I walk into the clubroom. Normally, I am the last one to arrive, but the room is quiet and empty today. I take the time to pull out my phone to send Ari a message.

You:

Ari, where were you? I heard something about a wedding from a girl, but you never told me about it.

I also check our mail to see if we have had any reaction to the posters. Except for a few spam mails, our inbox is empty. I sigh and put away my phone.

Finally, the other three walk in. "You guys look more and more tired every time I see you," I say.

Noah nods. "It's impossible to sleep with how warm it is..."

It is true. During the day, people open their windows to air out their rooms, and this, together with the sunlight coming in, heats up rooms. Most people close their windows when nighttime comes, but even if they didn't, the air is still warm outside. It is just hot 24/7.

Well, for most normal people that is. For a rich kid like me, every night is the same, comfortable temperature, whether it is winter or summer. I have the best air conditioner and heater there is.

"Don't any of you have any air conditioning?" I ask them. I know Noah's family is pretty poor, but the other two should be wealthy enough.

"I do, but it's just so much warmer when you share--" Lucian starts, but quickly shuts his mouth as someone glares at him from behind my back, so much that even I can feel it.

Before I can turn around and find out who it is, the feeling disappears, and Lucian's face shows relief. I frown at him, but he smiles as if nothing has happened. I then look at the other two, who both give me a questioning look. Well, whatever...

"Hey, guys, isn't it about to be our band's first anniversary in like a week?" The light haired boy changes subjects, acting like he didn't just got the angriest glare I know.

"It's next Tuesday," Caden adds.

"Then why don't we do something together? We couldn't do Secret Santa last year, so why don't we do it now?" Lucian proposes.

Noah, who has started to doze off, immediately goes sit straight on his chair when he hears the words 'Secret Santa'. "Bro, that's an amazing idea! I mean, it's basically Christmas already!" He encourages the idea.

"Guys, it's May..." My fellow not-so-energetic friend sighs.

I laugh, but don't see any reasons to disagree with the lively duo. "Can someone give me a piece of paper?" I ask, grabbing a pen out if my bag. Noah hands me a piece of paper and I neatly fold it into four pieces, rip them apart and write our names on it. Then I fold the pieces again.

"Everybody grab a piece and look at the name. If you have yourself, we go again," I tell them. The other three each grab one of the small paper squares. I open the one that's left, stare at the name for a while, and then close it again. Well, that's perfect. It's expensive, but I know exactly what he wants.

"Can we come to your house Tuesday, Nuri? It must be way cooler there..." Caden asks me with a soft voice, knowing that I don't like people coming over.

I don't particularly hide the fact that I am rich, but I dislike people knowing about it. I'd rather be a regular kid in other people's eyes. But these guys are my friends, and they have visited my house many times before.

"Sure. How about 12 PM?" I answer after a second. The others nod. "Good, then that's fixed. Let's play!" I say as I grab the microphone.
