Even if Akimitsu's first day went off to a bad start after he was dumped by his own siblings. Though, it lightened when a pretty yet kind girl, named Ami, that came to comfort and befriend him after he had a breakdown on his way to school. Ami also offered to walk with Akimitsu to school. When Akimitsu had gone inside the school establishment, he had to join his class and introduce himself in front of the whole class.
"Hello, Akimitsu. Please, introduce yourself to the class to let us get to know you better." the class teacher said while looking at Akimitsu.
Akimitsu was standing while clutching his books. He then gathered the courage to lent out his voice.
"My... My name's Akimitsu... Akimitsu Itsuki. I moved to Kyoto a week ago with my family from Shibuya." he spoke loudly, even though his voice cut out in the first words couple of words.
"Alright, that'll be enough. You may take a seat now, Akimitsu." the teacher spoke.
Akimitsu went to sit beside a girl. Akimitsu didn't want to choose the seat but he had no option left since there are no other seats in the class. Meanwhile, the girl next to him had white-colored hair and she had a beautiful colored skin with her cheeks bright red. Akimitsu thought to himself,
"Oh wow, she is adorable. Why are there so many cute girls in this school? Am I in the wrong school? Wrong class maybe?".
The girl next to him then whispered to him, "You know, you won't get through your first day flawlessly. So don't try that hard to be perfect. Everyone gets a bad start at the first thing they do."
Akimitsu just stared at his desk, even though he had overheard what the girl next to him said.
"I'm Midori Niragi." While looking at Akimitsu in interest and out of curiosity.
"I'm Akimitsu Itsuki..." Akimitsu replied.
"You've already told that, dummy." Midori answered.
"Oh, well... at least it's better than not answering at all, right?"
"Hah! You are quite a peculiar student, Akimitsu..." Midori responded.
"Always had been." He replied
"Eek, seems like you need more attention than anyone else in this class." Midori replied back.
Meanwhile, the teacher was teaching in front of the class. Suddenly, one of his classmates, a boy, threw a paper at his face. The crumbled paper wrote, "Mess with her, you mess with me.". It was obvious that the boy had a love affection for the girl next to him and got jealous when she greeted Akimitsu on his first day. When Akimitsu glanced at the person that had threw the paper, he was showing an unpleasant facial expression, which is that of a murderer and a clenched fist. Akimitsu told himself that he should stop talking to random people that he met as the consequences might not end well for him.
After school ended, Akimitsu remembered the girl that had helped him out on his way to school. Her name was Ami Sugihara, a kind, yet pleasant girl. The name had been glued onto Akimitsu's mind for a time. Suddenly, the school bell rang. The school had ended just as Akimitsu was daydreaming about his crush on a girl he had liked. The whole class was emptied but Akimitsu was left sitting alone, daydreaming. He quickly got out. As he was walking down the hallway, he saw his older brother, Kane that had already made friends and his friends were one of the school's popular students. As Kane's group of friends walked with Kane, he saw Ami next to Kane. Akimitsu wasn't surprised to see that Ami Sugihara was with the popular group in the school despite her facial features and lovely personality. As Akimitsu walked past the popular group of students, and they immediately started to tease Akimitsu.
"Hey, it's that new kid." one of them shouted and spat words to tease Akimitsu.
They all laughed and joked about Akimitsu and how he's always been a lonely kid in school. While looking down, Akimitsu continued to walk in embarrassment, knowing that his brother also had joined in with the teasing and his brother was also one of the popular groups of students.
On his way back home, he caught a glimpse of Ami Sugihara, walking beside his own brother, and Kane's friends. He assumed that Kane was also one of Ami's friends, and so he went closer to peek at what they were talking about but it all turned around when Kane tried to coquet with Ami. Akimitsu figured that Kane might've been his brother's date with Ami and that Ami didn't know that Akimitsu was actually Kane's brother.
Akimitsu then continued to walk back home knowing that he will always be alone by himself since everyone had their own partners while Akimitsu hadn't even found a friend.
