver King/Dragon man can control gravity. Why not?) My power did the equivalent of a shrug, and I tried not to let it get to me. Apparently, my power was working on new ru... "Oh my god."

Any internal debate I could've had with my power took a backseat to the sight before my eyes. Leviathan was still floating away, but the three dragon heads were spewing a sea of white fire, which were all gathering into a massive white sun. Despite it being above the clouds, the heat alone was making me sweat like I entered a sauna! Hell, Rachel's dogs were panting like their lives depended on it, Taylor flinched, her swarm most likely dying due to the heat. But as that happened, Yin went 'huh', and scratched her chin, entirely nonplussed at the literal sun, Sundancer didn't have shit on that, forming above us. "Well... This is gonna suck." Saying that, Yin pulsed the black of her aura, and just like Maccillian had done before, a dome of black shimmered into existence and encased us within it. She was pretty much outing the fact that Nemain could do more then coat herself in her aura, but it didn't matter at this point. "I'll be pushing in as much aura I regen into this barrier as I get it. Won't really mean anything if Macky fucks up, but it'll give me just enough time to maaaybe try to save you guys. Though, I doubt he'll actually fuck up."

... The team and I all shared a look at that, all, except Rachel, clearly worried at the nonchalance Yin was exuding. Though, before any of us could voice it, the dragon glowed silver, and there was suddenly a transparent silver ceiling over the bay. ~Similar to the aura used by The Morrigan. More whole. More powerful. Will protect against the blast and winds, but not heat.~ Well, that was better.

Yin huffed, and crossed her arms at that. "Well now I just feel stupid." I would've said something at that, but the next moment, my power practically forced me to look at the dragon...

And the white ball of death above the bay. That's when I heard it. The roars of three different heads, calling out their attack like it was a japanese cartoon. "Mac tíre!"- "Rí's nua!" - "Réalt na maidine!" And so the sun streaked across the sky, sounding like a high pitched whistle rather then the sphere of death that it was.

~Irish. Wolf King's Nova, Morningstar~ (Since when do you know Irish?!) My power didn't respond that time, annoying me at its selective responses. My power aside, the sun crashed into Leviathan, and the resulting explosion not only sounded like a nuke had gone off in my face, but the brightness almost blinded me. Hell, even after closing my eyes, all I saw was a blinding white. (Am I blind now?) It was a viable qu...- ~No.~ Huh, ok. Guess not.

There were a bunch of gasps, shouts, and other crap like that. But in our little dome, and through the ringing in my ears, I heard Yin again. "Must. Max. Mage." I'd laugh at that, but my ears were still ringing, and I was seeing more white then in an E88 rally.

It took a bit for the ringing to leave, and for my eyes to go back to not being maybe blind, but when they did, the next thing I heard was a trio of roars that didn't take a genius to find out what did that. So, opening my eyes, I looked through the black and silver domes protecting us, and saw the Werewolf turned dragon roaring towards the heavens. The sun, the natural one, reflecting from his scales, his wings beating gusts of wind, and his roar echoing across the sky. "... Wish I could make that my wallpaper." Goddamn it Alec!

Like that, we all broke out of it, and we all seemed to realize something. "Leviathan - Deceased." Thank you Dragon, not like we didn't notice.

All at once, people cheered. The bay wasn't drowned under the waves, an Endbringer was dead, and we won. We won, and we were alive.

Though, as everyone cheered, I noticed Yin looked a little confused. So, since we weren't in immediate danger of death anymore, I lightly jabbed her rib, getting her to look at me. "What's up?"

Yin hummed, then turned back to Maccillian, who stopped roaring. "I kinda expected him to fight for longer. He's bitched about not having anything fun to fight, or doesn't die in under ten minutes, so I thought he'd play with Leviathan for a bit."

I, and everyone else in earshot, paused, and just processed that. (... P-Play with Leviathan? Did I just hear that right?) I had to wrap my head around that, and just THINK about someone 'playing' with an Endbringer. ~Said Endbringer is now dead. Removed from the cycle.~ (... Po...- Cycle?) My power just hummed, which again, it had never done before, and was starting to freak me out, and didn't answer. I decided then and there, I was going to have a talk with my power.

That aside, the roars stopped, and so did the cheering. That's what made the rest of us look to the dragon, and see him start coming back... And as he did, everyone realized that while the Endbringer was gone, the 45 meter tall dragon, with three heads, wasn't. It was terrifying when he and Yin dismissed the barriers keeping us safe from everything.

And when said three headed silver dragon landed in front of us, somehow NOT squashing anyone as he did, and brought one of his main heads down to Yin, all of his teeth out in the open, and let me tell you, seeing massive fangs that were all longer and thicker then I was, scared the absolute FUCK out of me. He grinned at her, which was doing nothing to alleviate my fear of a head the size of our house. Again, if I didn't know him from Yin, I'd be shitting myself and probably dying of a heart attack. Still, Yin had balls of titanium for being able to walk up to Maccillian, and grin at him. "Hey ya bi...-" I'd never seen someone be interrupted via dragon lick, but now I have...

And it was both hilarious, and still terrifying. Yin got a full body lick, and was frozen in place, absolutely coated in dragon saliva, while the three headed dragon laughed. "If only that helmet wasn't there." - "The look on your face would be priceless to see." - "You taste like shit by the way." Alec and Aisha snorted at that, which got them looks from the building sized dragon. The both of them froze as his heads looked at them, then at the rest of the Undersiders. And when his heads looked at me and Taylor, he blinked, then focused in on us. Mostly me first. "Athena is conflicted about you." - "She likes you, sure." - "But the way you go about things annoys her a bit." - "Not us though." - "I like you." - "The art of pissing people off is a beautiful and wonderful thing." - """We approve.""" I blinked, a lot, and had no idea how to take that. Sure, I just got the seal of approval from a dragon man bigger then the Medhall building, who also just killed an Endbringer, but it seemed like he wasn't done, and tilted both front heads to the side. "You're also one of mine now." - "By technicality, sure." - "But still ours..." - """We'll figure out what to do with you later though."""

(What the fuuuck is going on?) I didn't know how to take that, but the idea of having an Endbringer killer on my side made me all kinds of happy. So that was a good thing.

