Christine's after-wedding party took longer than expected, and I never found the time to visit Jerah after that. I'm spent, but I have another wedding to attend today, so I can't sleep it off.
At least I'll be spending today with my boyfriend, though. And since I don't have any important tasks today, I can take it slow. The only thing I have to do is watch and bring the kids, but is that really a task?
At 8 in the morning, after sleeping just 4 hours thanks to Christine, I'm standing in front of my lover's house.
As soon as the door opens, the five oldest kids come running up, trying to climb on me. Apparently, it is very fun to sit on me, according to them, because they have been trying to claim a spot every time I visit.
"Careful. We don't want him to get hurt," Jerah sighs when they almost knock me over. He's holding his nephew, who also reaches out to me.
I pat all of their heads shortly while trying to move through them. "Good morning, everyone."
