Aftermath

Argh. All of my body is hurting. The training that Scathach put us through is too much for my current body. Scathach decided to train me even harder because of my bloodline power. She decided to put me into a beating room because I cannot get injured as long as I still have demonic energy inside my body.

What I mean by a beating room is that I get inside a room along with her before she beats me until my demonic power depletes and leaves my body half dead.

My peerage did not go through the same training as me, but they also went through harsh training. From monster hunting to sparring with her. It was my peerage against her, and to no one's surprise, we were defeated.

Scathach is fast, VERY fast. Not only that, but she is also VERY durable. We have a hard time hitting her as she runs around the arena with ease, dodging all of our attacks, and when she gets hit, she can take a massive hit and think of it like it was just a breeze of wind hitting her...

And I have yet to tell you about her strength. She hit ten times more than the dragon from before. One hit from her, half of my bones are broken. Her fist can break the barrier Medea and Hermione made with ease. I know they did not have a preparation to make those but come on. Even I have difficulty trying to break those kinds of barriers.

That is only her physical prowess. Scathach's magical skill is on another level. When Dagda said that Scathach was his most prized student, he really meant it. Her runic spell is on another level. She can carve a massive runic formula in a matter of a second, and she can modify it on the fly.

She can combine many kinds of runic language as if it were a normal English language. Not only runic spell, but she also has a few types of magic spells she uses. From a magic circle to even a holy scripture that the heaven and church use.

Fighting Scathach is like fighting against a level three hundred raid boss while we are a level one noobies.

"Are you okay, master?"

I look up and see Hermione looking down on me. I smile at her and sit down on the ground.

"I'm doing fine, Hermione. My bloodline power is already healing me."

"But the pain still stays, right?"

"Yup."

"Do you want me to patch you up?"

"Yes, please."

Within a second, my body slowly got better. I can feel my body is no longer hurting.

"Thank you, Hermione."

"No problem, master."

Ah, yeah. Hermione starts to call me master after she has some talk with Medea. Hermione tries to say something, but a familiar voice decides to interrupt her.

"How are you doing, Ri-chan?!"

I look to the side and see Serafall appear next to us with her megawatt smile. She and the rest of the bodyguard decide to stay here for a week at the request of Scathach to train us. She said something about how she wants to train her students first before letting us back home.

"I'm doing good, Sera-chan."

That is another nickname Serafall forced me to use. That or Levia-tan.

"That's good because we need to get back home. Your mother is really worried, and little Ravel also misses you."

"Really?"

"Yup. Come on. We need to prepare."

|3rd POV|

After they take a bath and change their clothes, Riser and his peerage plus Serafall, walk inside the dining room where Dagda and Scathach sit on the chair next to the long table. Sitting on the table is a massive banquet filled with many kinds of food from around the world.

"Welcome! To the graduation party!"

"Graduation?" Serafall looks at Dagda with confusion before something clicks inside her head. "Ah, Riser and his peerage is graduation from Scathach tutoring."

Dagda laughed loudly and nodded his head.

"Yes and No. Scathach over here did not want to let Riser graduate just yet, but because of his current status, I tell her to let him and his peerage graduate early and-"

"I want to visit here at least every two years for an evaluation test and additional training."

"And that, yeah. With the agreement being signed, I will let him and his peerage come to visit our little home without an invitation."

Serafall looked at Dagda with a shocked expression. This is the first time the Celtic Pantheon lets outsiders get inside their homes without an invitation. They usually get a strict screening and procedure before they can get inside.

And now Dagda, the chief god of Celtic Pantheon, decides to give Riser and his peerage a free pass? That is big news.

What Serafall did not know is that by getting accepted by Scathach as her student, Riser and his peerage was now part of the Celtic Pantheon. Riser and his peerage will not receive special treatment or anything. As long as he and his group respect the Celt, they will respect them back.

"I see…" Serafall nodded her head. "I will tell this to Lord and Lady Phenex."

"Good! Now! Let's start the feast!"

Riser and co enjoy the feast given to them by Dagda and the rest of Celtic Faction. The food is good enough that Riser's Faerie Feast did not complain about it, and that says something. The power still supplies him with the idea of making the dishes even more delicious, but there is no complaint from his ability. It was a feast fit for a God.

After eating the food and saying their goodbye, Riser and co teleported to London, England. Because no train station connects Ireland to the underworld, or at least not yet, and they need to teleport away to England first.

From there, they will take a train station that connects the human world and the underworld.

"Come on! Can you do better than that, Sairaorg!"

"ARGH!"

I dodge the incoming punch and counter it with my own fist. The boy in front of me was fast enough to put his hand in front of my fist to block it, but it was not enough to stop it. I can see him get thrown away by the force of my fist.

Seeing him struggling to stand up, I sigh and walk toward him.

"I think that is enough for today's training, Sairaorg."

"No! I-I need to keep going!"

"Haaaa…"

I sit next to him and say.

"Sairaorg. I know what you have been through, and I know that you want to keep going forward but let me tell you something. Sometimes you need to take a break. Relax and let your body breathe for a moment."

"No! I can't. I-I want to protect my mother. I did not want her to suffer any longer."

"And currently, you are making her worry and indirectly making her suffer."

"What?"

"What you are doing right now makes her worry. You are too focused on your training and never visit your mother. Even when you are not telling your mother about your insane training schedule, she knows about it from the Bael Clan's servant. Seeing you did not visit her, she worried about your health, and because of that, her health started to worsen. When you saw your mother last time, what did you see?"

When I said that, I could see Sairaorg's face starting to get pale. It looks like I hit the bullseye.

"That is what I mean. Take a one-day break and visit your mother. Take her to a garden and have a nice picnic. Tell her that you are doing great and have been training hard. Tell her that she can trust you, and she does not need to worry."

I like Sairaorg. He is a good kid. He is hardworking, honest, and kind. He did not really deserve his current fate. I know that he will do fine even when I do not need to help him, but I can't just stand there and not help him.

While I did not want to admit it, I wanted him as my ally. He will become a powerful individual in the future, and I want him as my ally.

".... Thank you."

"Think nothing of it, Sairaorg."

"If there is anything I can do for you, tell me."

"Heh. If I get into trouble in the future, I want you to help me."

"I swear in the name of Bael Clan. I will support you when that time comes."

"I will hold your word."

Riser did not know it, but Sairaorg will remember his promise and will always be at Riser's side to the end.