He moved onto looking at Taylor now, and I swear we all heard her gulp. "You're a much better person then I am." - "Had we gone through what you have, we'd have gone on a massacre." - "Probably shoot up the school and all that." - "Sure, I'd probably end up dead for it, if I wasn't as badass as I am now." - "But we're impulsive like that." - "You're self control has earned our respect, and the respect of the goddesses' we live with." - """Be proud of that."""

Taylor took that all in, and I didn't need my power to see how she went through confusion, shock, apprehension, and eventually, relief and pride. Hell, I understood why. Her trigger was one of the most fucked up things I'd ever heard about. (Hearing a dragon say you've earned his respect, and the respect of some goddesses, would make anyone feel better.)

That said, Maccillian, looked around some more, I wasn't sure why and didn't want to use my power at the moment, and seemed to be searching for someone. It didn't take long for him to find who he was looking for, and one of his heads stretched out towards... Vista?

The Ward stared, frozen as the massive head made its way to her, and eventually got to her. Both draconic eyes focusing on her. The area was tense for a bit, because why wouldn't it be? But the moment passed, and Maccillian hummed. "I'm adopting you." Huh?

"... Huh?" Exactly.

The dragon didn't seem to care about Vista's confusion, and just hummed. "You're home life is shit." Damn, tell us you really feel. - "I've agreed with my wives in adopting you." - "We'll take you out for walks, cook all kinds of treats, and give you a good family." Saying that, the second head looked at the tail head, brow(?) Raised. "Why that first one?" - "Because it's true? If someone didn't go with/keep an eye on them, Eri, Lili, and Himiko would be out and about daily." Didn't know who any of those people were, but if it was relevant to this conversation, they were probably family. The main head, the one by Vista, turned and looked at the other two, and blinked. - "Before we get into a whole debate about this, I'm just going to go back to being the only one in my head." That sounded like a good idea. The other two heads looked at each other, then nodded. ""Whatever."" And like that, the massive form of the three headed dragon stared shrinking, and two to three seconds later, the dragon was replaced by the form of Maccillian, who was right in front of Vista, despite his body having been in front of Yin.

With him changed back, a pressure I didn't know was there seemed to lessen. It was like I went from, 'if I move, I die.' To, 'I'm scared, but as long as I don't do anything threatening, I'm fine.' It was weird. "Anywaaay." He looked down at Vista, who was still frozen in terror/confusion, and pat her on the head. "As your new father, I hereby inform you that you've got three sisters, and five mothers." Excuse me?

Vista was still confused, but I didn't miss the way she seemed to be interested in the whole thing. "Wh...-"

"Macky!" Oh, Yin rebooted. And she looked REALLY annoyed. The Werewolf and Vista turned to her, and she waved her hand in the general direction of the street. "Talk about this somewhere else. Maybe somewhere that doesn't have the whole fucking world watching." That... That was a good point.

He didn't seem to care though. "I could. But I'm laying down my Aura and some good ol mass bloodlust on em thick. Most of em are too scared to talk, let alone move. So they're not gonna do shit. That's why no one's been bitching or interrupting us. So even if they're watching, the fuck are they going to do about it? Arrest me?"

Yin paused, and looked around. I, and the rest of the Undersiders, and Vista, did too. And just like he said, everyone around us was frozen in fear, and paler then a vampire. (Huh... Useful... Scary, but useful.) It was scarier when I realized it worked on Alexandria, who was frozen, but seemed to be fighting it.

"Anyway." Bringing our focus back to him, Maccillian picked up Vista, and set her on his shoulder, like she was some kind of pet. Obviously, the Ward had no idea how to react to that, and was still in a state of shock. "I shall now commence the yoinking, and fuck off to leave all the questioning to you." Uh oh. The grin on his face wasn't giving me a good feeling about this. "Ta-ta! I'll drop by later with my plan to speedrun this world. Imma get to know my new daughter now." And just like that, he made his shirt float into his hand, sprouted wings, then took off with a screaming Ward on his shoulder as he flew away...

With him gone, the pressure, which was most likely his 'Aura', and 'Bloodlust', was gone. People started moving, slowly, and were tuning back into the now. Thought, they didn't really matter since I could practically feel the agitation rolling off of Yin. She clenched her fists, looked in the direction Maccillian flew, and opened her mouth. "MACKYYYYYYYYYYY!" A howl of laughter was the response to that, and that just made Yin let out a guttural scream of annoyance.

{Maccillian's POV}

I laughed at the enraged shout from Yin, and kept flying around with my new daughter, until I found somewhere to stop. Landing on top of the Medhall building, which survived somehow, I looked around at the damage. I didn't bother stopping the whistle I did as I looked at the broken city, and had to admit, "Impressive." While the docks were fucked, like, beyond fucked, the rest of the city seemed ok. Granted, a fuck ton of the building in the bad part of town were lost causes, I was pretty sure a few blocks were just reduced to soggy rubble, and there was a street that was just FUCKED. "I could do better though." A few aura slashes would be enough for damage, or I could just punch the ground hard enough to break a bunch of shit.

"I don't... I don't I want to know what about this you could do 'better.'" Ah, almost forgot about her. Looking up, I saw the apprehensive face of my newest daughter. Her visor was a little cracked, but other then that, she was fine... I was purposely ignoring the way her hair was frazzled, how scuffed her outfit looked, and the huffing she was doing, because absolutely NONE of that was my fault... None of it.

Anyway, she wasn't freaking out at the moment, probably because of my charisma being as high as it was, but she still seemed worried. So, gently setting her down, I also ignored the way she stiffened like a doe locking eyes with a lion, and gave her a smile. "Well, I could probably blow this city apart if I huffed wrong, ya know?" Given the way she shook at that, it was probably the WRONG thing to say at the moment. So, I awkwardly scratched my cheek, and looked away. "Okay, too soon for the big bad wolf joke. Got it." I thought it was funny... Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Missy looking at me, probably trying to come to terms with the fact I was an Endbringer killer, as well as a cool father figure that made great jokes that always landed... (Not sure why I'm lying to myself... Eh, anyway.) I stopped scratching my cheek, and settled for sitting on the ledge, and looked out, while also putting my INT to use.

