Chapter 4

Truth be told, Yura was a lot more dangerous than anyone of those so called "Number 1s".

This was because Yura was born different than most. Of course she had no memories of either of her parents and the only mother figure she had was her sister.

Her sister had taught her everything she knew, gave her everything she has and made her everything she is.

Lacking certain emotions and empathy, Yeri tried everything she could to teach Yura about human emotions and love.

Sometimes this made her feel satisfied knowing that Yeri would always be with her, even if she changed someday.

That is why despite knowing that Yeri obviously did not look anything like her and knowing that they probably were not blood related, Yura did not ever question Yeri about it.

Understanding that Yeri was now dieing, Yura could only wonder if she did have any other real family.

In her dreams , Yura dreamt of Yeri for the first time since she came here.

Waking up , Yura splashed her face with water and wondered to herself if this a sign for her to start her real mission.

There was another specific reason for Yura choosing to come to this school. Although she had a reason to come, she did not yet know what the reason was.

The day that Yeri was admitted to hospital, Yura had found a suspicious looking photograph when packing Yeri's belongings.

It was an old and dusty photograph which showed two people in white lab coats. Yura assumed one of them was her sister. The peculiar thing was the date. It read 12 May 20XX.

That was the date that Yura remembered her first memory from! It was also the date of the day that Yeri said their parents died.

The place where the picture was taken was on the very grounds of the original structure of the Saku Hato foundation ;which was now used as the main building of the school.

All these thoughts led her to this school.

The final clue was written at the back of the photograph. It read :

' Kind Regards to the one who blooms'.

For anyone who is curious, it is was discovered that the leader of the original Saku Hato used to use those very words when writing to his allies. It was a sort of a sign to prove his identity.

The past few weeks that Yura had been here, she had gone through many of the books in the library pertaining to the history of the school and its correspondents. She had searched to no avail.

Instead of keeping a low profile and getting closer to finding the truth, she has instead been forced into the spotlight of everyone's attention.

Coming to terms with her current situation, Yura got dressed and set of to pay a visit to the Saku Hato group's memorial hall which was given as a reward to the original founders for helping the government during crisis and developing the current boosting economy.

Surprisingly the hall was only made open to the public during the weekends.

Saku Hato itself was an organization of a large chain of influential business groups. Their main purpose for creating the Saku Hato school and its counterparts were to cultivate the future leaders in the next generation.

The children being from the highest ranking elite members of society were sent to these schools where they were given the best of the best for all their worth.

If you managed to get in Saku Hato , then you practically had your life set out for you.

After hearing so many rumors about the school before arriving here, Yura was dumbfounded to realize that it was all true. I mean who would believe a social hierarchy like that would exist in such a modern school?

As Yura made her way into the Dome like structure , she had noticed that there was a tight security all around.

The inner building seemed like nothing special considering the interior.

The walls were a dull shade of beige whilst the tiles were a glimmering blue that reminded you of precious gemstones.

As Yura read the posters and descriptions below them , she did not seem very intrigued. Most of the history written here were the same things that the entire nation had learnt about in elementary school.

It talked about the war from 150 or so ago, between the two most prominent nations. The Aureola and the Bisonte. The artifect's descriptions described the soldiers of Aureola as honorable knights who died to protect their land from the treacherous tyranny of the rulers of Bisonte.

Yura however did not believe that the Aureola did justice to their ancestors beliefs of freedom and prosperity. Instead they had become more and more like the very tyrants their ancestors fought against , if not worse.

For example the current rulers and politicians all had some kind of dirt on their hands. From illegal slush funds to covered up crimes, all for the sake of maintaining their status and each trying to be the next Leader of Nations.

After the war was won by the Aureola using a secret weapon of which no one knew anything about; the Aureola and all the nations came together as one nation. Saku Hato had been the secret organization which had developed and created the secret weapon , therefore becoming a symbol of peace to the people. The decision of making the leader of the Saku Hato the ruler was the only way to settle the public's worries. However, the leader of the Saku Hato declined the offer saying that he was going into retirement. Instead he asked that a panel be made with leaders from each nation who would lead all the nations together as one.

Other than the leaders present at the time, no one knew the true identity of the leader of the Saku Hato. In turn the second in command who was the sworn brother of the actual leader ,became the new leader and one of leaders of the United World.

Yura watched as a slide show was being displayed in the center of the main hall; showing pictures of the Treaty of War Heroes and the aftermath of the war.

She hadn't learnt anything new so far except that the Saku Hato current leader was not a descendant of the original leader but rather his sworn brother's descendant.

This made things more confusing for her.

If the Saku Hato current leader is not the descendant of the original , then who was the photograph referring to?