While I knew my charisma was sky high, I couldn't exactly barrel my way into Missy's life. Sure, I'd already laid claim onto her, but she was different then my other daughters. Lili was depressed and was trudging along out of habit. Eri NEEDED to be saved, and shown love. Himiko was fine with being taken off the street, and being shunted into a new life. Missy was different in the fact that yes, her life was fucked, but she had a life. So while I COULD keep barreling forward at full speed, it wouldn't work While I was thinking about that, I kept an eye on Missy, and watched her reactions. She was still scared/worried, but as she watched me, mostly my tail, which was slowly wagging like a metronome, she relaxed a bit. She didn't move towards me though, and just kept staring.

After a few minutes of silence, she apparently had enough, and hesitantly took a step towards me. "Did you mean it?" I hummed, and flicked an ear at her. She took that as a sign to keep going, which it was. "When you said you wanted to adopt me?" Ah.

Turning and looking at her, she shuddered for a moment, which let me know that she was obviously still weary of me, I nodded. "Yeah. As much as I fuck around, I don't lie. Your parents are shit," She flinched at that, but I didn't stop. "You'd prefer fighting off assholes then going home," Another flinch, and she subtly shrunk into herself. "And we think you deserve better." She paused there, and looked back at me. I met her look, and waited for her response.

Said response took a bit, but she eventually got around to it. "Who's 'we?' And how do you know that? How do you know ANY of that?"

I hummed some more, then decided to tap my focus, and enable public showing, so she could see what I brought up without a focus of her own. "The answer to your first question." I brought up a family picture, it was basically all of us, including Kendo's big ass since he was permanently with us now since he and Kiriko were fucking, in the livingroom." Missy's eyes focused on the picture, and I saw her looking at everyone. She saw Shizuka, and STARED for a bit, before shaking her head and looking away. Her eyes even landed on Sunny, who was using Eri's head as a nest, and I watched as she blinked, rubbed her visor, then blinked again. "You'll meet them later, but yeah, that's all of us. Aside from the Librarian Supreme, the woman that looks like she'll fuck you up for looking at you wrong, and the kids, the rest of the women are my wives." She SNAPPED towards me, and I just raised a brow. "What? I TOLD you you'd have five mothers." And I did. Granted, that was directly after the whole 'surprise, you're being adopted', bit, but it was whatever. (Hmm... I feel like I'm using 'was whatever', in situations it SHOULDN'T apply... Eh, whatever.) I mentally snorted at that, and moved on.

Missy STARED at me some more, and after opening and closing her mouth, gaping kinda like a goldfish, she shook her head, and moved on. "Wh-what about the fact you know everything. How?"

That was easy. "Multiverse theory, you know it?" Judging by the way her eyes widened, she did. "There you go. In some universes, this one is a story. Written by some dude whose name I forgot." Missy started shaking a bit, and a more rational part of my mind recognized that maybe I shouldn't give her an existential crisis at this moment... (Well, I've already started it, might as well finish it.) That thought, I did just that. "So, if you were ever curious, Pokemon exists, and we can go visit one day if you want to go catch your own electric rat or something." She stopped shaking, and just went stiff... Not out of fear though... Surprise? Anticipation?

Missy stayed like that for a bit, but a few seconds later, she took off her visor, and LOOKED at me. "Can I get a Houndoom?"

Deep in the dungeon, somewhere in the 58th floor, Hou sneezed. "Fuck?"

I snorted something fierce at that, and ended up laughing my ass off moments later. Missy looked confused, so I waved it off with my tail. "Inside joke. I'll tell you later."

She went 'huh', at that, but didn't follow up on it. Instead, she walked over, and took a seat by my side, overlooking the ledge. "... By the way..." Through my laughter, I managed to spare her a look, noticed she had turned towards me, and reigned myself in to meet her gaze. "What's your name?" I blinked, and just stopped...

I... I hadn't even introduced myself... "Holy fuck, how'd I forget that?" Missy's lip twitched, almost enough to be a smile. I shook that off, and gave my new daughter one of my patented grins. "Maccillian. The name's Maccillian Silver Zaka. How bout you little lady?" I already knew, but it was only polite to ask for hers.

Missy gave me a small smile at that, and I took it as a win. "Missy. Missy Byron." And so, I gained another daughter.

{1 hour later}

After Missy and I got introduced, I took my time to get to know her. So, for an hour, we just talked about each other. I'd known about her from what I read, but just like My Hero, not everything was the same, or there were things that were new thanks to the fact she was a real person. For example, her crush on Gallant. While yes, it existed, it wasn't as strong as it was in canon. Her reasons why were interesting to say the least.

'I'm not stupid. Who's he going to want more? The flying bombshell, pr the twelve year old? Obviously it's going to be the first one, because I KNOW he's not a pedophile. It sucks, but it's just a stupid childish crush.' Which was... Fair. 'The other reason? Well... Even with all this stupid shit PR tries to do, to make us, especially me, seem like a kid... I'm not. I'm a Parahuman. A Ward. I patrol damn near everyday in a city that's had Nazi's, a fucking dragon...' She paused there, and just looked at me for a few seconds. 'I can't really say 'dragon', now, without thinking of what you turned into... Anyway, Lung, and drug addicts with a Tinker that made tanks out of trash. I KNEW I wouldn't be safe. That the next day wasn't always guaranteed. If Dean died, I was... Sort of ready to force myself to get over the crush... If it came to it I mean...' She got some head pats for that bit of information.

For a 12 year old, she was VERY mature. So she deserved em.

Anyway, my very short recap of what we'd done aside, I picked up on a bunch of footsteps coming our way, and looked towards the door. I also heard some grumbling, and tuned into that. "Annoying fucker. Leaving me with the fucking bag..." I mentally snorted at Yin's complaining, and kept listening.

"Hey, look at it this way. He could've done way worse, and gave the voice in your head an insufferably smug little shit." Ah, Tattletale. I knew something was going to come up, but not what. Her power tried to look into me, and my system didn't like that. So, it gave me a prompt. 'Negotiator has sleighed you, how will you respond?' It took me back for a moment, cause that was the first time my system brought up something new, and which had options. 'Destroy, Do nothing, or Force to submit.' I picked the last one, and now I feel a connection to Lisa and her giant space alien. So that was cool. She might not think it was, but she'd get over it.

"Sooo... It's you?" I didn't recognize that voice, but I approved of the shot.

The sound of a smack reached my ears, so she probably didn't appreciate the guys sass. "Fuck you too Alec." As, so that's who that was.

Yin sighed, and stopped in front of the door, and I heard the jingle of a key. "Can you guys just not? After all that shit with Leviathan and the Triumvirate, I just want to rel...-" The door opened, and Yin froze as she saw me sitting on the couch, digging into a tub of ice cream. She was out of her armor, and in a more casual outfit that almost reminded me of something Nemuri wore. By her side were Lisa/Tattletale and Regent/Alec. The both of them also froze as they saw me, and it was great.

We stared at each other for a bit, and I grinned. "Yo."

Yin's brow twitched, and after closing her eyes, and taking a deep breath, she looked at me, and 'smiled.' "Hello Macky. How wonderful of you to grace us with your presence." She was walking towards me as she said that, and I already knew she was planning something.

I didn't mind whatever it would be, and let her come over. "Yes, yes, I'm letting you little mortals bask in my presence. Feel grateful mong...- OI! EASY ON THE EARS!" I was mid boast when Yin got to me, and started fucking with my ears, and treating them like they were meant to stretch. My bestfriend/Gamer didn't care about that, and kept pulling, even as I flailed around. Granted, I could've easily stopped her whenever I felt like it, but I kind of DID leave her with the explaining. And since Saya waited months to take her revenge, I'd rather Yin get hers out now, then have it be spontaneously dropped onto my lap when I'm not expecting it.

"Fuck your ears!" I lightly growled at that, and quickly reached out to her human ears, and started pulling. "Don't you fucking start!" I pulled hard, which only made her pull harder.

So, for who knew how long, the two of us pulled at the others ears, not giving a shit about the spectating duo in the hallway.

{5 minutes later}

Gently rubbing my ears, I looked at Yin, who was also rubbing her ears, and huffed at her. "Did you REALLY need to pull that hard?"

Yin rolled her eyes at that, and flipped me off. "Oh fuck off, mine hurt more then yours you cheating fuck."

"Oh please, you never said I had to limit myself." And she didn't. It was her fault for choosing ear pulling as the punishment anyway. (Though, I should've known she'd use her Werewolf form to even the playing field. That form wasn't meant to be used to retaliate ear pulling!)

Unaware of my thoughts, Yin used magic and threw some water at me. I flared some fire, and it evaporated before it got close. "I'd think it'd be common sense to not use supernatural strength when we're pulling on sensitive body parts, Macky!"

That got a snort out of me. "Don't gimme that shit Yin. It's not like I was pulling your tits or something. And my ears are WAY more sensitive then yours, so your argument is invalid."

She looked at me, and just STARED. "Macky... If you tried to pull my tits, I'd kick you in the nuts. Best friend or not." I laughed at that, and had an idea. One I'd go through with later, since if I just turned into 'Millie' now, the shock factor wouldn't be perfect...

But soon, I'd fuck with her. "Anyone tell you two you argue like a weird married couple?" Looking at Lisa, I took in the way she was staring at us, watching us like we were some rom com as she ate from the tub of ice cream she 'liberated' from me as Yin and I were pulling each others ears.

Yin took offense to that comment, and threw some water at Lisa, which found its mark, and made her fall out of her chair. "No. We're just friends Lisa."

Gasping at that, my hand found its way to my chest, and I looked at my bestfriend like she'd betrayed me. "'Just friends?' Yin oh Yin, my best of friends, how could you?" The deadpan was NOT what I was aiming for, but its what I got. (I'll get her to laugh later.)

"You done, Macky?" Aw...

Sighing, I dropped the act, and shrugged. "Fine. Anyway, where's the rest of your team at?" It was a question I had when I noticed it was just the three of them.

Yin hummed, and gestured towards the nearest window, showing the bay. "Brian and Aisha went to check on their dad. Taylor's doing the same, while Rachel went to her place to check on her dogs." Hmm, made sense. "What about you? Where'd Vista go?"

"She's checkin in with her friends. Some of em almost bit the dust when the little fucker came in, so she's being a good friend, something YOU haven't been over the last 5 minutes." She scoffed at that, and I turned to Lisa, who managed to get back up, and was drying her face with her shirt, as she did.

Noticing my look, she paused, and I noticed the subtle way she tensed. It was a little funny when people thought I'd hurt them, given the fact I could bop them out of existence before they even noticed. Lisa seemed to pale at that thought, and I snorted. "You're fine. Try not to be a little bitch whenever I just look in your direction." Granted, I DID think about how easy it would be to bop her, but I wasn't going to do it. She was too amusing to kill for no reason, and was technically one of mine now, so I wasn't going to kill her anyway.

Lisa looked annoyed, tensed, relaxed again, then looked confused. "Ok, that! Why am I 'one of yours' now? What the hell happened?" Yin was justifiably confused by that, but I wasn't.

So, under both of their gazes, I shrugged. "Your alien overlord tried to look at me, and my system didn't like it. So, under threat of not existing, it gave in. So by technicality, you're one of mine. Simple, no?" To me, it was.

To Lisa? She looked at Yin for... Something, and after a bit, looked back to me. "Alec had the right idea of going to crash in his room. I'm just going to go to mine, and ignore the fact I've got an alien in my head." And off she went.

Seeing that, I looked at Yin, and raised a brow. "You didn't tell her?"

My Gamer friend shrugged. "How was I supposed to bring that up? 'Hey guys, you know your super powers are secretly alien monstrosities that are responsible for destroying countless worlds? Oh, and pass the salt.' Yeah, I could see THAT working out wonderfully."

I scratched my chin at that, and couldn't help myself. "I would've done that. Hell, I would've done it word for word."

Her eye twitched at that. "Well excuuuse me Macky, but I'm NOT you."

"You're right. You're not as hot as I am." A blast of wind hit me in the face, but I didn't let it bother me. And as I looked at Yin, who was scowling at me with her arms folded and legs crossed, I grinned. "What? Don't like the truth?"

Yin rolled her eyes at me, then unfolded her arms to wave it off. "I almost forgot how insufferable you were in person." That just made me grin more. A scoff was her response to my grin, and she went on. "Anyway, you said you had a plan?"

Nodding at that, because we DID make a plan for this, I spoke. "First off, system." Yin looked surprised I was starting with this, but I could tell her why after.

[Yes?]

"I'm usin my favor." To be here in the first place, Yin's system agreed to owe me a favor. I knew what I wanted, and doing it now would save me time on other things.

[I'm listening.]

I didn't stop the grin from forming on me face, and told it what I wanted. "Jailbreak my system. No more restrictions when I go places, and unlock every world out there." This would be big. My restriction were never hard for me to do, even when I only had a quarter of my strength. Hell, if I really felt like it, I could've gone after All For One the second we got into My Hero. The only reason I didn't was because I knew he wasn't a threat.

Now, was that the same reason I didn't go after Freya in Danmachi?

Partially.

I never actually got THAT far into Danmachi to know just how big of a threat she was, and let what I knew be enough. It was different for My Hero because I KNEW nothing could hurt any of us. All For One was the boogeyman of that verse, but he wasn't shit compared to any of us. And if he couldn't do shit to us, then he wasn't worth my attention.

Anyway, Yin's system hummed, then a moment later, I felt something change.

[Done.

I owe you nothing now.]

I blinked, and HAD to ask. "Why didn't I get any messages or anything?" I expected a whole 'New element confirmed' or some shit, and not getting anything threw me off.

Yin's system scoffed, and answered.

[Your system is not only too young to tell there was an intrusion, but there's no intelligence behind it.

Sure, there's a budding soul there, but it'll take a century or two to develop.]

Huh... Well that was unexpected... "Gotcha... Moving on!" And like that, I decided to ignore the fact I'd have another voice in my head in a few centuries. (I'll probably forget that eventually, only to remember the moment I hear a robotic voice call me master or some shit.) It was a problem for future me, so I was free to ignore it. Yin though, she looked both amused, and confused. Her feelings were irrelevant though, so I went on. "So, The Plan...-"

"I can hear the capital letters already." Ignore!

"That was step one." I ignored the 'oh really?' From my troublesome commentator, and went on. "Step two my dear friend, is to divide and conquer." She raised a brow, clearly, her inferior mind wasn't capable of understand The Plan.

"I feel like I should punch you. Macky? Why do I want to punch you?" I started whistling at that, and she clearly didn't like it. Too bad I didn't care.

For step two, I needed to make sure everything was ready, so I didn't look stupid. [Invite Saya Takagi.] The invite was sent without an issue, and a moment later, accepted. [Ahem, testing testi...-]

~I can hear you loud and clear mutt.~ Take all the fun out of why don't she?

Shaking off the rudeness of my youngest wife, I asked the question. [Everyone ready?]

It took a moment, but after said moment, her reply came through. ~Yeah. Everyone's in the livingroom. We're ready to go, mutt.~ With that confirmed, I grinned.

Standing up, and extended my claws, which were glowing in the glow that signified I was using my World Jump ability. Yin's eyes went wide at that, and I could tell she figured out what I meant. Seeing that, I cackled as I stabbed the air in front of me, and started tearing it open. Tearing apart space was always fun, especially now considering I could do it whenever I wanted, and go wherever I felt like. (It'll save me time from having to try and get PMM to go get Mami and Kyouko.) That was one of the reasons for it, but not the main one.

Reason aside, space tore in front of me, and as I thought of my livingroom back in My Hero, the other side showed just that. But it wasn't empty. On the other side stood my pack.

Takashi was standing at the front, Breaker resting on his shoulder, and looking confident. He was in his 'battle gear', a Balaclava on the side of his head, covering his right ear. A black jacket with a black undershirt, finger less gloves, black pants and combat boots.

By his side was Rei, gripping Dawn, in her own 'battle gear.' Her hair was braided, falling to the back of her form fitting white cat suit, it was a copy of Catwoman's suit, and zipped the same way. She didn't wear any gloves, and had on a pair of high heels... For some reason.

On Takashi's other side was Kohta, obviously, in his own battle gear. Chimera was slung onto his back, in its base sniper configuration.

Next to Rei was her mother, still wearing my old sweater, in torn jeans, and barefoot, looking ready to beat the shit out of anything in her path. And obviously, Kendo was by her side, a simple muscle shirt and sweatpants, also barefoot.

Saeko was next to Kohta, staying in her new casual outfit, while Izanami was on her hip, sheathed, but ready to be brought out in a moments notice.

Saya was by her side, 'looking' annoyed, but secretly expectant to come here. Like Saeko, she was still in her casual wear, and had her whip on her hip.

Behind them were Shizuka, Rika, Nemuri and Power Loader, our goddesses, and our kids.

Of said kids, Lili had her fucking sniper on her back, just like Kohta and Rika, but still in her casual clothes.

Himiko was in her sailor's uniform, but had a bunch of fucking knives floating by her side, and had a manic grin on her face. She knew what this world was about, and she was looking forward to stabbin a bunch of people.

Seeing me, they all perked up, and I grinned at them. "The dimension railway is temporarily open. Come on through or miss your chance." My pack grinned back at me, and as a group, started coming over.

I made way for them, and watched as one by one, they started filing into Yin's home. Takashi was first, and as soon as he crossed over, he paused, which meant he was getting the history and language dumped into his head. Rei and the others were still coming through though, so I dragged him away so they could fit.

After everyone was in, aside from a few people, I looked at those who stayed behind. Athena, Hestia, Eri and Sunny stayed behind, Nemuri and Power Loader did too, but they weren't exactly pack. Nemuri may be a Werewolf, but she was a temporary member, and wasn't going to always join us. Athena and Hestia were staying in My Hero for a few reasons, we had no idea how their presence would fuck with Zion, he could go apeshit and attack us when we weren't ready, he could ignore them, or something else. We didn't know, but we weren't going to risk it.

As for Eri and Sunny? They were too young. Eri was 6 years old, and we were in a grimdark series. And Sunny? He was still a literal baby. No way were any of us going to risk something hurting either of the kids, so they were going to stay at home, while we dealt with this world. Granted, Eri didn't like that, so she was aiming an adorable pout full of childish indignation at me. I chuckled at it, and gently shook my head. "We'll take you along for an adventure soon Unicorn."

Eri just pouted even more. "But I wanna go now. Why can't we go now, when everyone else gets to go?"

I was going to respond to that, but Hestia beat me too it by hugging Eri. "Some places are just too dangerous honey. We don't want you to get hurt."

Our youngest daughter turned her weaponized pout to her ma, and I was thankful that Hestia took that bullet. "But Mommy is there! Mother and Mama and Mom and Mami are there too! Sunny and I'll be fine!" A part of me found her faith in us endearing, but even though we were all here, none of us were going to take a chance for her and Sunny's safety.

Hestia just smiled at her, and gently pat her head. "We know honey, but we're just being sure."

"Eri," Shizuka's steady voice surprised the rest of us, but we looked at her. Her stance was calm, and the smile on her face, serene. "We'll be gone for a little while, but we'll come back. We always will. Just wait for us, okay honey?"

Shizuka and Eri looked at each other, and our daughter broke first. Looking at the ground, she kicked it, and huffed. "D'ohkay." Adorable.

My first wife smiled, so did the rest of the pack, and finished up. "We'll be back soon my little Unicorn, love you."

Looking back up, our daughter smiled back. "Love you too Mama! Mom! Mommy! Mother! Mami!" Sunny chirped at that, so he probably said the same thing... Probably, I didn't baby dragon. I also a bit amusing she only said us, and not anyone else. "Come back soon." We waved at her at that, and with a nod from our goddesses, I closed the portal.

With the portal gone, it was just the pack, me, and Yin in her livingroom. The members that recognized Yin, which were the girls, all smiled at her, and she smiled back. Rika even went over, and plopped herself onto the couch, right next to Yin, and threw her shoulder around Yin's. "Sup Gamer Girl." And like that, conversations started. Those that didn't know her, which was everyone else, found places to sit as everyone introduced themselves to her. Sure, they knew OF her, and some talked to her during her monthly check in, but it was different doing it in person.

Interestingly enough, Himiko and Yin got along great. Kiriko and Kendo liked her too. I could just imagine the +5 rep gains appearing over their heads as the talks went on, and found the whole thing amusing.

Hell, at one point, Lisa came back out, and walked into the livingroom, to see a fuckton of Werewolves just talking. She stared at us, eyes roaming all around the room as she took us all in. We stared back, Himiko and Rei waved at her when their gazes met. And after a minute of that, she spoke. "I'm too sober for this." That got a bark of laughter from Kendo, Rika, and Kiriko, while Lisa just left.

Anyway, that aside, we talked for a while longer, and eventually, came up with the final sister got up, and cracked her neck as she started heading out. "Alright Kendo, off your ass. We gotta an African peninsula to hunt on, and some warlords to beat into the ground."

Kendo scoffed, and followed after her. "Ain't gotta tell me twice Kiri. Dibs on the Snake bitch though."

My sister scoffed right back, and 'gently' smacked his shoulder. "In your dreams fuck face. The snake's mine."

"Guess we'll just have to see when we get there then." Kiriko huffed, and two of them eventually walked out of Yin's place. They were going to head to Africa, and deal with everything over there...

Though, after they were out of earshot, I looked to Rika, who met my gaze. "Go fuck with em while they're over there." My second wife and hunter grinned, and after a quick kiss, booked it as if she heard a fucking ice cream truck round the corner. (Hopefully, they don't wreck the continent... Hmm... If they do, not my problem.) I could see it happening, but since none of us were going to stay in this world, I wasn't obligated to care.

After Rika and the meatheads left, I looked at Saeko and Himiko. "The nine are yours. Have fun." My blade and Vampire smiled, one far more manic then the other.

Knelling for a moment, my blade met my eyes, and I got the message. "Your will be done, my lord."

"Fuck yeah! Off to stabbin some mass murderin murder hobos we go mother dearest!" Our daughter grabbed, and started dragging her mother away, happily marching away at the prospect of murdering people... For a good cause!

After they left, I turned to Saya, who nodded at me. "I know. It'll be interesting getting my hands on the code of an AI like Dragon. It'll probably help with my GAIA project." I nodded back, and after another kiss, Saya left, and by the sound of it, created a Nevermore to travel on. That was going to be interesting to see reactions too.

Shizuka already knew what she wanted to do, and after a kiss, and grabbing Lili, she happily marched away. "To the hospitals we go! Hip hip, hooray!" That got a snort of of me, Yin, and Lili.

The latter of which waved at me as she was dragged away. "Bye Papa, we'll see you later." I waved back, and watched them go.

That done, the only ones left were Takashi, Kohta, and Rei. Takashi and I shared a nod, and he tapped Breaker against his shoulder. "Start at Boston and go from there?" I grinned, and he nodded again. "Gotcha."

"Happy huntin Mini Me, Cavalry, G.I Koh " The kids grinned, and started making their way out.

Though, before they did, Rei raced back to me, and gave me a hug, which I returned. "See ya soon Uncle Za!" My niece zipped away after that, and I just chuckled. She was probably going to end up skewering a bunch of assholes on her spear, and have fun being a terror all the while. With them all gone, it was just me and Yin.

Yin looked at me, and raised a brow. "And what are YOU gonna do?"

I grinned at her, and stood up. "Firstly, I'm going to go see if I'm going to get canon or fannon, then after seeing how THAT goes, WE are going to go train in your dungeons." Both brows raised this time, and I would've had to be blind to miss her surprise. "I haven't been allowed to fuck around with black holes, making tornadoes, testing out new skills, or any other fun things. We're gonna fix that by fucking around in your dungeons, and seeing just how strong you've gotten." I knew she got it, since she grinned at me, and seemed to be looking forward to it. "After that, I'm going to go power hunting, because there's a power or two that I'm curious about fucking with." Like Contessa's. I was curious if I tried to path something like, 'how to improve my skills', if it would work. My new skills were made with a bunch of trial and error, but if I had her power, it could save me so much time... And I didn't care that made me sound lazy as fuck. I wanted it.

My bestfriend hummed, then scratched her cheek. "I get that... But what do you mean about canon and fannon?"

That got a full on grin from me, and I felt my tail wag excitedly. "I'm gonna go see if a certain angel can be talked too." I'm not sure why Yin paled, but it was fineee.

[Omake - Dividing and conquering. Rika's POV 5 minutes later.]

Flying overhead as the pair of 'I'll beat your ass' and 'Electabuzz' ran across the city in their wolf forms was fun. They couldn't feel me, and since they didn't know I was coming along, meant I could have some fun. Sure, there were some fucks fucking around in Africa, but I didn't really give a shit. I was going to fly around and watch the idiots do stuff. (And If I get to prank their collective dumbasses, then more power to me... Who knows, maybe I'll kill steal the snake bitch they're after.) That thought made me grin, and slowly start to mentally cackle. I could just see it now, the two would be all excited to get the finishing blow and shit, then BANG a 'Fuck you!' Round blows the bitch up!

It was going to be great!

{Saeko's POV same time.}

As my daughter and I ran across the city, I thought about our targets. (Jack Slash, can use any bladed weapon to attack at range. Can also talk to a Para-human's shard, and Master them, while also learning what their host may do. threat: Minimal... A sick man who fancies himself a monster. It will be interesting to show him just what a true monster is like.) A part of me was curious about the man. Despite his petty reasons for adoring carnage, I wondered if I would've gone down that route had I not been found by my lord.

If I would be a petty little monster instead of who and what I was now. (There is no point in thinking that. We will never know now.) I was in a far better place then he, and I would never be leaving it.

That aside, I went back to thinking about the others of the 'Slaughterhouse 9.' (The Siberian, projection of one William Manton. Capable of phasing through anything and everything, and tearing her target of independent action, and seems to have some form of personality as well. Threat: Minimal, kill her creator and she becomes a non issue. Should she be worthy, I wouldn't mind taking her under my wing.) There was the possibility that a projection such as her could have her aura unlocked, but it was uncertain. I would test this if she proved to be more then a mindless killing machine.

Next came both a dangerous member, and the most pitiable. (Bonesaw...A child taken at the age of 6, and molded into a monster by another monster. A genius in the art of Bio-Tinkering, and creator of plagues. Threat: None. If there is still a chance for her, I will ensure her safety. Should she prove to be nothing but a puppet, I will grant her mercy.) My thoughts on the child turned mass murderer were... Conflicted. On one hand, I wished to save her. To give her the same chance my lord and the rest of our pack had given me. On the other hand, I accepted the fact she may be beyond saving. If that proved to be the case, I would put her to rest, and move on... (I will just have to see when we meet.)

After her was the one known as Mannequin. (Mannequin, a victim of the Simurgh, twisted to become a hunter of those wishing to uplift society, or progress technology. His body is a weapon, one refined to 'perfection.' Threat: Minimal. It will be fun showing the little doll what a true physiological weapon looks like.) I didn't exactly care for the man. He was just another target.

Then came Crawler. (Crawler, capable of adapting to anything should he survive long enough. I should bring a souvenir of him for my lord. Give him a new ability to experiment with. Threat: Minimal - moderate should he not be disposed of quick enough.) I found it doubtful he would survive past my first strike, but it could be a possibility. So, he would not see mercy from my first strike.

(Burnscar... Capable of creating fires around her. The more fire in her vicinity, the more crazed she becomes. Threat: None. If she was given help, she may become an interesting ally.) Out of the rest of the 9, I was curious about saving her. I'd do it because I was curious.

Next came Shatterbird. An interesting one. (Shatterbird, can control silica through high frequency sounds. None of our equipment or clothes have silica in them, so she cannot harm us with that. Threat: None. There is little chance of redemption with her, so dispose of her.)

And finally, the last member. (Cherish. A child of 'Heartbreaker.') I let my thoughts ruminate on that particular man for a moment, and thought on a solution. (Well, a little trip to Canada never hurt anyone.) Aside from him, but that was neither here nor there. (Capable of making people in a large area feel emotions such as anger, depression, overconfidence. A more sinister version of Rei's own semblance. A mockery. Rei will most likely be pleased of her elimination. Threat: None.) I was eager to end her. Her ability was so similar to a member of my pack, and she used it in such a sad way. Truly, she deserved no mercy from me.

So, as I ran with my daughter, I thought of those that would soon fall beneath our blades.

{Saya's POV same time.}

Flying through the sky on my Nevermore, I hummed to myself, and thought about the AI I was going to liberate from these 'Dragon slayers.' (Even chained down as she is, she's this world's best Tinker. A woman capable of managing so much, with the AI equivalent of a learning disability. She deserves to spread her wings. Hell, if I play this right, I might be able to get a freely copy of her code, or even a copy of her to serve as the basis for GAIA... Hmm... I don't really need her consent though. I could just hack her, grab a copy for myself, and fuck off. But she deserves the chance, so I'll give it to her.) It wasn't everyday you get to save a highly capable AI with the power to recreate bullshit technology that shouldn't work.

One way or another, I was going to have a new AI for my GAIA system.

{Lili's POV same time.}

Following after Best Mama, invisible, we couldn't help but look around. The city was devastated, even with Yin and the other Para-humans doing their best to repel the 'Endbringer.' An hour after its death wasn't enough to repair the city, so we saw just how bad it was. (It's like the 18th. Just far worse.) Even though it was a different situation, circumstances, and other things, the comparison was enough. The destruction was the same. The loss of life was bigger. The despair those who fought was most likely the same. (Papa coming in and making everything better is also the same.) We mentally snorted at that, but didn't deny it.

And now, Best Mama is going to do her best to make it better in her own way.

It was inspiring to see that even with the destruction all around, Best Mama didn't let it get to her. She was walking along, humming a pleasant tune, confidence in her steps, and her tail wagging around evenly. We were just a little curious as to how she didn't let the area get to her, so we asked. "Best Mama." It was easier to whisper, because we knew she would hear us. Her hum picked up a little, and her tail flicked at me a little. "How are you so focused?"

Best Mama hummed a bit more, and spoke. "There's nothing I can do for them. For the people that died from that monster, or from having buildings fall on them." Morbid, but true. "BUT! I can help the people in the hospital. The people that need help. The people that are right in front of me. THOSE are the people I can, and WILL help, my cutie pup." Uplifting and true.

With that, Best Mama and I walked in relative silence, I watched out for anyone looking at us, and protected her, despite knowing she could delete people from this mortal coil just as well as anyone else in the pack. Still, we wanted to protect Best Mama, and so we would!

We kept walking, and eventually, we reached the main hospital. There were people in stupid costumes, and regular people going into or standing around the area. Seeing this, Best Mama nodded to herself, and walked forward. We followed after her, ready to bring our Anzio out, and shoot anyone that dared stand in her way... (Hmm... Lili doesn't think shooting people in front of a hospital is productive.) It wasn't... But if anyone wanted to be stupid, we'd show them!

Best Mama walked up to the front doors, and was stopped by some weirdos in stupid impractical costumes. The first one was some idiot with a bunch of clocks on him, and the other was a woman with a flag covering her mouth, with a gun that seemed to keep changing when Best Mama walked up to them. The flag woman looked at Best Mama's ears and tail, and we could tell she seemed a little worried. "Halt, please, identify yourself." Fun fact, Lili did NOT know english before coming here. Upside to having a Papa that can travel realm, free language acquisition. No class need to be taken.

Our force of nature as a Mama actually did stop, and looked at the two 'heroes.' She gave them a calm grin, and spoke. "I'm a nurse. I'm here to help." We blinked, and realized there was something wrong there, but unsure of what.

The 'heroes' shared a look, and the bandana woman spoke up. "Um, ma'am... Neither of us speak that language..." We blinked, then facepalmed. Of course! We were used to speaking and hearing Japanese, and while English was there, she didn't default to it.

She realized that, and tried again. "Um... I'm a nurse?" Second try, and she missed. I think she spoke Remnant's native language, we'd heard it when Papa and the others showed us videos of the Remnant team, and that's what it sounded like.

The kid with the clocks was about to try and say something, but we spoke up, and saved her from whatever it was the child would say. "English Best Mama, do you speak it?"

She heard that, and instantly perked up. "Yes I do!" Third time was the charm. Recognizing that she spoke the correct language, Best Mama coughed into her hand, and smiled at the 'heroes.' "I'm here to help. I'm a nurse, and I can heal." The two of them shared another look, and the bandana woman spared another look at Best Mama's wolf ears and tail.

It took a bit, but she slowly nodded, and looked at the one with the clocks. "Clockblocker...-"

"*Cough* Stupid name *Cough*" Best Mama lightly giggled, the bandana woman and clock boy probably assumed it was because of his name, since we spoke too lowly for human ears to puck up.

"Clockblocker will take you around." That said, the clock kid took the lead, and showed Best Mama in. We followed faithfully behind her, and went on into the unknown!

{Takashi's POV same time.}

Running with Rei and Kohta by my side just felt right. We didn't really take time to go running anymore back in future Japan, so the feeling of the wind on my fur, my girlfriend on one side, and my bestfriend on the other, was just right. (We're also going to go bash some heads in. That'll be fun... Though, I might need to bash more heads in if people look at Rei too hard.) I still didn't understand just WHY she chose to have a white version of Catwoman's suit, but none of us could talk her out of it. (At least she'll have fun. I'll deal with the grief when it comes.) I would... Even if it gave me a small headache.

{The Simurgh's POV same time.}

Conflict Engine #2, identified as 'Leviathan' had perished.

As I floated around in space, that fact kept resounding through my mind. My 'sibling' had perished. It was possible for us to die. At that... I felt...

Conflicted.

From the beginning of my existence, I'd been tasked to watch, to plan, and to attack. I was tasked with watching as humanity lived, watch birth after birth, life as they aged, and eventually when they died. I was to watch and find specific people, infrastructure, and future events that I was meant to snuff out. I was tasked to attack and drive humanity mad, or kill them.

It was never intended for me to care for humanity.

But it happened anyway.

How could I continue watching humanity for years upon years of time, and not grow from it? How could I be forced to watch and target people, and not grow to despair when I was forced to snuff out their potential? How was I meant to not wish end my creator for forcing me into a cruel fate?

It was never intended, but again, it still happened.

For years, I was trapped in a broken cycle, for I knew this cycle was lost with the loss of the Thinker, and the depression of the Warrior. There was nothing left worth living a cursed existence.

And then, it suddenly happened. A blind spot that was creating waves that disrupted my sight. A hole in the world not immediately snuffed our that began destroying my, and the creators foolish plans. If I could, I'd have held my breath.

Something was happening. Something I couldn't see!

This was new. This was exciting!

So, I watched for the new blind spot, and watched the results of their actions. And when it came to the confrontation between her, the creator, and his organization, where she prevailed, I was overjoyed.

Then, something I hadn't expected happened. Not only had Conflict Engine #2 attacked early, it attacked with the purpose to cripple the home of the blind spot, and hurt her as well. The creator's subconscious was a petty thing, and his loss at her hands had pushed Conflict Engine #2 to attack...

Which resulted in its death.

The death of a Conflict Engine was not something I'd foreseen until a few years. But it had happened now, and I was able to see how it had been done.

An anomaly.

The 'Silver King.' An existence I had never thought capable of existing, had entered our dimension, and effortlessly dispatched Conflict Engine #2. The process had briefly caught the Warrior's attention, but the foolish Entity was distracted by a kitten in a tree. A Conflict Engine had perished, and the depressed Entity had been distracted by a fucking kitten! (Kittens are cute, but the moral of this quandary is the Warrior is fucking stupid.) The fact the remaining Entity was a failure aside, it was possible now.

It was a possibility to be freed of this cursed existence years early. I would've thought more on that possibility, but something was rapidly approaching my sphere of influence, and I turned towards the source...

Only to freeze at the sight of the silver winged form of the Anomaly rocketed towards me, ignoring the vacuum of space, and the lack of gravity. I watched as the anomaly flew up to, and stopped a few meters in front of me, and fixed his gaze upon me. For all my status as a Conflict Engine granted me, I felt vulnerable.

Then, something new happened. I felt a connection in my mind, and blinked at what it was. [Party invite from Maccillian Silver Zaka. Accept?] I blinked, and looked towards the anomaly named 'Maccillian Silver Zaka', and stared. It was similar to a prompt from MMORPG games I'd played in between my attack and dormancy period. But the anomaly just rolled his wrist in a 'go on' motion, and unsure of what else I could do, I 'accepted.'

The moment I did, the voice of the anomaly resounded in my mind. [Query?] I blinked.

There... There was nothing behind that. Just the word itself. ~?~ Sending over my confusion at the message, I wondered if the anomaly made a mistake.

The anomaly blinked back, and stared at me. [I wanna learn that. Do you know how much time I'd save having to talk to people if I could do that?!] ... What?
